I was lucky enough to be seated in the first round of customers since I got there 15 minutes before seating. They do not have a reservation system and the wait can be a while after first seating since all the food come out one at a time for all groups. So think, if groups got a specific dish, they'd all get that dish and then the staff would work on the next one to serve, etc. The wine list is endless and there were so many options to try! Note: more bottles than single glasses but worth it considering the ambiance and conversations you can have! Staff is so patient and knowledgeable about the options and even let me try some before I made my decision! I tried 3 of the dishes available, the pork cheeks, the Agnolotti, and the Shrimp Toast. Everything was delicious and I still dream about that shrimp toast to this day. Wish I went with a group so we could try everything on the menu but this just means, I have to go again!

You know the food is going to be very authentic when you see that. We tried the French Onion soup with some baguette on the side. The soup was very flavorful and cheesy. We also love how affordable it is to buy a whole bottle of good quality wine at restaurants in Europe. We also ordered the Entrecote steak and it came with potato's. The waiters were very friendly and helpful with deciding on wine. The food came out quickly and and was very fresh. Overall i enjoyed the relaxed and family feel.

My first drink was the permaculture and while I was considered it would be strong, it didn't seem strong to me. I love clarified dairy in alcohol so this was a win in my book. It consists of chestnut, butter, wakaze umeshu, avallen Calvados. The bar let's you stay for an hour but if you sit elsewhere, you can stay as long as you want. 5 stars and I hope to come back someday!

The bar staff was extremely friendly and educated us on the history of the bar. Both bartenders spoke english and were from United States. It was explained to us that Lulu White was a brothel madam, that was concidered to have more power than the mayor of New Orleans during the late 1800s. Her brothel contained a "Blue Book" that allowed patrons to chose their companion via photos. The Lulu White bar, took this concept and allows you to chose your drink according to the individuals photographed in the "Blue book". We were told the individuals listed in the book change about every 6 months but the Lulu White drinks remains constant. I tried the Lulu White: Altos Anejo Tequila, Plymouth Gin, Genepi, Absentroux, and Cardamon noir. It came in a elegant beautiful glass and It tasted like a dry martini with a licorice flavor from the absinthe. This was definitley a drink you sip on to enjoy. The décor of the bar, resembled historical New Orleans with its dim lighting and elegant décor and half moon booth seating. This was a great surprise, and I recomment anyone to stop by and check it out!
