I typically tend to mobile order through the MyDisney Experience app, so I went down the list and decided to open up the options for Flame Tree Barbecue. I went with the Half Chicken which was generous half bbq chicken portion with beans and coleslaw. It was exactly what I needed/wanted to get a more quality meal inside of me without breaking the bank at a table service restaurant. Pricing was very fair for it being Disney and for the quality. When I went to pick up my mobile order, the Cast Members were extremely friendly and a pleasure to interact with. The whole experience was 5-stars coming from a smaller quick service kiosk/stand in Animal Kingdom. I could have easily shared the platter with another person, but it was so good that I didn't need to. If you are in Animal Kingdom and looking for a tasty, affordable option that isn't your typical theme park food, Flame Tree Barbecue is a fantastic choice. There is a modest area of outdoor seating, but also a short walking distance away to other quick service places with indoor seating if you're trying to beat the Florida sun. Both were amazing! The bread service was a bit smaller than photos make it look and I would not recommend sharing with more than 3 people total. The bao buns were packed with flavor and our favorite item of the night. For entrees, we chose the butter chicken and beef tenderloin, two of the highest recommended items here. Both were amazing and melted in our mouths. My only wish is that the butter chicken offered more sauce and had rice instead of a samosa.
