The staff was about to leave when I walked in for a holiday break over the summer, but Ms. Donna welcomed me in to show me around. I was impressed with how clean each of the rooms were. They have hard wood floors throughout with the occasional area rug for children to sit and play or read. Each child has their own hook for their coats and backpacks. The infant room as a dedicated location for each child's belongings (Diapers, cups, snack, pacifiers, etc.) They have an outside location for the children to play during the warm weather. In the summer they do water play. Once a week the music teacher comes in and the kids have a blast. Tiny Tiki is a fun place to be. After a short discussion with my husband we decided to bring our daughter here. Day one was rough for me to leave my daughter at 3 months old, but Ms. Donna was quick to send me pictures of how happy she was throughout the day. Over a year later I can honestly say choosing Tiny Tiki was the best decision. My daughter is so happy to go to day care each day. She knows all the teachers and can say their names at almost 2 yrs old. They all care for each of the children as their own. There are even times when she cries because she doesn't want to leave. I never worry about her being there all day while my husband and I are at work. Keep up the great work! Thumbs up to Ms. Donna for running such a great school.

They learned all necessary skills to enter kindergarten with ease, they enjoyed Mr. Roe's visits and still talk about Miss Michelle Miss Gayle and Miss Susan. I started by pricing stay at home nannies and soon realized that it would take a big chunk out of my paycheck so I decided to look at the local day cares. After several tours, I realized that there are mainly two types of day care: large state of the art (usually chain/franchise) schools with steril classrooms or tiny over crowded day cares with classrooms that looks a little like a ongoing garage sale. In the beginning, I was excited about the first type. They had shiny pamphlets going on about how you can watch your kid all day on their live video feed. Then I went for a tour and I was able to walk into the building because someone kicked the rug under the door and it wasn't latched. I then saw that most of the staff working there were college kids with a high turnover and later researched that day care video gets hacked. With the latter, I didn't see how an infant was going to get the attention needed with so many other kids. Not to mention, I learned what coxsackie was on one of these tours. Yikes! My last tour was the Busy Bee Academy. I actually almost canceled because I was so discouraged with all my tours, I was ready to foot the bill for a nanny. I'm so happy that I didn't cancel that day. I met with Susan one of the owners who gave me a tour of their very quaint facility off a quiet parking lot in Fairfield. She immediate started to tell me how Busy Bee is a family run business celebrating its 15th year. The lobby was super safe! No shared codes, the staff knows who you are and only lets approved pickups in the building. She then brought me down a small hallway with bright classrooms full of happy kids. The playground is built off the parking lot (like most day cares) but above it is a forest of trees which is neat for the kids. Susan actually stressed how Busy Bee focuses on education even with infants. I told her my little one was musical and she showed me foot pianos, xylophones, and explained how a gentleman comes in every so often to play instruments with the kids. Half the staff are experienced moms that have been with the academy for quite some time. Most the staff is referred word-of-mouth which I appreciated as well. It was an easy decision to enroll my little one right away. I have a flexible job so I was so happy that not only the daily hours but the days of the week too are month to month. Since joining the Busy Bee family, my little one has not only been happy at day care but I think she prefers it! Every milestone she comes home with a cute keepsake (seashell with a baby footprint! Too cute) and she has seriously advanced both cognitively and physically. I am so thankful to the staff at Busy Bee for making this transition so easy for the both of us!

This school was truly exceptional for us. They are on top of everything and the environment was just perfect for my child. The facility, the teachers, the director, even the owner were really hands on and trust worthy. My son in the beginning cried so much (even threw up) since he was traumatized from other just as expensive and private school/montessori/academy. The director told me "give us a month and everything will change" It really did! my son just loves it there and he flourished dramatically within his first month. They care immensely for the children esp Corrie the director. She treats each and everyone of the kids there like family. My son's teachers Ms. Nicole, Ms. Kelly, Ms. Michelle were lovely professionals. From a boy who doesn't even want to get out of the car as soon as we park there to a happy toddler who wakes up excited to go to school rushes out of the car to run to his classroom it was just a miracle for us to see him grow this much. Thank you for everything.
