Keep in mind, haven't been there in 21 years haven't driven any car to the hotel going by the coasters to get to our place to stay and wow was it worth it. The cabins were amazing and we stayed at room 150 (at the time of making this review the park has been around for 150 years so ironic I know) but seeing Magnum XL 200's turnaround as you leave the cabin was awesome especially when it was testing before the park opening. Beds were nice and comfortable and I wish I would've known about this place sooner than later. If you can't do hotel breakers but want to do a little more, high recommend Lighthouse Point

The chairs outside needed to be cleaned as they were filthy and moldy. When we opened the door it seemed like the housekeepers had come in to clean out but didn't add any shampoo, conditioner and body wash in the shower. There was no hair dryer. There were no cups, there was nothing extra but towels. And we spent three nights. The mattresses were lumpy. It was crappy enough sleeping on a double bed but the mattresses were all terrible. This is supposed to be the Mecca in the USA for coaster fanatics. And yes, we have been all over the USA to ride coasters and check out all sizes of parks. This was pretty much the worst place we have ever stayed in property. The food was pretty awful as well js. When you play with the big boys you have to keep up with the big boys and this is not keeping up. SMH. Loved the view.

When we arrived, we were told there was an issue with the spot we had reserved so they would be putting us in a different spot. That spot would not work for our needs so they offered a different site again. While driving to the new spot, we saw someone else camping in the spot we had initially reserved! We tried but The spot offered didn't really fit our rig so we just decided to move on. They were very kind and offered a refund. The grounds looked well kept and peaceful. I know it can be difficult to hire "good help" but it's quite frustrating when they are disorganized in a fashion that creates these types of issues for the customers.

Everyone works as a team and they take pride in there work. They have 2 pools and a new splash pad. They also have bicycles to ride and a zip line for small kids. Also included is putt putt golf, jumping pillows, basketball courts and 4 playgrounds for kids to play on. They have a big store and cafe that serves food and icecream and they also have cabins and brand new yurts to rent for those that don't own there own campers. The welcome center seemed brand new and was really well done, with a small museum, plus access to the campground and tons of cabins available to rent. The hiking here is incredible. We did the Hemlock Gorge Trail, and it was just the right level of challenge while still being super enjoyable. The scenery was beautiful the entire way. I also highly recommend checking out the Little and Big Lyons waterfalls. It made for a great loop trail and was definitely a highlight. The park itself is very well maintained. We visited right after some heavy winds, so there were quite a few downed trees, but maintenance was already out there actively clearing and fixing things, which was impressive to see. Overall, such a beautiful park and a trip full of unforgettable memories.
