I dug up the area I knew was leaking and found it was inside the skimmer, encased in concrete and out of my league for repair, so I yelped the project. Most places either didn't offer leak repair or started taking diagnostics, dye test, pressure test. $$$$$$ before a repair estimate. But not Belval. They were there that same day, listened to me and bid repair, plus all my other requests so I had options. I ended up getting everything done at once (skimmer replace, PebbleTech resurface and replace all the tiles) and the price was very competitive. Less than most wanted for just the resurface. Paul at Belval was great to work with. Him, his team, and all the sub-contractors were very polite, professional, and respectful of my property. I absolutely recommend this company for all your pool repair and resurface needs. Wish I had taken before pictures so you could see what it looked like before, but here is the after. But didn't come with anything to scoop the old sand out. ?? (He had already seen the equipment). I gave him something and watched him do the work. He told me my pool was super small (what does that have to do with anything?) so I said it is average size play pool: 13000 gals. When I stated the gallons, he acted surprised. But why did it even matter??? I didn't ask for his opinion on the size. ?? Then he told me our house was pretty small. Again ???? I told him is is 3,950 square feet and asked what does that has to do with my filter? He said he and his dad would be building NEW homes soon, because they 'do everything now'. Right...big talk from a short dude. In the end, he finished it and I paid him $350 for a one hour job at most. Which included 300 pounds of sand at a wholesale cost of around $100. Suffice it to say, this company isn't on my future list of people to use again, AND I have told Leslies that they shouldn't recommend them. Trent came out and quoted me an excellent price for monthly service a little over a year ago after I got the pool resurfaced and converted it to salt. Over a year later - and I have yet to have a single solitary issue with the quality of my pool cleaning service. My water chemistry is perfectly in balance, he has never failed to show up, and there hasn't been even a hint of an algae bloom. This is incredibly impressive, and I should know as I run the office for a pool service and construction company out of Scottsdale where I see the pitfalls from an insider's point of view as well as from our customer's point of view day in and day out. There is so much more to pool cleaning and water chemistry than the average pool owner will ever understand, or even want to bother with. As I had explained to Trenton after he arrived, my previous pool guy of four years had moved away. Trenton arrived and let me know that my the pool levels were great so he would just be adding some chemical to carry us over to the next cleaning and he would be emptying the baskets, skimming, and such. I said okay and headed inside. About 15 minutes after he left I received my bill of $84 for weekly service. I promptly paid it, thinking that the next time would be just as great as the first time. BOY WAS I WRONG!!! One week later (Thursday, June 16 2016), I couldn't tell you if Trenton or Cody showed up or not. I waited all day at home since I am a stay at home mom. At around 5 pm, I texted Trenton to ask if he had been out to service the pool. Here is his exact response... " I sent my technician Cody there today, I'm just waiting for his route sheet to be sent in. I believe he had to put in extra liquid along wit new chlorine tablets" To which I responded, " I was was just asking because my husband tested it (the pool) and all the numbers were low. He said he did find chloine tablets in there but he (my husband) had to add some liquid chorine himself." I did not get any more responses from Trenton, so I waited 48 hours to make sure that it was not because he was "just busy". After 48 hours of unreturned phone calls and text messages, I texted Trenton again with the following message... " Hi Good Afternoon, I am going to be needing a partial refund for the weeks that I prepaid for the service of my pool. There is algae starting to grow and the sides are not clean at all. The first cleaning was spectacular, but the second was quite disappointing. Please advise me as to when I should b expecting the refund into my account before I confirm it with my bank. I waited for a response from you but have yet to hear back. Thank you and have a great weekend. Please do not step foot on my property again." Trenton finally replied, " I'll be sending you a check on Monday (6/20)" I have yet to receive my refund after waiting almost 10 business days, which is rediculous since even if the mail man walked from this business to my home, it would surely take less than 10 days. I am so incredibly upset with this shady and unprofessional company. I have now decided to make a claim with my financial institution. Why? BECAUSE TRENTON BLOCKED MY PHONE NUMBER AFTER I REQUESTED MY REFUND. Yes, I paid for service. Did not receive said service and then was blocked by the owner of the company because he did not want to return the money I was rightfully owed. BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY!! Use them at your own risk. Now this weekend is 4 of July weekend and I surely won't be swimming. Beyond disappointed with this one.

Several years ago, I thought I had a pool leak, and hired a leak detective to come out. He didn't detect a leak, but he gave me great advice on the need to change the position of my hose line to reach more of the pool, and recommended one of the Elliotts. I originally hired them to come and repipe the pool and change the line- they did such a fantastic job, I hired for my regular service which was a different son. That son closed up shop over a year ago, and his dad, Marty, who taught he and his brother everything they knew, took over my account. Marty is wonderful. He or a member of his team service my pool every week. I have trouble with mustard algae because of my palm trees, but over the winter they've been treating it more aggressively, and my pool has literally never looked better. I pay $135/month which feels fair- they take care of my chlorine and charge extra if they have to replace a part (or for the mustard algae treatments). I am very grateful to have been referred to Elliott Pool Service years ago and hope I have them for the long run!

Mike and his crew did an excellent job fixing our 50-year-old pool. They were prompt, professional,…read more and very fast. His pool electrician replaced our older set up with a new T1000 power center and even put in a new pool light junction box, all in an afternoon! Mike replaced our old pump, rebuilt the equipment slab, and reconfigured the plumbing to ensure better flow and separation between the backwash and pump motor. He even helped us fix our skimmer and aerator. All of his work was completed in an afternoon. We highly recommend AZ Pool Master for maintenance, advice, and electrical work.
