For once I feel like for the teachers, this is their profession - not just a job during college or until they get an elementary school gig. There seems to be little staff turnover and they genuinely seem happy, which reflects in my child's happiness. The curriculum is thoughtful, age appropriate, and even challenging. I love knowing that my daughter is truly being prepped for kindergarten and being exposed to many different subjects on a daily basis with their 30 minute curriculum schedule. They bring technology into the classroom, but in an educational way, and it in no way rules the classroom. They offer a very hands in, dynamic learning experience with plenty of time for both collaborative and independent playtime. I couldn't be happier and would recommend it to any parent.

The girls are all treated like they are family there. All the teachers/aides/staff know their names. The girls run in and give them hugs. The teachers are amazing. My kids are learning both English, Spanish & sign language. They include math in almost every lesson but make it fun. Unfortunately, today I felt the need to review this business due to the trauma my son has been facing. My son attended this center for less than 8 months. In which two major head injuries occurred (see photo). One hematoma on the forehead which has left him with permanent muscle tear and is visible when he cries or laughs real big. Second injury was staples on his head because they allowed another child to hit my son with a very heavy plastic toy that gashed my son's head pretty deep. This is not ALL staff but certainly some young ones who clearly are not meant to be in The field to care for children. Sadly also management not being more proactive to make sure teachers are more aware of the children's surroundings. These are only 2 incidents that I felt justifiable enough never to return. There were other incidents of my child constantly being bitten. My reason for writing this is because the staples incident occurred 4/4/2025 and today my son had a complete meltdown scared to return to a new daycare... still naming the child from kindercare who hurt him. I'm not blaming the child I'm blaming management for having people who don't care and for not being more involved in the classroom. When my husband returned the following Monday to retrieve our sons belongings the staff didn't even bat an eye and that's very sad to hear. The reviews you see here are from management office pushing to get reviews from both parents and staff. They aren't real reviews. I only know this because I was one of the parents who received those request in November/December. Due to the biting incidents it took me awhile to review. But after the hematoma I removed it. All bad reviews seem to have been deleted. I hope they do better... for the children's safety and for the parents who have to work and shouldn't have to worry about their children's safety.

It's a wonderful feeling to know that your child is above average when comparing with most other children of the same age. He can focus on independent play and can easily go over an hour doing an activity. Then, magically, he cleans up what he was working on. This is almost all the time when he sits at the kitchen table and less so in his room on the floor. I attribute his independence and organisation to the Montessori method. Our son was enrolled at this daycare from approximately 6 months old until 2.5 years old. For most…read moreof that time, our experience was acceptable. That changed following a leadership transition, when the full-time director went on leave and an acting director assumed responsibility. During this period, several concerns arose. Most notably, our son was removed from his classroom and placed into a younger class so that the classroom teacher could supervise her 9-year-old son, who was present on school grounds but is not enrolled at the daycare. This occurred during normal operating hours and included times when routine care was taking place, including diaper changes, while the unenrolled child was present in the classroom. We were informed of this by administration and personally observed the unenrolled child on site. As a result, our son missed instructional time in his assigned, age-appropriate classroom. Shortly afterward, we were informed in writing that our son's continued enrollment required providing a full-time one-on-one aide. Our son has a speech delay and receives early intervention speech services; however, licensed medical and developmental professionals evaluated him and determined that he did not qualify for, or require, a one-on-one aide. When we explained that we could not meet this requirement, we asked hypothetically whether our son would be permitted to remain enrolled if a one-on-one aide were provided. We were told that he would not. Our requests for clarification did not result in further discussion. His enrollment was then ended, and no alternative accommodations were discussed prior to this decision. This resulted in sudden loss of childcare. We are sharing our experience so other families can make informed decisions, particularly those with young children who receive early intervention services or may require additional support.

I instructed the American Heart Association's Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid CPR AED for Children & Infants course. The entire Cradles to Crayons team was completely engaged and eager to learn the neccessary skills I was teaching. They paid close attention to all of my instructions throughout the course and it really was a pleasure to work with them. I train almost every day of the week and it was obvious that the staff at Cradles to Crayons wanted to learn how to save a life. Thank you to Doreen & the Cradles to Crayons staff for being such wonderful students. I'm looking forward to coming back in 2 years for your recertification.

My daughter went there after her preschool which she attended because of a hearing impairment. They met the bus every afternoon and did not have to. They are caring and truly keep my kids happy. My 4 year old son went through a rough stage last in the fall where he did not want to leave us. The teachers went out of there way to make him feel extra special every morning to get through this rough patch. Maria is fantastic and Karen, Lindsey and Kelly are FABULOUS teachers who truly care about the kids.
