I could not recommend this center enough. This school has been a beacon of light for my children and I throughout the pandemic to the present. If we had not moved away, both of my children would have stayed in. When my oldest daughter started at Tiny Stars, she had just finished Early Intervention for a massive speech delay. She wasn't potty trained, and socially and emotionally I felt she was not ready for school. Ms. Lemma reassured me and took her in a heartbeat. Today, my oldest is empathetic beyond words, and expert speaker, reading in English and Spanish, writing beautifully, counting to a hundred with a grasp on adding and subtracting, and feels socially comfortable in any challenging situation. Through love and support, Tiny Stars completely morphed my mute and irritable daughter into this amazing Kindergartner that's ready to take the world by storm. To this day, I am amazed at the level of love, care, and patience that went into her schooling. My youngest daughter is a challenge for sure. She experienced a life altering trauma during her experience at Tiny Stars and became irritable and slightly aggressive. Rather than give up and suggest an alternate center, with the same love and care they gave to my oldest, they worked with her every day and helped her rebuild her confidence. They never once gave up on her despite the difficulty. She was accepted and nurtured in a way that settled any of my fears. If I could do it over again, I would still pick this school above all others. The education is phenomenal. The care is incredible. These teachers LOVE these children. They familiarize themselves with the parents, and it feels like picking the kids up from family every day rather than simply checking in and out of a center. Ms. Lemma's top priority is keeping those children safe and working with families to ensure the best outcome for the kids. I saw one review complaining about too many holidays/sick closures - I simply don't agree with that review. Ms. Lemma has done nothing but ensure that illness doesn't spread, and her methods are effective and appropriate. She managed to keep her center open and operating during a tough as nails pandemic and did an amazing job at containing outbreaks. The school is clean and well-guarded. In fact, it is nearly impenetrable. I always felt safe knowing that nobody could come in and hurt my kids. The tuition information was laid out in detail, and Ms. Lemma always worked with us in every circumstance that seemed not ideal. If you're considering Tiny Stars - go for it. You won't be disappointed. This school shapes futures and loves the children. You'd be making a great decision, and the pay off is worth it. Wish I could give more then 5 stars! The review from Mark J. is so full of it! Completely false. My child has been going to Tiny Stars Learning Center since she was 2 months old. I wouldn't place my baby in a center I didn't feel was safe, clean, or follows necessary precautions. When I came in for my tour, Miss Linda (Director) showed both myself and my husband a copy of the School Holiday Closure list. She also sends this through Remind (the app the learning center uses to communicate between parents and the Director) MANY times a year! To say you didn't know about the closures when the list is given to you in person as well as through an app to always look at it is completely FALSE! Nice try, Mark J.! Miss Linda follows all the CDC guidelines set forth and has navigated through Covid-19 with grace! I can't imagine working in a child care center (or hospital) and having to go through something so unknown, but Tiny Stars has been extremely clean, having Servepro come in to scrub the school down any time there was a closure. Speaking of closures, taking it out on the Director for a student coming down with Covid-19 is SO silly! She does not control what families do outside of the school setting! Her main priority is the safety of her staff and students who are enrolled, which ultimately means safety for the families too (yay!). All teachers here that my daughter has had so far have been so kind, nurturing and warm! My daughter has grown immensely in her time here (4 years so far). She came in a 2 month old, not knowing how to socialize, and has progressed into a smart young lady! She writes her name, can spell her name, knows colors and shapes and has a real thirst for learning more! I CANNOT thank Tiny Stars and their wonderful staff enough for putting in the work and turning my daughter into a little scholar! She has even started to read site words and practices during her bed time story every night! I'm absolutely amazed by what she has learned so far! We will be SOOOO sad once she graduates the Trans-K program next year, but knowing she will be more than ready for kindergarten is truly something! Thank you for instilling my daughter with a love for learning, boosting her confidence by encouraging her to ask questions when she doesn't know something and allowing her to be herself! I truly appreciate all Miss Linda does through out the year, whether it be a magician coming to the school for halloween, a petting zoo and ice cream truck during the summer months, or Santa coming to the school to visit around the Holiday's. Both of my children attended Tiny Stars and we have nothing but GREAT things to say about the daycare and preschool. Both of our kids thrived here! They came home showing us all they learned - letters, numbers, days/months, and even Spanish! The environment was also wonderful - both my kids got along great with the teachers and other kids in their classes which made coming to school all the more fun for them. The summer camp is also very fun- with water play, different themes each week and lots of wonderful activities such as a petting zoo, bubble show, etc. What I loved most was how much of a "family feel" the school was. All of the staff knew both of my daughters - even if they weren't in their classrooms. And Linda at the front office was ALWAYS available to chat about anything big or small. I cannot express how happy I am that my daughter is at tiny stars. The love and attention the teachers and staff show my daughter is wonderful. They truly care about watching the kids flourish while providing a safe environment. Being a working mom is hard and when I first started the journey to daycare with my Mia I was a nervous wreck. The director Ms.Linda put all my worries at ease. With such grace, she always was available for my many phone calls and assured me that my daughter was fine and adjusting well. We began to get her daily art projects which have been both adorable and educational. Since my daughter started we have seen a change in her with her communication. She is more expressive and beginning to speak full sentences and phrases at home! Thank you tiny stars for all your warmth and kindness. This daycare/childcare is truly a blessing. It is clean, the teachers and assistants are truly amazing and the Director really knows her stuff. She was even able to give me information to apply to 4C's and helped me every step of the way. My 3 year old is having an awesome time learning all she needs to know in order for her to have a successful experience in school. How many 3 year olds can recite the Pledge of Allegiance after one month in school? Mine can. Her verbal skills have been growing in leaps and bounds and her socialization skills are excelling. She is becoming a well rounded little girl who has such excitement every time she walks into Tiny Stars Learning Center. Thank you for providing my daughter an excellent foundation for learning! This is such a nice and friendly place. I have separation issues being this is my first child, but the amazing staff and director helped me work through those issues by reassuring me that my son is in good hands. I trust them wholeheartedly. My little guy is so happy to go to school and the projects they do with the children are totally amazing. This school is in a great location, tucked away from busy traffic and streets. The staff is professional warm and caring. Everyone is so friendly. The center itself is always clean and smells great! Wow, talk about a super place?!? Friendly, clean, warm, caring, nurturing, loving, educational, and fun place to leave your children. Just enrolled a few weeks ago and already see such an improvement in my 3-year-old. He is coming home talking about MLK, making snow, singing cute songs, and doing adorable fingerplays. I cannot wait to see what the rest of the school year has in store for him. My 3rd grader will be going to summer camp here for sure. My son have been going here to TSLC since Jan. When we signed him up 4 school, we no of all school policies nd had to sign sayin we understood each one. This include a 30 day written notice if we want to leave. Seeing bad reviews on here upsets me ESP when we all got the policies nd had to sign each 1. Special shout out 2 Miss Rosa for her love, devotion nd patience she shows with her class. My son love the gardening they do and eat his veggie to~ Miss Linda is very nice. We love coming here. Absolutely amazing, clean and friendly. Just found out they have an awesome summer camp program for ages up to 13 years old. Hands on activities, learning, fitness, and a carnival at the end of the summer. Will be passing this along to all friends I know that have children looking for a safe, clean, friendly learning environment. The director is so knowledgable and compassionate. I absolutely recommend this school. My two kids go here and absolutely love it. Everyday they wake up and want to go school and give no problems at all.
