Besides the farm…read morezoo, where you can buy cups of carrots to feed the many varieties of animals - I wouldn't say petting zoo as you are advised to feed the animals only with the plastic shovel and not stick your fingers into the pens - there are several little play houses with play activities (train set, corn cabin, kitchen, grocery store, etc), a playground with a sandpit, and tractor and train rides. The sandpit even has toys like dump trucks - my kid would be perfectly happy to just stay there and call it a day! The condition of everything in the main areas is a little grubby, however. I appreciate that they put out plenty of chairs and benches all around for parents to sit on (cos waiting for your child while they play is an unavoidable part of the game), as well as some picnic tables. Prices are fair and reasonable, and entry for kids under 2 is free.

Let it be known, It would make my day to eat moes during practice. Even without Tex-Mex fast food, this is a wonderful facility. I almost don't mind that I have to drive 35 minutes twice a week to get here.

The climbs are frequently updated and there is enough variety for every difficulty level. Both I, my friends, and my seven year old have a plethora of top rope climbs and bouldering to chose from. I totally forgot how majestic and beautiful these animals are. Upon entering, we were greeted by Ania who turned out to be our instructor/guide for our trail ride. Upon checking in, we grabbed horseback riding helmets and Ania walked us through some basic instructions and what to expect on the trail ride. It was great to learn how to push the horse to move, stop, or speed up. My horse was Eleanor, a grey Mustang Mare. She was super friendly and easy to ride with. The trail ride includes scenic bridle paths in Loantaka Park and we even picked up the pace and trotted a couple of times which was amazing to experience. Definitely one of my favorite activities I've done in 2025. I can't recommend Seaton Hackney Stables enough!

The staff are incredibly kind and the horses, animals and farm land are beautifully taken care of. Here is a pick with me and Johnny! He was such a sweetheart. I didn't want to leave! My trail guide was very kind. She knew a lot about the horses and the trail. I will be back next year, hopefully sooner! Horses see into your soul, just like dogs too. I think.
