Total charge was $2,400 for one month of summer camp. The price is not my main issue. Its the manner in which they bill and THREATEN. I usually send my daughter to Lightbridge which has smaller class sizes and is a better school IMO and have never been billed in that manner. Apple Montesorri billing practice is threatening and predatory in nature. On Monday, 3/20, I received an email indicating paymment should in full in 2 days or "your application will be denied". . I didnt want my daughter to attend a school with such practices so I didnt pay tge inviice forgetting that I had given them my credit card info. . My card was charged on Friday 3/24. Today on 3/27, I contacted them telling the school I'm no longr interested in their summer program. They claim I cant reverse the charge and my daughter must attend their summer program that starts 2 months away. I've already called my bank to reverse the charge. But had to leave a review as this practice is predatory and manipulative. I only wanted my daughter to attend due to the daily swim classes n activities. But I could not in good faith support a school thats so impersonal and threatens parents. Their proram doent start till after July 4 by tge way. We're still in March!.

We had a very bad experience when they started charging us for AM and PM care randomly for being 1 or 2 minutes late or early. When we tried to explain that the timestamps appear to be made up(which they were - I had proof), they just charged us anyway(without authorization). Even when the assistant director told us that there was an error on their part, the tuition director didn't refund us the charge. Following is what I observed in being ~4 years with the school: 1. They find new ways of getting money from parents. 2. Their fast track program($100 per month) is a waste. When the teacher of this program left, the school didn't inform the parents about it and kept charging us. 3. Even the tution director who does the billing doesn't know the correct buffer pick or drop times for the parents. These buffer times changed when I exchanged emails with her. Earlier it was said that it's 10 minutes for morning but later this was changed to 15 minutes in the same email thread.(looks like a scam to me) Their payment system has been designed to make holes in parent's pockets: 1. There is no free AM or PM care, and buffer times vary based on whom you ask. 2. During covid they did close classrooms for weeks, but we as parents never asked for refund. They should have at least brought it up. We kept our kids home and never said that we need money back for services we never got. 3. Fast track classes are charged $100 per month. Why would you charge for extra class when it should be available for every kid paying the monthly tuition? I can't give less than 1 on review, but if they keep going on this path then parents like us will keep leaving this school. Please do not send your kid to this school. Stars for the management : 0

Unfortunately, today I felt the need to review this business due to the trauma my son has been facing. My son attended this center for less than 8 months. In which two major head injuries occurred (see photo). One hematoma on the forehead which has left him with permanent muscle tear and is visible when he cries or laughs real big. Second injury was staples on his head because they allowed another child to hit my son with a very heavy plastic toy that gashed my son's head pretty deep. This is not ALL staff but certainly some young ones who clearly are not meant to be in The field to care for children. Sadly also management not being more proactive to make sure teachers are more aware of the children's surroundings. These are only 2 incidents that I felt justifiable enough never to return. There were other incidents of my child constantly being bitten. My reason for writing this is because the staples incident occurred 4/4/2025 and today my son had a complete meltdown scared to return to a new daycare... still naming the child from kindercare who hurt him. I'm not blaming the child I'm blaming management for having people who don't care and for not being more involved in the classroom. When my husband returned the following Monday to retrieve our sons belongings the staff didn't even bat an eye and that's very sad to hear. The reviews you see here are from management office pushing to get reviews from both parents and staff. They aren't real reviews. I only know this because I was one of the parents who received those request in November/December. Due to the biting incidents it took me awhile to review. But after the hematoma I removed it. All bad reviews seem to have been deleted. I hope they do better... for the children's safety and for the parents who have to work and shouldn't have to worry about their children's safety.

As an educator myself, I am impressed with the curriculum and all of her teachers as she has progressed through the program. They have not only supported her, but have guided her through her milestones as well as educated her. I had to keep my son home for a few weeks because we had a newborn. Not even one person bothered to check on my son to see if he's okay! This also applies to when the boy is absent you never hear from them! Again, unlike other daycares visits are not allowed, bringing cake for your kids birthdays isn't allowed, I was told not to put any candy in my son's birthday giveaway bags but we personally received bags with tons of candy from other children! Hmmm the rules don't apply for everyone!! I sent an organic ointment with my sons belongings with his name printed on it, that ointment was no where to be found! So I bought and sent a new one! Funny enough when I decided to pull my son out and received his belongings, again the ointment wasn't there! Seems like this ointment is someone's favorite over there! On the parent forum "Bright wheel" we would receive a picture with many clothing items with the following question "Is any of these items for your son?" How tacky and unprofessional is this! A few days ago, I dropped the boy off to only receive a voicemail while getting into my complex elevator that exactly states: "your son is upset and he ran right into the door and when we tried to pick him up to console him he threw himself on the floor and he bumped his head a pretty good bump" then moving forward to the accident report I received for this incident it exactly states: "Your son banged his head on the door twice and threw himself face first on the ground and hit his head" WOW! Which statement should I believe? I said show me the cameras I would like to see it in action because my son has never done this before. Sure enough the principal refused. Not only their accident report statement is vague but it's very insulting for me as a mother, and for my 2 years old son as well. So does all their other accident reports. They want you to believe there's something wrong with your child and it's him to blame for incidents. I don't invest into teaching my son to wake up and start banging his head randomly NO! Shame on them if their accusations is right pushing a child to behave this way! Everyone was horrified of my son's head injury including his doctor who asked us if we saw the cameras? Everyone is having a very hard time believing that my son would do this to himself! Everyone is suggesting that police should be involved. 2 days after his head injury he goes back to Everbrook and right after they received him, I receive a text on brightwheel saying: "your son was upset I tried comforting him but it wasn't working and resulted on him wanting to hit his head on the floor" Really? IF I believe their accusations, what would push a happy child to hurt himself over there? What makes those big negative feelings of a child surface at daycare that we NEVER see at home? Never heard of child wanting to bang their head after "consoling and comforting them"! How about the reason? The cause? They fail to contain the child, handle their emotions or communicate on his level appropriately. I then realized my son wasn't in a safe environment and needed out of that place immediately! I am as a mother traumatized of this experience that resulted in my son's head injury ( pictures attached) and I won't be sending him to daycare .. they don't care for children they rather complete tasks to receive a pay. I feel he's in a safe place now with me at home. Avoid Everbrook Academy at all costs!

I started by pricing stay at home nannies and soon realized that it would take a big chunk out of my paycheck so I decided to look at the local day cares. After several tours, I realized that there are mainly two types of day care: large state of the art (usually chain/franchise) schools with steril classrooms or tiny over crowded day cares with classrooms that looks a little like a ongoing garage sale. In the beginning, I was excited about the first type. They had shiny pamphlets going on about how you can watch your kid all day on their live video feed. Then I went for a tour and I was able to walk into the building because someone kicked the rug under the door and it wasn't latched. I then saw that most of the staff working there were college kids with a high turnover and later researched that day care video gets hacked. With the latter, I didn't see how an infant was going to get the attention needed with so many other kids. Not to mention, I learned what coxsackie was on one of these tours. Yikes! My last tour was the Busy Bee Academy. I actually almost canceled because I was so discouraged with all my tours, I was ready to foot the bill for a nanny. I'm so happy that I didn't cancel that day. I met with Susan one of the owners who gave me a tour of their very quaint facility off a quiet parking lot in Fairfield. She immediate started to tell me how Busy Bee is a family run business celebrating its 15th year. The lobby was super safe! No shared codes, the staff knows who you are and only lets approved pickups in the building. She then brought me down a small hallway with bright classrooms full of happy kids. The playground is built off the parking lot (like most day cares) but above it is a forest of trees which is neat for the kids. Susan actually stressed how Busy Bee focuses on education even with infants. I told her my little one was musical and she showed me foot pianos, xylophones, and explained how a gentleman comes in every so often to play instruments with the kids. Half the staff are experienced moms that have been with the academy for quite some time. Most the staff is referred word-of-mouth which I appreciated as well. It was an easy decision to enroll my little one right away. I have a flexible job so I was so happy that not only the daily hours but the days of the week too are month to month. Since joining the Busy Bee family, my little one has not only been happy at day care but I think she prefers it! Every milestone she comes home with a cute keepsake (seashell with a baby footprint! Too cute) and she has seriously advanced both cognitively and physically. I am so thankful to the staff at Busy Bee for making this transition so easy for the both of us!

My oldest daughter will tell any person who asks her that Mrs. Hannavi is the best teacher on the planet. My twins are currently in her class, and the ease I feel with having them with her everyday is immeasurable. She is their second mom, and they absolutely adore her. My one daughter was diagnosed with a developmental delay and sensory processing disorder at the age of 2. Because of this, she was accepted into the special needs program in Wayne, where she attended part time last year. She cried everyday and hated going there. I stuck to my gut and pulled her from the school to be with Mrs. Hannavi full time. I could not be happier with my decision. She is absolutely thriving, all because of her. She has a huge smile on her face everyday and absolutely loves school. PCNS is the best place for your babies. No questions.

We have only ever known Mrs. Hannavi to be a kind, patient and caring teacher. I personally have only had pleasant interactions with her and have heard zero complaints from others. We have a responsibility to advocate for our children, but also to protect our truly wonderful teachers. Mrs. Hannavi is a wonderful teacher.
