Horrible place. They deserve to be shut down. I would be concerned to leave a dog there not to mention child. So unwelcoming, bored with jobs they do. Teacher student ratio is unacceptable. I went on a tour of this place over the summer. My then 15 month old absolutely loved it. From the security system in place to the level of attention the staff paid to the children, this place was stellar. My daughter literally just sat in with the kids. And even played in the gated playground. I really liked this place. It is really difficult to find a place you honestly and completely trust to care for your child. Maybe no such place exists. But this was close. I just can't afford $1400 a month. That's why I took a star. The middle class should be able to afford a place like this without risking foreclosure or eviction. read more

I've never seen a place with so many kids just sitting and staring with no laughter and no play. The place gave me anxiety just being there. Dry cold and no heart... all business. I definitely got no warm feeling plus everyone working there looked miserable. Sterile and cold. Definitely not where I will be sending my son. They didn't even care about my son... the whole interview not one question was about what's best for my son... all they did was read regulations and their policies. I love absolutely everything about lightbridge academy! From the administration to the teachers, there is no one there that doesn't completely love their jobs and love the children! I struggled for some time to find a child care facility that I felt comfortable with trusting my 2 year old with, but lightbridge academy eased every fear and concern I had! My son LOVED going to school and couldn't wait to see his teachers and friends. That fact alone was monumental in confirming for me that I had chosen the right childcare facility for my family. My son was cared for on a level that any parent would appreciate and he was challenged to learn and grow in so many ways! Ms. Sade, Ms. Lisa, and Ms. Vivianna will forever have a specia place in mine and my sons hearts for being such amazing teachers and caregivers! We love lightbridge academy! read more

I started my kid on this daycare because I was not happy with his current one. The difference is incredible!!!! My child is happy, doesn't get sick every week and just being able to see him walk to his teachers with such enthusiasm fills my heart with joy! He is learning so fast and having fun while doing it!!! I wish he can stay there until he graduates from High School! lol!!! (FREE IDEA THERE!) Lightbridge Academy in Clifton has hardworking, loyal and wonderful teachers who truly care about the children. The administrative staff is so warm and welcoming and open with communication. Would not recommend this place, felt like a soulless school,only business oriented people, had my kid there for even less than 2 months , my kid didn't feel any kind of attachment to any of his teachers . He was in "PURPLE CATS "classroom , plus they always have less teacher child ratio especially in morning time, there would be only one teacher for 7-8 kids, may be more , If your kid is crying while you are dropping him off, no one will be there to say ok You can leave , I will took over , as she is the one handling other kids!! I have to say my husband and i just love LightBridge My daughter started school for the first time in Sept 2016 and i was very nervous because she has always been with family. The directors made sure i felt comfortable and were very understanding. The teachers and aids are great. My daughter learned how to write her name 2 months after she just started and she is always so excited to attend school. i love getting detail daily reports on what she did with her day and along with pictures (she is 3)! I don't know where to start. My daughter simply loves going to school. I can tell during drop off and I when I pick her up. She is never upset about getting there and on our way home she amazes me with how she expresses what went on on a particular day. She's refers to her teachers with love and a closeness that brings our family so much peace. Her language keeps expanding daily both in English, Spanish and ASL in such a shocking way we are sometimes speechless and laugh at how quirky she can be. She comes home daily with projects and pictures they worked on and loves to explain what she did and that I should be proud. I am very thankful for this academy, for the care that my daughter is given daily. The concern her teachers have when she doesn't eat well, misbehaves, or just doesn't seem right; as well as their amazement when she does a wonderful job, is just a treasure to have. She has been in two different classrooms so far and the loving culture is seamless all throughout. Miss Susie at Orange Giraffes is the Potty Guru!! I have read comments about the price, but it is absolutely worth every penny. Wonderful place. I would recommend anyone to bring their little ones any time! read more

Both my kids go to this school and they both love it and learn so much. They staff is amazing. All the teachers know all the kids. This is the first school or place I left my kids and I fell very comfortable leaving my kids. Plus they have cameras so I was able to log on and watch them through out the day. Please don't be sold on their fancy brochures!!! When you go to tour the place just look around carefully. Look at the teachers, see if they look happy. All the teachers are overworked and underpaid here. Management doesn't know what they're doing and they are disrespectful to their staff. I did talk to many teachers who were complaining about how bad they were treated by management. My kids used to get sick a lot. The teachers took the kids to the hallway to play when the gym was occupied by another class. They were lazy to read to them or do arts and crafts with them. Multiple times I found my kids crawling in the dirty hallway when I went to pick them up. Be aware that this is a franchise, so the owners don't have to be experts in child care, and they are not... Most of the time they are not even on site. IF you want a caring, happy place for your child please keep looking. read more

My children both attended this school and we are beyond happy. The teachers are wonderful and truly care about the children. The school is very clean and well taken care of. Where do I start off by saying make sure Before you leave, you ask every possible question. They do not tell you all you need to know when it comes to a financial agreement. I walked out of here thinking my child was going to be enrolled within the time period I needed. But man was wrong, I still to this could not tell you what my grand total was to get my child started. I was also verbally bashed over the phone by the director of the facility that bc I wanted my son to be with the younger toddlers. It wasn't fair to the teacher or children in the classroom. Yeah I can see their point but my son also suffers from a syndrome and has speech delay with also never being a daycare setting. Maybe the missed information is how they get people to not come to their facility. Well that worked. I came there with a check in hand and all the paperwork signed and then still was not told and at least sat down with to go over the financial part of the schooling. So please ask before you leave. Because I would not want someone to go thru all I went thru with the Lightbridge Academy. I do also plan to file a complaint with the BBB. read more
