I wish this bar was in my hometown! I loved it that much! Nice Late night spot. Great music, good drinks, wonderful service! It made me love Paris even more! Visited Dec. 2021.

Lulu White was recommended to me by a local friend and boy were they spot on. It's a quaint, dimly lit cocktail bar that serves up some epic cocktails. If you happen to be there on the right evening there's live music (generally jazz as I'm told) and we happened to luck out! The bartending staff seemed super close and their joy for the craft came out in every cocktail. We had some great conversations with the team as they don't get a lot of Americans in there. I had a couple martinis and one of the signature cocktails and it was all fantastic! Highly recommend if you're in the Pigale/Montemarte area and want a pre dinner drink. It's also a great place for a date, super posh.

Rori and Ben were a hoot! The patrons, I don't know if they were regulars, passerby's or just tourist like us but the bartenders (Rori & Ben) make you feel right at home! They talked to everyone, kept the drinks rolling (I only had one for the sake of trying something) but my friend's indulged in 2-3 a piece. There is a mirror on the ceiling and lil weird man dolls splayed throughout the bar. It was a bit hard to find, but once inside you don't want to leave!

Excellent, unique, interesting & inventive cocktails & ambience! Great music played over the sound system. Cozy space (read small but comfortable). Delightful staff. Live music on some nights. The emphasis is on absinthe but the menu offers many other options. Also some solid American Bourbon & Rye selections compared to most Parisian cocktail bars. This is exactly what I seek in a cocktail bat.

We stumbled upon Lulu White by sheer luck... strolling down the street we heard the amazing sounds of jazz and decided to pop in... boy we were lucky we did. Turns out this place is 1 of 7 most intriguing speakeasy's in the world according to a CNN travel article... as well as Thrillist. Another reviewer mentioned that this feels like going back in time - just as in the movie Midnight in Paris (one of my favorite films) and I'd I agree 1000%. I just loved this place - my greatest regret is finding it on my last night there and not having more time to soak it all in... don't worry though - I'll be back!

The truth is, some of the most alluring and magical spots in Paris these days are not owned by French people. It's the foreigners who are bringing their craft cocktail bars and laptop-friendly coffeeshops to France, shaking things up, quite literally. I've got no problem with classic wine bars and brasseries, but after a few days of the "traditional" French experience, I was craving something less predictable... Lulu White is a perfect example. It feels more Brooklyn or New Orleans than Paris, with it's slushy cocktails ($11-14) and classic rock soundtrack. It's not just dim but DARK, with tiny booths and tucked away tables for a close-talking date. Our waiter described each cocktail to us in poetic detail, and we agonized over our decisions. In the end, the girls had Lulu's Fizz, a simple champagne quaff with an aftertaste of Flintstone vitamins (how's that for poetic?). The boys had some fancy artisan beers, a bit pricey but delicious. The place is tiny, so you'll need some luck to get a seat or booth. Arrive early or very late for the best chances. We loved the laid-back vibe, upscale drinks, and passionate servers. Lulu is a real treat, even for a jaded SF cocktail drinker like myself.

Just woke up from what was supposed to be a nap thinking about our favorite (that we went to every night we were there) local (to our hotel) bar! Mike, Juliette, and the general manager Olivia treated us with such hospitality, it kept us coming back- definitely an A+! Mike told us that Lulu White was a real Nola brothel madame owner and all the drinks (many of them absinthe based) are based off her ladies... & the drinks they made us off menu were phenomenal as well including our fav, the French 75 made the traditional way with Cognac! They had live music on Friday and Sunday night and the vibes in the quaint bar were absolutely amazing, thanks for making us feel welcomed!

This is for sure my favourite cocktail bar in Paris! The drinks are very good there's not a single one that i've tried and not liked. The decoration and atmosphere of it is amazing very cosy, New Orleans style and the music makes you wanna dance dance dance! The people that work there are the friendliest of all always with a smile and giving great advises on drinks. I would recommend: Good neighbour, Vieuville and knocking on the wood (my friend got addicted to it)

Love this place. Get here early and grab a table near the front to see the live jazz band.

Overall I had an excellent and amazing time here! I went here for the first time for Fat Tuesday not knowing this was a new orlean themed bar! My friends and I were in for a treat! We walked in as they were hosting a small band playing jazz. The music was amazing! Everyone was sad once they were packing up ! But boy! Let me tell you!! The party was just getting started! The bartender turned on the strobe light and the rest was history! Wow, the cocktail were complex, interesting and unique. The NOLA Classic themed cocktails this night were very yummy. I did choose one cocktail i did not like and the lady waitress was very pleasant and friendly to tell the male bartender to change the drink completely.. he made me a whiskey mojito instead to his request and creativity! It was delicious! My Parisian friends never visited this bar before and was very impressed By recommendation I made! I will say the bar is a little small but it can easily accommodate around 45-50 people . Shout out to the black male bartender-- he can even sing! He made this bar very lively and fun! Lol & shoutout to the petite English speaking lady waitress! You were the best! At the end of the night, I had to personally thank and give praise to the "Two man Team" serving up 40 people effortlessly and with speedy service! They are a dream team! I will come back to this bar every time I visit Paris!

Only thing missing would be either a live jazz band or a jazz soundtrack versus the rock and roll they seem to go with.

If you're in the area, do check this place out...it's also very central to so many other places in Paris, so it's a great place to start or finish at...I wouldn't make it THE place to go. We stumbled into Dr. Lupin looking for a quick night cap and eneded up spending the best part of 4 hours there. So: we walk in. The bloke behind the bar exclaims before we even sat down: "I have no idea how to make a cocktail! I'm just guarding the fort! I can pour a beer if thats what you want". "Sure". I notice something about Jack Daniels in the bar and casually mention a Lemmy... "Don't move! The real bar tender is a Motörhead fan!". Peter (I think that's his name, but I was hammered, so could well be Rudolph for all I remember), walks in and takes his place behind the bar. We start exchanging stories of how we met Lemmy back when he was immortal... Aaaaaand... it was all uphill from there on. We slap some Motörhead on the sound system, cranck it up to 11... and the rest is history. I did mention the best cocktails this side of Manhattan. Let me explain: 50ml of Gentleman Jack 20ml of maple syrup 2 dashes of angostura bitters Top off with stout or porter beer. Grate some Tonka bean on top That called a Lemmy Angel and it's MAGIC! You have to try the hot bloody mary too. If only to see the only known use of a flame thrower in the preparation of a cocktail. EPIC! Merci les amis. Ce fût une soirée mémorable!

He and some friends went to this bar and spent an afternoon there. When they went to pay, the proprietor asked if they could spare any food instead to feed his family. There was little food available to buy. They gave him their K-Rations, keeping just one to share amongst themselves that evening. So for us to return and find this fun, vibrant bar there was priceless. We had written the bar earlier and made reservations and he was as excited to welcome us as we were to be there. Top that off with great specialty drinks, including what had been my father's favorite! Limited food menu but it was tasty! Fun atmosphere and decor! Be sure you give it a try.

There's a fine line between doing something clever and unique and just being dumb; Gocce…read more(professor) crossed that line, in a modified Japanese sedan adorned with aircraft grade metal spoiler, while drifting, with the driver hanging halfway outside the car while subsequently hitting a curb, ejecting the occupants and injuring/maiming several bystanders. [Our server was the driver of this car. Turns out that car was her parents and she's in deep shit - as such her service reflected her mood perfectly.] Myself and 15 others made reservations for Gocce to celebrate a birthday. Upon entering we were seated in the deepest recesses of the back of the bar. The table for 15 made no sense, imagine a U-Shaped booth with 5 (yes 5) round brasserie tables crammed together and some additional chairs wedged directly against them. As people arrived we realized we're not going to get 15 people in here with these five tables. Also despite repeated (3 times) requests, the staff were unwilling to remove even one of the tables to provide us room to move and sit comfortably. From there things got worse. In our cave, we had no real light, instead we had candles on each of our five tables, while this did provide us the necessary "mood" lighting, we determined quickly that it wasn't a mood we wanted exposing, oh and it was Ducking hot! We were told at the outset when we ordered two bottles of beer that they had no additional beers available. During my inspection of the bookshelves while in search of a bathroom, I come back to see the same server giving fresh beers to other customers, when asked what gives, I was ignored. The toilet, that damned toilet - WHERE ARE YOU!?!?! Yes, the toilet is hidden behind a bookshelf that is not marked or labelled. My advice if you have to go urgently, walk outside and pee in front of the restaurant, that will be easier than locating the facilities. After suffering through this scene for nearly 40 minutes, I spoke with the birthday girl and we agreed to find another place. (Located just next door is an establishment called Chez Vous it's number 15 on the same street and was wonderful). Finally, adding insult to injury, we were given the bill. Wine was 11 euros per glass. Those elusive beers? Yes, 11 euros a bottle. And should you want a cocktail, fork over 13 euros.
