I'm writing this review with a heavy heart. I'm not one to bash any company! If I dislike any…read morecompany I just go about my day and don't return. Unfortunately, today I felt the need to review this business due to the trauma my son has been facing. My son attended this center for less than 8 months. In which two major head injuries occurred (see photo). One hematoma on the forehead which has left him with permanent muscle tear and is visible when he cries or laughs real big. Second injury was staples on his head because they allowed another child to hit my son with a very heavy plastic toy that gashed my son's head pretty deep. This is not ALL staff but certainly some young ones who clearly are not meant to be in The field to care for children. Sadly also management not being more proactive to make sure teachers are more aware of the children's surroundings. These are only 2 incidents that I felt justifiable enough never to return. There were other incidents of my child constantly being bitten. My reason for writing this is because the staples incident occurred 4/4/2025 and today my son had a complete meltdown scared to return to a new daycare... still naming the child from kindercare who hurt him. I'm not blaming the child I'm blaming management for having people who don't care and for not being more involved in the classroom. When my husband returned the following Monday to retrieve our sons belongings the staff didn't even bat an eye and that's very sad to hear. The reviews you see here are from management office pushing to get reviews from both parents and staff. They aren't real reviews. I only know this because I was one of the parents who received those request in November/December. Due to the biting incidents it took me awhile to review. But after the hematoma I removed it. All bad reviews seem to have been deleted. I hope they do better... for the children's safety and for the parents who have to work and shouldn't have to worry about their children's safety.

I signed up my daughter for this school's summer program in Feb. Last week Wednesday, I was sent…read morean invoice for the full first month payment plus $300 in fees. Total charge was $2,400 for one month of summer camp. The price is not my main issue. Its the manner in which they bill and THREATEN. I usually send my daughter to Lightbridge which has smaller class sizes and is a better school IMO and have never been billed in that manner. Apple Montesorri billing practice is threatening and predatory in nature. On Monday, 3/20, I received an email indicating paymment should in full in 2 days or "your application will be denied". . I didnt want my daughter to attend a school with such practices so I didnt pay tge inviice forgetting that I had given them my credit card info. . My card was charged on Friday 3/24. Today on 3/27, I contacted them telling the school I'm no longr interested in their summer program. They claim I cant reverse the charge and my daughter must attend their summer program that starts 2 months away. I've already called my bank to reverse the charge. But had to leave a review as this practice is predatory and manipulative. I only wanted my daughter to attend due to the daily swim classes n activities. But I could not in good faith support a school thats so impersonal and threatens parents. Their proram doent start till after July 4 by tge way. We're still in March!.

The school used to be very good and it used to feel like family. But, now the overall experience…read morehas deteriorated. The only thing school really cares about is money and how to get more money from parent's pockets. We had a very bad experience when they started charging us for AM and PM care randomly for being 1 or 2 minutes late or early. When we tried to explain that the timestamps appear to be made up(which they were - I had proof), they just charged us anyway(without authorization). Even when the assistant director told us that there was an error on their part, the tuition director didn't refund us the charge. Following is what I observed in being ~4 years with the school: 1. They find new ways of getting money from parents. 2. Their fast track program($100 per month) is a waste. When the teacher of this program left, the school didn't inform the parents about it and kept charging us. 3. Even the tution director who does the billing doesn't know the correct buffer pick or drop times for the parents. These buffer times changed when I exchanged emails with her. Earlier it was said that it's 10 minutes for morning but later this was changed to 15 minutes in the same email thread.(looks like a scam to me) Their payment system has been designed to make holes in parent's pockets: 1. There is no free AM or PM care, and buffer times vary based on whom you ask. 2. During covid they did close classrooms for weeks, but we as parents never asked for refund. They should have at least brought it up. We kept our kids home and never said that we need money back for services we never got. 3. Fast track classes are charged $100 per month. Why would you charge for extra class when it should be available for every kid paying the monthly tuition? I can't give less than 1 on review, but if they keep going on this path then parents like us will keep leaving this school. Please do not send your kid to this school. Stars for the management : 0

As…read morefirst time parents, my husband and I have been incredibly happy and grateful to all of the staff. From the day we started I have never felt more confident in our child's safety, education, and well-being. From the moment you walk into the door every staff member greets us and knows my daughter's name and what to say if she is having a rough morning. Ms. Mayte and Ms. Alexis are always at the front desk with a smile and are always able to answer any questions or concerns. The director, Ms. Ariel is one of the first people to reach out if my daughter needs anything throughout the day as well as to help my daughter with anything she needs. She is also very open with communication which i find to be a huge comfort. Her teachers have been incredible from the infant class with Ms. Gigi, loving her as well as supporting and helping me through the early stages and milestones of her first months. Her favorite teacher; Ms. Chantel who has become her support person (as well as mine) has been there for her from learning to roll, taking her first steps, learning to speak, and so much more. She goes above and beyond to make sure she is feeling loved and safe throughout her day. As an educator myself, I am impressed with the curriculum and all of her teachers as she has progressed through the program. They have not only supported her, but have guided her through her milestones as well as educated her. Ms. Frida, Ms. Jacky, Ms. Maylee, Ms. Anna, Ms. Z, Ms. Zeba, Ms. Aimee, Ms. Isabella, Ms. Noelle, and countless others are incredible educators. I couldn't be more grateful for all they have done and continue to do for my daughter.

Hi Nicole! & Owner I just wanted to drop by and leave a…read morereview as told for your clients and future clients so they can see how you go to other facilities website and leave reviews to boost the stars up. She's a fraud. If a parent/sibling/aunt/uncle/grandmother& grandfather or a friend leaves a concern about a facility that isn't treating any child with special needs right, THEY HAVE A RIGHT to leave and & express the concern about the facility. For you to write a comment a day ago should be illegal. You should be ashamed of yourself and also the OWNERS for allowing you to do what you did. I do want to be complete honest, Nicole is the rudest director ever. This facility is a dump and they fake the funk all the way with the parents. Smile & then talk behind their backs in reference about their children. If I was you, I would be cautious about putting my kids into this daycare or wherever Nicole is. ;)

This daycare center is the worst I've ever encountered in my 42 years as a mother of three. It's…read morecompletely unprofessional, lacking in quality and sympathy. If you have a child who doesn't move or speak, maybe this place is fine, but for my active son, paying over $1800 a month feels like throwing money away for a daycare that seems clueless about how to manage a child. After two consecutive days on 5/27--telling me I had half an hour to pick him up because he was climbing on furniture, which is typical kid behavior. I had to pull him out. My 18-month-old son faced discrimination from both the director and the regional director because of his special needs--he has a speech delay and is already receiving early intervention. When I took my first tour on 1/23, I explained all of my son's needs in great detail, and Victoria assured me that there would be no problem, that it was normal for his age. On the second tour on 3/11 with Rosie, I reiterated my son's needs, and once again, they said it was normal. Even uploaded and provided my son early intervention evaluation But when he started on 4/1, I received constant complaints. I was called on 4/3, 4/7, and 4/14 about minor incidents like biting another child, without anyone witnessing what actually happened. On 4/16, they reported he was running around and tried to bite a teacher's finger, and on 4/23, he hurt himself by slipping. Then on 5/5, he bit another child again without anyone clarifying the situation. That same day, they told me he put his hand in the toilet. This center has cornered me into providing documentation from doctors who have no clue what they're being asked for, since it's inappropriate for his age. They don't work with parents to help teach the kids; it's incredibly frustrating. Also when stuff happens to my son no report was given nor anyone knew what happened. Requested report from manager and still nothing.

Having over 15 years experience in the…read morechild care industry, I know just how crucial it is to have the right people in place to create a wonderful environment for children, their parents and staff. This particular location is independently owned and operated by Alicia Antoine who is extremely experienced, having run another TLE location for 8 years and being a mom of 3. She understands the needs of working parents since she is very involved and hands on herself, opening the center daily. She also used to be a teacher and is extremely supportive to her teaching team because she shares the same passion for providing quality care and education to children in the community. I truly couldn't have picked a better place to settle in my career. The facility itself is absolutely beautiful (you have to see it to believe it) and TLE's curriculum is hands down the most comprehensive educational program I've had the ability to work with. The curriculum and research development team ensures that each child is able to grow and develop independently while becoming caring members of society. It is because of this team that teachers are afforded the ability to focus their energy on being loving and nurturing caregivers while they execute the TLE curriculum created by corporate. At TLE of North Haledon, you honestly get the best of all worlds- a brand new school with beautiful amenities, an experienced and passionate owner, a comprehensive curriculum, and the most loving, nurturing staff. You'd be hard-pressed to find all of these unique qualities anywhere else, and I am grateful to be part of such an incredible school.
