When sitting at the bar you have the option to order a la carte instead of the prix fix meal. We opted for the carpaccio and lobster bao buns. They were so good that we ordered another one of each. The carpaccio was well prepared with a great balance of flavor with the few toppings. The bao is lightly toasted on the outside and it was almost like a lobster salad. The warm toasted bao and lobster was like a unique lobster roll. SO GOOD! Inside is like you are in outspace and you are at Disney so you know the theming is completely on point. Super clean and very unique environment. If you can get into sit at the bar - totally worth it!

The set menu has a lot of options as well as a lot of vegan options. Love the cocktails menu and the fancy space names associated with the drinks . The only thing I didn't really like is that the end table where we sat did not show earth but instead showed astronauts floating into space . Nonetheless, the best seats are the ones at the window area . Everything was flavorful and decadent. The desserts were amazingly sweet . Highly recommend this experience and closer to closing time ... it's a nice rest before you leave EPCOT.

Where's breakfast again?…read more Was that at Susan's? No. Daisy's? No. Minnie's? Oh! That's right! We're going to Olivia's Cafe for breakfast! And so we did. NOTES 1. Located in the main building of Disney's Old Key West Resort. As one might expect, it's very nautical themed. 2. We arrived before 9:00am, and thankfully the restaurant wasn't very crowded and we were seated immediately. Thanks to the lovely cast member that sat us in a both at the end. However, there were noticeably more people dining when we left. 3. We dined at Olivia's Cafe in November 2025 (yes, this review is a bit late), as we were guests of Old Key West. Our server introduced herself and gave us a few minutes to look over the menu. In the end, I chose the sombrero omelet, while my partner chose the Buttermilk Chicken with an add-on Mickey waffle. Our very own coffee carafe completed our meal. We liked the food honestly. There's no better way to express it. The portions were decent, and the food was delivered in a timely manner. Also, I thought the option of the adding the Mickey waffle was just magical. SERVICE Our server, Cara, provided outstanding customer service. We appreciated her patience, knowledge and expertise regarding the menu, as well as checking on us periodically throughout the meal. Well done, Cara! side NOTE Cara did explain to us that their breakfast potatoes were on the cheesier side of the dairy spectrum, and that it was not to the liking of some former customers/diners. And to be honest, the potatoes are mixed/tossed in cheese, but it wasn't like they were drenched IMHO. BOTTOM LINE A wonderful breakfast at Olivia's Cafe. Its a great breakfast option for guests at Old Key West. Recommended.

Old Key West Resort Restaurant -- Florida Vibes, Flavorless Food…read more This place really looks like Florida. The resort is called Old Key West, and you feel it the moment you walk in. Gorgeous setting. Now if only the food matched the atmosphere. --The Prime Rib-- The slow-cooked prime rib was flavorless and arrived lukewarm. The au jus wasn't much help either. Think beef broth with no seasoning and you're basically there. This looked, felt, and tasted dead. Not what you expect from a prime rib centerpiece. --The Chicken-- The Southernmost Buttermilk Chicken was OK--/emphasis on OK. But like the prime rib, the seasoning was an afterthought. Pass the salt and pepper if you want any flavor out of either dish. --The Dessert-- I took the server's recommendation and went with the Pineapple Mango Upside-Down Cake. Why did I listen? The presentation is beautiful. The taste did not keep up. Lesson learned. --The Drinks-- The Turtle Krawl was the bright spot of the meal. Think rum punch on a warm afternoon and you've got the right idea. It's a great treat...just don't expect it to rescue the food. --The Verdict-- Olivia's Cafe has the setting and the atmosphere locked in. The kitchen has some catching up to do. If you visit, plant yourself at the bar, order the Turtle Krawl, and temper your expectations before the entrée arrives.

When we ordered, we were also told they offer a military discount, which was definitely a nice surprise. After ordering, we were shown to our table and luckily there were enough seats for our whole family because the place was pretty busy. We went with the Butcher Board and got the street corn and sweet tots for our sides. The pulled pork, prime brisket, and smoked chicken were all cooked really well. I thought the meat could have used a little more seasoning, but they have a self-serve BBQ sauce station with different sauces, so we tried a few of those and they definitely helped add some extra flavor. Overall, I would definitely come here again.

The ordering process is simple, you place your order with the cashier at the front. During the dinner rush, expect a long line, but it moves at a steady pace. If you visit during off peak hours, ordering is much quicker. After placing your order, you find a table, and a server brings your food directly to you. For our meal, we ordered: Ribs - They had a rich smoky flavor with a perfectly seasoned dry rub, and the barbecue sauce added just the right amount of sweetness and tang. Brisket - The brisket was cooked perfectly with a flavorful bark on the outside and a moist, tender center. Every bite was packed with smoky goodness and melted in your mouth. Sliced Turkey - The sliced turkey was surprisingly moist and full of flavor. It had a light smoky taste and was anything but dry, making it an excellent choice alongside the other meats. What impressed me most was how quickly our food arrived, even with the restaurant being busy. Everything came out hot, fresh, and beautifully presented. The staff was friendly, the dining area was clean, and the overall atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. If you're visiting Disney Springs and craving quality barbecue without the wait of a table service restaurant, The Polite Pig is an excellent choice. I would definitely eat here again.

The carpet in the room majorly needs an upgrade, as do the bathrooms. Two bed rooms come with a queen and a full which is interesting - I wish it was just two queens. The queen feels more like full size and the full feels more like twin size. It's a tough share for two, even with littles. Rooms are also really small, like hard to find floor space for your suitcase small. All rooms are advertised to have balconies, and I think this is false advertising. It's a juliet balcony, just wide enough to step foot on. But otherwise, this was a solid hotel stay. If you opt not to do valet you can still park on hotel grounds and it's only a few minutes walk to the car. The pool area is very large with several different pools, a splash pad and a slide. There is also a lake to take boats out on. We didn't try this, but it's a fun amenity. You can also rent bikes, and there was a rock wall! The highlight of our stay was the hotel parrot, Merlot. My kids got a huge kick out of this on our way in and out each day. We didn't try and food or drink here, but they do have a few restaurants on the property. Overall, this hotel is nice enough. Especially if you are using Hyatt rewards. Oh, and most importantly it's only a few minutes drive from Disney, AND we saw the fireworks from our 'balcony'. Big win!

The resort offers a beautiful and gigantic pool, fitness center, rock climbing, bicycling, pitch golf, mini golf, pickleball, kayaking, canoeing, water bicycles, peddleboats, trails, a huge beach with hammocks and lounge chairs. The waterside is big and not just for children. Movies and smores at night! It's a stunning property with lush gardens and several restaurants. It is a short 2alj to the corner roads where there are also an abundance of restaurants and shops nearby. Disney springs is 1.5miles away by car or a 45min walk. The service is excellent and I enjoy the poolside foid and drink service. They have implemented a towel system to scan your room card and return when done using or if not returned there's a $25 fee per towel charged to your room. The cabanas are huge! There are 2 hot tubs, and 3 interconnected pools. The shallow pool towards the rock wall is quietest and warmest. The pools tend to be on the cooler side. Bid say for December they should be heated to at least 82. It felt like it was between 75-80. When the weather outside is around the same it gets chilly stepping out of the pool. We used the kayaking, golf and bike rentals. All which are included in your resort fee of $50per day. Such a fun place. I recommend to spend a few days to soley stay at the property to relax and enjoy all it offers. You never have to leave the resort.

LetterPress is the Hilton Buena Vista's marquee restaurant, offering breakfast, lunch, and dinner in a family friendly setting with nice touches. We made a reservation well in advance just in case but the place seems large enough where walking in shouldn't be much of an issue. After sitting down we got right back up as we opted for the breakfast buffet, which at $30 is an absolute steal. Let's get into what we got: We started off with carbs: pancakes and waffles. Both of which were okay with there being. A decent wait on the waffle machine. Unless you're craving either we would say it's not the best bet to stack up on. For meat they have a lot of options from bacon to pork sausage to chicken sausage. The bacon was alright and the pork sausage was the standard small ones you find just about everywhere; the chicken sausage though was delicious, a nice sweet flavor to it and large. They also have eggs and breakfast potatoes alongside the meat, the eggs being meh and the potatoes being pretty good. The better egg option is the omelette bar which is fantastic. There are probably about 20 different ingredients you can toss into them and it is well worth the wait. Oatmeal is another carb offered and that's self-serve so you can make it how you like. Many different pastries are also available so you can get a fix on your sweet tooth (all were pretty good). Last, for drinks we got chocolate milk, coffee, and juices from their self-serve juice machine. For that we got mango and apple juices. Again, for the price of $30 this is just an unbelievable deal, especially for families looking to get growing kids fed in as quick and convenient a place as possible. The added convenience of it being close to the pool and just downstairs adds another layer to it. While we can only testify to their breakfast buffet this does also look like a great option to take up on their actual menu. An excellent option for a quick, filling meal before exploring all the Disney Springs area has to offer!

But the dinner was delicious so if you are visiting the palace, definitely give Letterpress a try.

Initially on arrival I thought that the place was super small as you can only see one set of lanes, but shortly we realized there are way more lanes available on the second floor. There was a bit of a wait so we just wandered around the springs and other stores to pass the time. The staff that was on hand was good, but I should note there was a guy on the second floor about to clean a pair of shoes because he couldn't get help. The bowling was fun. The lane was cool. The space seemed a bit closer than I remember at other locations, but I could be wrong. The one thing that really did it for me was the greasy balls. Not just one or two, but you could feel it on all of them. You could tell that folks were eating and playing, but not cleaning their hands. There should be someone on staff just for that role because the grease on the balls took away from the feel of playing.
