This is a 45 minute tour/ride and cost is $50 per adult and $45 for children up to age 10. This airboat is owned by a husband and wife. Definitely recommend to call ahead and schedule a ride time. There are a total of 6 seats available for passengers or if you don't mind sitting on ground you can add more. Each chair has a handle to hold onto to and noise cancelling headphones are provided as air boats are very loud. Definitely recommend bringing a spare set of clothes as you will get wet. What an absolute blast this was. You totally need to check it out next time you're in Sandusky. I felt like I was a rock gliding across the water. Man oh man was this totally worth the drive!!

A bottle of water and binoculars were all we needed. There are several American bald Eagle nest along the way, and we got to see the adults and some young fledglings. Tom, the owner, was the tour guide. He was so knowledgeable about the birds, the Huron area, and nature in general. The bicycle seats are a bit uncomfortable; however he is removing them and putting in comfortable swivel seats after this season ends in October. I would like to come back next spring or fall to see the different seasons.

We were lucky we didn't get stuck in Times Square Saturday night with the flat tire, we'd probably still be there! Our driver Al was the BEST! You should see the way he drove in Manhattan with all the traffic and pedestrians. He could maneuver our coach down a one way street between a parked catering truck and a big box truck! Russ our tour guide was fabulous as well. Very personable, informative and all around fun. Once I recover from this trip I'm going to look up another destination with this duo. Took the family to African Safari Wildlife Park and it did NOT disappoint. The kids loved feeding…read morethe animals right from the car--honestly felt like we were in a safari (minus the plane ticket ). Animals were super active and came right up to us. There were so many animals that we got to see and feed! We didn't get to see the giraffes because it was still quite cold outside, so they need to stay in the warm. After the drive thru they had a really cool walk through part with load of other animals. We got to feed a turtle, goats, coy and even birds! They had tons of feeding experiences and lots of other animal to see. It was a really fun time and great for the kiddo. We will definitely be back!

Marblehead Lighthouse State Park is a great spot for a relaxing and scenic visit along Lake Erie…read more We went last weekend and were able to tour the lighthouse, which was definitely worth it. Admission was $5 per person, and kids 5 and under were free. The volunteers were friendly and shared a brief but interesting history of the lighthouse and how it's been used over the years. Once inside, be ready for a bit of a climb as there are 77 narrow spiral steps leading up to an outdoor observation area. The view is worth it to see beautiful sights of Lake Erie. Even if it's not that clear of a day, you can still see Cedar Point and the Lake Erie islands in the distance. The park itself is very well maintained and offers easy access to the shoreline while still feeling safe and family-friendly. It's a peaceful place to sit, relax, and enjoy the lake breeze and sounds. Definitely worth a stop if you're in the area.

It was, without any comparison, the worse experience with travel, of my adult life. On the Ohio…read moreend, Amtrak employees were completely absent. The station was locked. There were no signs, posted information, no employees to explain train traveling to those with questions, nothing. We got there, and just hoped we were in the right place. It was very nerve wracking. On the Chicago end, forget about it. The employees in the station were rude, unhelpful, arrogant and acted like everything about train travel should have been common knowledge--- "what do you mean you don't know the train starts boarding 30-45 minutes before it is scheduled to leave?" There is no information on the app, none of this is printed on the ticket-- My Aunt handed her ticket to the baggage agent and asked him to please show her where it was explained that her bags had to be checked an hour before boarding; he started reading... his response, "well, it's not clearly stated here, ma'm, but, if you go online ( he circled the website) it will explain all this information." Seriously? Does Amtrak not know they can clearly post all this information IN THE STATION? SOMEWHERE? How about posting all the cities the trains, boarding from each gate, are going to make stops at? "Gate C " Train stops at: South Bend, Indiana, Waterloo, Indiana, This town, Indiana, Toledo, Ohio Sandusky, Ohio Etc." Instead, my daughter and I got downstairs and stoped at the gate that read, "Gates, A, B, C, and D." We thought, okay, this is our line. We stood in that line for about 10 minutes before my daughter realized we were in the wrong place... again, no one in a uniform to ask, and we ran to the other gate C, only to be told by a very rude employee, "Sorry, Ma'm we just closed boarding for this train." Insert SSSSSCCCCCRRREEAAAMMMMMM, here. An image of me punching him dead in the face flashed through my mind. Never again. NEVER. We paid $74 more dollars, waited 3 more hours, and finally got on the 9:30 pm train. Where we FROZE. "Holy Icebox, Batman, we have to help these human popsicles!" Our train car was so cold, people started taking their bags down from the overhead, and putting on clothes over the clothes they were wearing PLUS their blankets. We asked a conductor about it, he said "i'll see if I can turn it down". Apparently, he meant it, because it seemed to get even colder as the night wore on. My bones hurt! It was horrible. My daughter and I were holding each other, while curled up, in our seats, for warmth. I don't know how people travel this way. Even if this was just a one-off for Amtrak, it was such a magnificently bad one, that I will never, willingly, schedule another train trip. Horse and buggy would be better. Motorcycle would be better. TRICYCLES would be better. Nothing, nothing, NOTHING, even comes close to reaching the level of sheer ineptitude and madness that Amtrak occupies. My husband's assessment, there is a reason Amtrak is going bankrupt. I don't know, maybe I'll see if there are any zeppelins heading my way, next time I want to take a trip, to Chicago.

My husband and I were impressed with the quality and diversity of the regional wines. Dick Ries led our tour and was OUTSTANDING! Informative and engaged and charming! He was knowledgeable across the board and was connected with the staff and operations at each of our stops. We've done lots of wine tastings and tours over the years and I was wondering if I'd learn anything new AND I DID! The packet they provided for the tour was excellent and VERY useful and informative. It was a beautiful day and the wineries were gorgeous and treated us like royalty. It was a treat to be delivered to each location and to just sit back and enjoy the ride. I really can't say enough good things about this thoroughly enjoyable experience! We hope to return to the area to take the Western wineries' tour. Thank you, Rick, for a GREAT afternoon!!

Great safety record, nice little Robinson 4 seater. 2 man min to go for a ride. They also offer the $100 per man super ride but I didn't go for it. Always wanted to ride in a chopper, magnum pi style and this sure fit the bill. I'm guessing the pilot was a military man, great dude and fine pilot. Felt very safe and yet was hyperventilating from the excitement. U can feel the wind up there, views for miles!! Do it, it's a blast and so easy. If u see the chopper just grab a date and go up and book!! Once in a lifetime thing!!!! Love it 5 stars.
