I was hesitant at first to bring my daughter to Tiny Tiki after hear a few bad comments. I decided to check the place out for myself after looking at a few daycare's. The staff was about to leave when I walked in for a holiday break over the summer, but Ms. Donna welcomed me in to show me around. I was impressed with how clean each of the rooms were. They have hard wood floors throughout with the occasional area rug for children to sit and play or read. Each child has their own hook for their coats and backpacks. The infant room as a dedicated location for each child's belongings (Diapers, cups, snack, pacifiers, etc.) They have an outside location for the children to play during the warm weather. In the summer they do water play. Once a week the music teacher comes in and the kids have a blast. Tiny Tiki is a fun place to be. After a short discussion with my husband we decided to bring our daughter here. Day one was rough for me to leave my daughter at 3 months old, but Ms. Donna was quick to send me pictures of how happy she was throughout the day. Over a year later I can honestly say choosing Tiny Tiki was the best decision. My daughter is so happy to go to day care each day. She knows all the teachers and can say their names at almost 2 yrs old. They all care for each of the children as their own. There are even times when she cries because she doesn't want to leave. I never worry about her being there all day while my husband and I are at work. Keep up the great work! Thumbs up to Ms. Donna for running such a great school. read more

Really unprofessional daycare. One of the staff members constantly yells at the children and doesn't give them the attention and nurturing feeling that a child needs to feel comfortable in a daycare away from home. My child hated going to school because of this teacher and the director never seemed to care that she was screaming at and grabbing children forcefully. I would NOT recommend this school for that reason. read more

My son has be going to this school for two years and we just love it! He has learned so much. He looks forward to going to school everyday and I can't get him to leave at the end of the day. Before he leaves he has to say good-bye to each teacher and the director or we can't leave. He comes home and tells me all about his day with excitement, sings the songs he learns and loves to show me the work he has done that was in his folder. The school is clean, my son never gets sick, unlike my niece who is in another school and is always catching something. I am very happy with the school that I chose and I searched and investigated many schools prior to choosing this one. I am happy with my decision and so is my son which is most important. read more

As a parent I felt that I had to write this review in order to help other parents that are looking for a safe day care for their child. Parents, do not take your child here. I only had my child there 3 months before I removed here from this daycare. I have noticed that every time I drop my child off and pick her up she is in a high chair. No matter what time it is she is a high chair. She would cry when I dropped her off and cry the second she saw because she wanted to go home. Every time I pick her up she is filthy. Her clothes are cover in food and so was her face and hair. There have been a number of occasions where the food was in her ears and up her nose and no one had cleaned her up. This is unacceptable. I drop her off clean. I expect to pick her up clean. I noticed then none of the kids looked happy. They were always sitting at the table when I was there. They were never playing and the place always looked dirty. Maria, my daughter's teacher, has been dismissive of my questions and apathetic to my concerns. She is not friendly and she acts put out if I try to speak to her about any issues that my daughter is having such as teething or if she's not feeling well. As a parent I don't want to be ignored when it comes to a problem my child is having and I expect her teacher to listen and try to help. The day I decided to remove my child from this facility I went to pick up my daughter and the teacher was on the phone ordering Chinese food. There was a mop and a dirty bucket of water no more than 5 ft from where the children were sitting. My child was in the back of the room in a high chair eating a snack unsupervised. As I got closer to my child I noticed glitter all over her hands and in her mouth. No one cleaned her before giving her a snack. I was clearly upset but the teacher never got off the phone the entire time I was there to explain what had happened. I called the Director later that day and she listened to my concerns and was very apathetic and assured me that she would review the video in the room. Since then this teacher has been suspended but how long was this bad behavior going on and how many children were put at risk. And what else did the Director see on these tapes that lead this teacher to being suspended. To add insult to injury, I had already paid for 2 the first two weeks of the month and wanted a refund since I was forced to leave but the owner, Thomas Marrone, refused to call me directly even though I requested to speak to him and he has decided to keep my money. That is an outrage! He hired this women who allowed my child to eat glitter and yet I am being forced to pay for days I am not there?? He should be ashamed of himself and the way he treats his clients. My child is now at a new daycare and is doing great. It is amazing to see the difference in her and how happy she is in a safe, clean environment where the teachers actually care about their students. She doesn't want to come home at the end of the day because she is having so much fun. Tiny Tiki's staff, aside from the director, seems untrained and uninterested in the children's development. This is not a safe place for children so if you are looking for a day care I would think twice before sending your child here. read more

My son has been going to Tiny Tikis since he was a newborn. He absolutely loves it there and has so many friends that he can't wait to come see in the morning. The staff really works hard to educate the children in a way that makes it fun and exciting for them. My son is already writing his name all by himself and is starting to read simple words and do basic math, and hes not even in kindergarten yet! I'm so proud of him and the school for building his confidence and fostering a love for learning for my little man. read more
