This truffle egg is one of the best things I've ever eaten. Shaved truffles, truffle, cream, and caviar. With a little bit of shaved ginger. Next level. Need this again in my life. The server Leila on Patio is the best and sweetest and funniest . Oui Montmartre!

Came here for dinner before going to watch the show at Moulin Rouge. It's only about a 10min footwalk away. The setting was really lovely. Classic french bistro/brasserie style. Nicely decorated for the christmas time. Felt very warm and cosy. We had a reservation - which was good, the place was packed. Got a nice table and ordered some starters. Six oysters and a backed camembert with sliced truffles. The oysters were nice. Really tender, creamy. And very fresh. The camembert was amazing as well. Good quality cheese, nice load of truffles. Topped with nuts and honey. A great combination. For the mains we ordered the Boeuf bourguignon and the "Saucisse Maison" (homemade sausage) with mashed potatoes. The boeuf (beef) was great. So tender, you could cut it with a spoon. Rich, heavy and creamy bourguignon sauce. Good stuff. The sausage was ok. It probably had some offals in it - which I like this way. Taste-wise a good sausage. But it was just too dry sadly. We had a bottle of Rosé with from the Provence. Great wine for a good price. Provence always has tasty Rosé wines. The bus-boy was a friendly chap. Really took care of us nicely. But the other two service-staff could have been nicer and friendlier. Ok, it was busy and all. But compared to other restaurants it lacked a bit of friendliness. Paid about 150 Euros. Which is ok and fair enough for a night like this and a city like Paris.

Very friendly service and very good food. My mocktail was also good but a little too sweet. Highly recommend the quinoa bowl with salmon!

Our server was so nice! As an American traveling to Paris for the first time, the ambiance of this restaurant was exquisite. The outside is beautiful, with all its flowers. Inside, the dim lights and table settings creates a wonderful ambiance for a late night dinner. My sisters, niece, and I ordered the asparagus risotto, seafood truffle, steak, thai chicken, and crepe with bananas and Nutella. Our server recommended a delicious wine and fruit beverage. They were all so nice and offered to take pictures of us. Definitely a must try!

Ordered frog legs, escargot, croque monsieur and beef bourguignon. All were excellent (I've not had frog legs before and am not crazy about the taste, but that's not Vrai's fault...the sauce was as good as could be for this dish). Escargot was tasty and plump. Croque was flavorful, as was the beef. Prices were very fair. Service was fine for Paris...not great but not rude. Cute place inside and out...Instagrammable.

I stumbled upon this place while I was in town for Moulin Rouge. The peonies outside caught my attention (they are my favorite flower - the owner did say they were cherry blossoms. They were not lol but I didn't correct her). We were seated immediately and our waitress was very kind. She explained the menu and was very honest in recommendations. I really appreciated that. The wine was really got that we deleted and the dishes were a good size. I preferred my moms salmon pasta over my truffle. The waitress did warn me about the taste but I made the choice to give it a go anyways. When in Paris right! I didn't hate it. The smell was just a little too strong for my liking. My father was a fan of it so finished off what I didn't eat. The desert was my favorite part. The creme brûlée was PHENOMENAL. I scraped the entire dish dry. It was cooked to perfection. If you're looking for a spot to eat near the show. This place isn't a trap with is cute decor. The food is good.

I was ready to write this place off as another tourist trap, but I was pleasantly-surprised to find the food and service to be better than expected. My friends and I came across le Vrai Paris by chance while in Montmartre, and we decided to have lunch here. It's a picturesque spot that really makes you feel like you're living the "Parisian dream." Menu options were fairly large, and I opted for the quinoa bowl with salmon. I was very surprised to find large portions, with a generous amount of sliced avocado on the side. Food tasted fresh, too. Prices are high, but that's the drawback to being in Paris (especially in a touristy spot like Montmartre). Service was friendly enough, even if we'd gone at rush hour. Even if you don't plan to eat at le Vrai Paris, a photo of it outside in good enough!

Le Vrai Paris is right in the middle of the Abbesses Montmartre area. A beautiful area popular with tourists and locals alike. Le Vrai has the looks, the French food and the very quick service. Drinks are a bit expensive when you consider the exchange rate. Remember it is always best to speak some French even if it is to get a quick laugh. Parlez vous anglais (parlay voo onglaa) do you speak English? This place is also popular on Instagram because of multi demensional floral arrangement that drape over the restaurant. Give this place a try.

Stopped here after visiting Sacre Coeur because the outside was too cute not to stop. My friend and I were seated immediately but were not served for at least 30 Minutes. The server outside literally walked circles around us. We got to that point where we wanted to leave but had waited so long we felt stupid for getting up and leaving. When the server finally came we ordered breakfast and coffee. The food was definitely lacking in flavor and quality. My friends food and my crepe came out cold but we couldn't flag down the server after it was delivered to explain. We were so hungry we ate it, paid for our over priced food and left. Terrible place, picturesque location. Would have given it zero stars if the location wasn't so cute.

The drinks were great! The service was just okay. Nothing to brag about, I had ordered dome ravioli. It looked one big sticky mess. My husband ordered the duck but it tasted different than other ducks we've eaten before. This one tasted like steak and was clearly overdone.

Perhaps the bar used to share the kitchen with the restaurant upstairs, but this did not appear to be the case during our visit in September 2016. My husband, sister and I visited Verjus with the hopes of enjoying a bottle or two of wine as well as some heavy tapas. When I mentioned seeing the tapas menu the bartender got confused and said they only offer a small selection of cheese and charcuterie at the bar, but nothing cooked. We attempted to make a reservation at the restaurant upstairs, but unfortunately they were booked solid. We each ordered a glass of wine and split several plates of prosciutto and cheese at the bar. Everything was nice, but we were looking for dinner and the bar was a bit warmer than I would have preferred so after we finished our wine and cheese we ventured off elsewhere. This tiny wine bar is very charming spot to grab a glass of wine, but don't expect to find any tapas here.

At first I was a little bummed about not being able to dine at the restaurant upstairs, but the wine bar was FANTASTIC! Here's what we ordered, with the best being at the top of the list. 1. The GNOCCHI was to die for...the pieces were small and ever-so-slightly crispy on the outside. 2. The SPICY FRIED CHICKEN (yes, we order manfood staples when my bf is with me) was so juicy on the inside yet crispy on the outside. The chicken was bursting with flavor. 3. The FLANK STEAK with CHIMICHURRI sauce was surprisingly tender and flavorful. 4. We also had the CELERY ROOT GYOZA. This was hands down the best food that we had in Paris. I can only imagine what the upstairs restaurant serves! The bartender was super cool and was helpful in recommending wine pairings with our food. She poured samples to make sure that we were happy with our wine selections. She also speaks perfectly good English if you're wondering! Thank you yelp for helping us pick out a fantastic restaurant to end our week in Paris. Merci beaucoup!

For main course I had the pork ribs which were so juicy and had crispy skin, although the sauce was a little bit sweeter than I prefer. The mashed potatoes were to die for though! Others in the party tried the beef bourguignon which was incredibly tender and deliciously seasoned. I think the least favorite was the tomato tarte appetizer which was too sweet for our American palettes. Everything else was so delectable but the standout of the evening was the frog legs appetizer. They were perfectly cooked, delicately garlicky and crisped to perfection! Hands down the best frogs legs I have ever had! We ended up going with Ava and her boyfriend Yassine, lining up after dinner, around 10:30 on a Friday night. There was a small crowd waiting outside, and it took us about a half hour to get in. The place was fun and busy, and as charming as I remembered. We got seated in a loungey upstairs area and received excellent table service. There was free popcorn and even a complimentary round of welcome drinks, a strong mini cocktail of Gentian and peated whiskey. The menu had changed over completely since my first visit. The cocktail offerings were printed onto thick printed leaves arranged on metal branches, forming a cool little tree centerpiece that replaced a paper menu (there was also a more detailed menu available online). Several of the cocktails were labeled with raindrops, indicating they were available as mocktails--helpful for Yassine, who doesn't drink alcohol. Matt and I shared two rounds, sampling a good chunk of this new menu. Everything was delicious. The Carbone was a bright, interesting cocktail made with beetroot, black garlic, Origin smoked gin, and Dartigalongue Un-Oaked, served with a cube of frozen yogurt that melted lushly into the beet-red drink. The Serre Solaire was smooth and boozy, with black tea, green walnut and milk, Cointreau, and Rémy Martin cognac. The Résilience was a highbrow tropical cocktail, with sorghum, pineapple sage, Pasquet cognac, and Savanna rum. The Permaculture was creative and flavorful, with chestnut, butter, wakame umeshu, and Avallen Calvados. I also tried a sip of Ava's Aquaponie, a light, juicy vodka drink with basil, lemon and sweet clover, St. Germain, and Grey Goose. I love Little Red Door and I'm glad I got to visit a second time and share it with my husband. We do live kind of far away, but I hope a third visit is in the cards.
