Nicole definitely knew what she was doing! I did the 60 min deep tissue. She was very strong and attentive. She immediately found all my knots and some tight spots I didn't even know about. She recommended next time to do 90min and that I would see the best therapeutic results with a massage every 2 weeks. I would come back again and see Nicole! I do wish there was less sound bleeding and maybe the ability to turn the lights down lower/music up a little, but otherwise I had a great experience.

I go to a small private gym nearby, and because many of us train hard and regularly need massages for recovery, I've had good experiences at Serenity Spa in the past and felt comfortable recommending this location to several people from my gym. Unfortunately, one of the people I recommended it to recently went with her daughter for a mother-daughter spa day, which was especially disappointing because it was her daughter's first spa experience. According to my friend, during their massages, one of the therapists was repeatedly coughing throughout the service and was also passing gas multiple times. On top of that, one of the therapists was about 10 minutes late to the appointment, yet the session was not extended or otherwise made up for. When you pay for a service for a specific amount of time, I would expect to receive the full amount of time that was purchased. I completely understand that unexpected things can happen, but the combination of the therapist being late, the shortened service, and the overall lack of professionalism made the experience extremely uncomfortable and disappointing. It's especially disappointing to hear this after I had personally recommended the spa based on my previous positive experiences. Unfortunately, if this is the level of professionalism and service being provided, I can no longer confidently recommend this location to others.

When…read moreI began acupuncture in October 2024, my high blood pressure was 192/97 and I was dealing with low range of motion and pain in my right shoulder due to pulled/strained muscles. I had recently weaned myself off high blood pressure medication because of non-stop persistent coughing, and I was really scared. Dr. Shawne and her staff was very compassionate and listened to my concerns. Dr. Shawne assured me that with acupuncture, excercise, meditation, tai chi, and diet, my situation would improve. She also ordered a vitamin routine for me, which I began immediately. I continued with my acupunture treatments until the end of January 2025, when my high blood pressure reached l35/64, and my range of motion became normal. The room lights were dim, so I was easily relaxed. The flooring was very dated, you could see where the slats didn't touch, etc. The same woman who greeted me was the one who provided my service. She offered me varying pillows to be comfortable. She addressed all main areas, though I will say she was very heavy with elbow use and concentrated a lot on my shoulders. Perhaps I had knots, but it wasn't explained nor was I asked about areas of my concern. The hot stones were def hot, almost startling at first touch, but after the initial shock went away it really melted my sore muscles. The only thing I really didn't care for is that she left the room door fully open during the hot stone use. Despite some shortcomings, I think I will visit at least one or two more times to determine if my opinion may change. Their prices are great, location is convenient for me, and I could try to communicate more/better too.
