I've come here for over 4 years now and work with Joy. Not only is she as pleasant as her name suggests, she's extremely knowledgeable in skincare. Joy will advise on what works best for my skin at a particular time and isn't simply focused on recommending the priciest service. I definitely recommend checking Le Visage out for your facial needs. read more

Le Visage Spa - Waiting Room - Skin Care Near Me - Boston, Massachusetts

Best facials in Boston. Overall the staff is really attentive and so professional. I live in Los Angeles and have gone to some of the highest rated spas in California and I must say that this spa is just as good! I highly recommend this place! read more

On a recent trip to visit family in Boston my brother treated me to a 'spa day" which started off with a Bliss Ritual at Le Visage with Bea. Love the underground vibe and the receptionist was a sweetheart. I have not ever had a back facial, it was awesome!!! The quaint wait area was comfortable and had a bunch of actually readable books and magazines. Would definitely be a frequent flyer if I lived here in Boston! Is a back facial enough to get me to move back to the cold climate? Yeah, will have to think more on that one :) read more

Highly accommodating for last minute appointments, friendly and welcoming. I've had quite a few massages in my life, but this one was one of a kind! ! It left me feeling extremely relaxed yet invigorated afterwards. The other unique thing about the place is the headrest. It was incredibly comfortable , so soft, didn't choke my skinny neck like most other places. The padding was thick but stayed in place and was also lined with a very soft material. Seriously, other places should learn from them as far as comfortable headrest are concerned. The bathroom was clean and adorable. Thanks gals!! read more

I had my first facial yesterday with Joy and it won't be my last! She was amazing! Joy talked me through everything and used products catered to my specific needs. A day later and my skin is still glowing! I am fair skin and blonde and have invisible eye lashes and brows. I have always wanted to tint them but have been nervous to try anything new. After consulting with Joy I decided to do the lash lift and tint as well as tint my brows... let me just say she is a genius! I am beyond happy with the results... just check out the before and after for yourself! read more

Le Visage Spa - Before and after of a lash lift and tint and an eyebrow wax and tint - Skin Care Near Me - Boston, Massachusetts

I must say- Santina gave me the best facial I've ever had in my life! Everyone at Le Visage is so professional and I have been amazed at every product I've purchased from them. If you are looking for a facial that is both effective and relaxing this is the place! read more

As someone who struggles with hormonal breakouts and generally sensitive skin, a good esthetician is the cornerstone of my beauty routine. When I moved to Boston, I did my research, made some calls, and landed on Le Visage. After my first facial with Bea, I knew I made the right choice and I thank my lucky stars after every booking with her. Beatrice creates a customized experience for each of her clients, depending on the needs of their skin. She is extremely knowledgable about her craft and is genuinely invested in your journey to clearer skin. After a few months of religiously booking facials and sticking to the regime, I have seen major improvements: my cystic breakouts have subsided enormously and now she just focuses on blackheads and milia. Anytime someone asks for recommendations on skincare, I always send them to Bea and Le Visage! read more

I work for a dermatologist so I am very specific about who I will got to for any aesthetic needs. Anne-Cecile and Joy are the only non-dermatologist hands that I allow to touch my face and they are both amazing. I have had multiple different treatments and have been very happy with them all. I would highly recommend. read more

Great facials and massages. Everyone who works here is so nice and good at what they do.

The only other time I had been to a spa was last year on a cruise. So I wasn't really sure what to expect but being a graduate school student, I really wanted to practice some self care so I chose Le Visage on a whim and I am so happy I did! First think I noticed is that the spa is located in the basement which at first struck me as odd. However, since it's located in the financial district there are a lot of cars and construction sites. But since the spa is located below street level it creates a quiet and relaxing experience. You'd never guess you were in downtown Boston. Also, the staff is so friendly and welcoming. Anne Cecile did my facial and eye lash lift and she is so friendly and welcoming. You can clearly see that she truly cares about her clients and wants them to have the best experience possible. She stayed in the room with my the entire time of my appointment which I really appreciate. The last time I had a facial I had a mask put on my face and was left alone for twenty minutes. Her attention to detail is fantastic. She told me if I have any breakouts to let her know and I can come in to have them extracted by her. I had a lot of extractions done because of milia and blackheads. I was a little nervous about how my skin would look the next day and I have to say that my skin is healing up so well. I am so happy with everything. I will DEFINITELY be going back! read more

I just had a phenomenal facial by Anne-Cecil. I am not a big Yelp reviewer, but after my experience I felt obligated to share. It is such a cute and quaint spa. I walked into a beautiful and spacious treatment room and crawled right into a warm and cozy bed/table. The facial itself was wonderful. Anne-Cecil is clearly an expert in her field and I knew I was in good hands. Even her extractions were easier and more comfortable (as comfortable as an extraction can be) than other places I have been. Her touch is gentle and efficient! She is such a sweet and caring woman and very easy to talk with. While I waited for a mask or some product to settle in, she gave me a relaxing massage - bonus! At the end of the facial we talked about my skin routine. During the pandemic, I have started having cystic chin acne and she assured me we could clear that away not just with the facial but maintenance so they don't come back! She clearly knows her stuff but she was not pushy at all with buying products. Of the products I did buy, she suggested I get the small travel sizes to test them out. All except one of the products were under $25. To top it all off, she plans to see me in 10-14 days for a post-facial consultation to ensure some of those bigger chin zits are gone and new ones aren't replacing them and to evaluate my new skin routine. This shows that she loves her job and cares about her clients. You're not just getting a 50-80 mins treatment and then clogging your pores back up again until you need to see her again. I apologize for this long winded review, but if you're even considering it do it! You won't regret it .... my facial was at 2 and since then I have already told 5 of my friends they need to book! read more

I've been to Joy now for an eyelash tint and facial. Both were amazing services with the 50 minute facial worth every penny. She's easy to talk to and attentive to her clients. I will definitely be back! read more

If you're like me, a connoisseur of spa treatments and spas, then get ready, because Le Visage emerges above the rest. It is an understatement for me to say that this spa, under the direction of Anne-Cecile Curot married with a highly skilled amazing team of practitioners and therapist is on the forefront of executing superior professional spa treatments. As a dedicated client, I am dedicated for many reasons. Reasons which include but are not limited to; the treatments I have received delivers results that transformed the condition of my skin, Anne-Cécile and her team are dedicated to offering the purest, quality skin nutrition for my daily home use, and they provide therapeutic spa treatments and programs that accommodate my individual wellness needs. read more

I have seen Joy for several facials and she is amazing! My skin looks stunning when I leave here and stays that way for several weeks. Joy is gentle and does a great job with extractions. I like that the spa uses traditional steam. They never push products on you. I also like that it is easy to book an appointment via e-mail. read more

I usually don't get facials, but decided to try one. Best decision in awhile. It was just fabulous, not fussy, and no upselling of expensive lotions afterwards. Just terrific. And the massage is excellent as well. Try this place. You won't be sorry. read more

I came to Le Visage, following my Massage Therapist Dennis from Pyara spa and salon in Cambridge to Boston's financial district. I began seeing Dennis for massage regularly about a year ago. I was having lower back pains, leg pain, shoulder pain, and walking with swiveling hips. After just one session with Dennis I noticed a huge difference in my body. The pain was practically removed, I stood taller and walked without a swivel. He gave me a few easy stretches to do at home that helped keep the pain from returning. After seeing Dennis regularly for a while, I felt my body return to normal. His skill far surpasses that of any massage therapist I've seen in the past. I cannot recommend him enough. The spa itself is lovely. In addition to being conveniently located in a part of town quickly accessible to every train line, Le Visage is a lovely calming oasis. The staff was friendly, laid back and accommodating and everyone seemed happy to be there. Congratulations on your new digs Dennis! read more

I have had two services here and they were both wonderful experiences. I had a facial, and it was so lovely, I scheduled a leg wax for the next week! Maria did both, and she is so sweet and lovely, that even though I came in weathered from our long, torturous winter and hairy as all get out, she made me feel comfortable and at home. What's amazing about Maria is her lightness of touch; I would have been lulled to sleep except for the slight pinch of depilation both on my lip and my leg. My leg waxing lasted three weeks (!) and my eyebrows still look awesome. I would give her six stars, but that's not allowed. Go. And remember, it's in the basement next door to the salon. Like anything else good in Boston, it's totally hidden from view. ;) read more

Dennis Meade .he has magic hands and somehow knows exactly where the spot is that I need taken care of. every single time. He knows exactly what I need every time, I think maybe it's sorcery. I've been going to Dennis for a long time . As time goes by it gets even better which is totally as it should be. I have never in my life had a better massage. Complete and utter happiness and satisfaction every time. worth every penny .would follow him anywhere.perfection. update: Dennis did move to the financial district in boston (plenty of parking on weekends!) Dennis is still awesome.I wish i could give him more stars! read more

This was my first time getting a massage and facial and I enjoyed my experience at Le Visage Spa. I did my research to find one of the best spas in the Boston and I see why the reviews are great. Dennis was my Massage Therapist and he listened to what I said and I felt great when I left. All of the tension that I had was gone after my massage. Joy was my Esthetician and my face was glowing and felt smooth once she finished. She asked what products I use and if I had any concerns. Before starting the facial, Joy explained what she would be doing and the products that she was using. I will definitely be going back because this was an amazing experience! read more

I have been to MANY spas in and outside of Boston. This was by far the best facial I have ever gotten. My skin was noticeably smoother and brighter as soon as I walked out. Santina was so pleasant and talked me through all my questions and concerns and really customized the facial to meet my needs. I may never have to try another spa again. read more

i'm suprised at the experience i had because there are so many good reviews, my skin is having so much trouble right now and i tried to go to the best for help and all she did the whole time was try to push their products on me? if i'm having breakouts i don't want to try something new till my skin calms down...? that's all she kept talking about the whole time for my consultation. The front desk women had no personality what's so over, very stand off-ish and rude the whole experience sucked, i'm confused and bummed out cause the reviews were so good. She tried to get me to buy 100 dollars worth of products... before I even had a facial there. To me it sounded like she needed to meet a goal or some type of commission? left super upset cause i really need help with my skin! read more

I had a facial with Joy this afternoon and it was an absolute pleasure. The treatment was excellent and tailored to my needs - she was extraordinary. I'll definitely be back! read more

Worst customer service. Unprofessional staff. After purchasing a gift card for a dear friend in the amount of $250.00 I was not refunded after finding out the only massage therapist was a male. Everyone has preferences and having one option for a massage is just something I have never heard of. But that's not the real problem here.. after first speaking with Ellie in the office, I asked to speak with the owner of the establishment as a business owner myself. I was then given a call back by a man named Paul who actually said to me "I won't let the owner waste her time speaking with you. She has more important things to tend to". What?! As a paying customer who has never even stepped foot in the establishment. He was extremely rude and told me that in his 30 years of profession he had never heard of a man not feeling comfortable with another man giving him a massage. In today's society we have to be accepting of peoples comfort and needs. This goes against our rights. He then said he had looked my business up and saw my policies on gift cards which was not only weird. It was a lie. Instead they wanted to offer $250 of facial products? What? No get another female massage therapist or money back. Altogether all of this could have been avoided had the owner of the establishment given me the respect to call me back as a paying customer to HER business. So due to the severe lack of professionalism I would never suggest this place. I spent a lot of money on a place I had never even been to. It was downright the worst customer service I have ever experienced at any spa. read more

I have had many massages over the years so I am confident in saying after today's massage that Dennis Meade is an outstanding Massage Therapist. Dennis loosened all my tight muscles with just the right amount of pressure. He listened to my areas of concern and seemed genuinely interested in addressing each one. Dennis even showed me some stretches after the session was over. I highly recommend Dennis! read more

I have very oily/acne prone skin and have recently been told by many that the best way to manage this is to start getting regular facials. As such, I started doing some research around Boston to find a place that specialized in facials and skin care. I had an assessment and my first facial with Joy about a week ago, and I can't rave enough! I've noticed wonderful improvements in my skin (smoother, less acne) and the facial itself was awesome. She gave a great massage while waiting for different parts of the facial to finish, and did an excellent job explaining each step and the purpose of every part. Lots of great tools and heal-assistance for my skin! Will definitely be going back monthly. also, Joy was a pleasure - such a sweetheart and I felt so comfortable. read more

I have been seeing Joy for waxes for many years. She is quick, efficient and helps you relax. She is also very easy to talk to during your appointments. Highly recommend Joy! read more

I had my 3rd massage with Dennis and I keep coming back even though I live out of town. He is incredible and loosens up muscles that you don`t even know that are tight. I have had massages all my life and have NEVER had one as good as Dennis. After he is finished you feel like a combination of physical therapy, chiropractic and massage has been done on you. He diagnosis with care and is absolutely amazing. Hope he never leaves this spa. read more

I have been to many spas and very rarely are any of them "life changing" experiences. I had a facial done by Anne-Cecile when I was in town for PAX East. It was one of the most wonderful spa experiences of my life. First of all, Anne-Cecile is a fantastic person inside and out. She helped me fix my skin regimen and got me hooked on Rhonda Allison products. Normally, I don't fall for products sold in a spa or endorsed by the esthetician, BUT Anne-Cecile knows what she is talking about. Thank god for her or I'd still be rotating terrible and overpriced products onto my face. My skin has not looked this good since accutane (skin of an angel). Second, this place is a gem. The services that are offered are amazing and I'm so tempted to book the one hour flight to Boston just to spend the day here. Anne-Cecile was going to leave for a skin convention soon after my appointment. The best people to go to are the ones always trying to learn and improve! Third, hands-down the best facial. Anne-Cecile stayed in the room the entire time with me. I hate when the esthetician just smothers on a mask and leaves for 20-30 minutes. Also, I didn't leave looking like I got punched in the face (as another Yelp reviewer said). Anne-Cecile was gentle and used some techniques I have never experienced anywhere else (Bisous Magic!). My face was dewy and fresh for the remainder of my trip in Boston. Actually, it is still dewy and fresh, all thanks to Anne-Cecile and Rhonda Allison products. read more

Went for a facial and it was a lovely experience. I will definitely be going back when my skin needs it. I had many millias across my cheek and she extracted them with no problem. After a day you couldn't even tell they were there. My dermatologist wouldn't take them out. My skin looks amazing and I now know where to go for my skin needs. read more

Can I do 6 stars? Would if I could because not only is Anne-Cecile the best aesthetician in Boston, she now has the best massage therapist in Dennis! His hands are incredible! I've had massages all over Newbury St, as well as the Mandarin Oriental and this gentleman beats them all hands down. The technique, pressure, warm personality, I wanted to take him home! And I'm married to a woman! Prices are ridiculously low for Boston and well worth the trip in town. Run, don't walk to Le Visage! read more

Beatrice is amazing!! Best facial I've ever had. I ended up buying two suggested products and after five weeks, my skin still feels great. I am scheduled again for next week and cannot wait! HIGHLY suggest this place. read more

Extraordinary Spa. Cecile is a French trained professional and her Spa and staff reflect that. You will love this spa.

I should have posted this by now but better late than never. Dennis Meade is an incredible massage therapist! He has an amazing way of finding the right areas that need to be worked on, and addresses them with just the right amount of pressure and attention. After my last massage with him (which was my 3rd) I honestly felt like he'd loosened so much tension I had through my lower left side that it realigned my gait and helped lengthen the muscles. Even a few days after the massage I still have better mobility and flexibility on that side. Dennis listens to what you need or want worked on and will also explain to you where the pain might be stemming from so you can do things about it at home. He also gives you stretches at the end which can be a huge help. I will be continuing to have Dennis as my massage therapist! read more

I live in Los Angeles. I wanted to treat my man to a spa day. He travels often and I knew he would be in Boston for a few days. Thanks to Yelp, I found this place and I called. Very nice and friendly. They accommodated me in treating my guy, I just wanted him to show up and enjoy and let them do the rest. Well they did! Anne did a wonderful job and was informational. Denis also did a wonderful job! Every review lived up to the standards. Thank you. I HIGHLY Recommend read more

I've never had a facial before coming here three weeks ago. I've been looking forward to my next facial with Joy since I left! It was so relaxing. I had a really rough week and decided to treat myself and I'm so glad I did. My skin looked so dewy but not oily when I left. Even though it's pricey, I'm looking forward to budgeting for this every month or two for my me time. I don't wear makeup so I don't mind spending a bit more of skin care. My skin gets red easy and it wasn't red at all upon leaving. I felt so beautiful when I left and have been recommending everyone I know to treat themselves here! read more

Le Visage is a wonderful hidden gem! I got an eyelash lift done by the owner, Anne-Cecile. The process was calming and relaxing! I've had lifts done before and didn't like the process, and they always burned my eyes. Anne's procedure is European and is completely painless. I didn't love the initial results so i called her a few hours later and Anne squeezed me in to add a little more lift - the end result was amazing!!!! My eyelashes grow straight down and now I look like I have fake eyelashes! But naturally! I couldn't recommend this spa anymore, i can't wait to come back for a facial soon!! Merci Anne-Cecile!!!! read more
