Hi! I am in Paris right now (september 19 2021) and came here. Ok! Waiters don't speak english well, you can google translate and show them. This place may not be "american" taste, simply food is very "local" oriented. If you sit here long enough, you will realize! However, service is very good! The head/chief of the server is very favorable and soooooo nice! I don't speak french at all! Also if you like the "melts in your mouth type of steak..."do not come here... go to any of other steak joint in NYC. They cook with "real cow" that runs around the field and eats whatever is available on the nature. It is not the cow we eat in the state, so meat is very muscular if you know what I mean. It will be chewy for sure! This is a great place to sit and enjoy the breeze and just relax!

Gotta love a Spritz on a hot day

Classy little cafe that made a perfect place to relax, refresh and refuel after visiting the Invalides museums. We sat outside in the covered patio/garden area, which gave us some shelter from the June heat and a little privacy from the street. Two Aperol spritz drinks were generous and refreshing on a hot summer day. We stuck to the same plate from the specials of the day: a cold mixed meat and salad dish featuring roast chicken, roast beef, and green bean salad. The chicken leg portion was a little tough but everything else was great - it felt a bit like having a fancy picnic. We finished off sharing a bowl of three ice creams since it was too hot for anything else. Service was fine, slow but not unpleasant. Noticed that most of the other diners seemed to be locals chatting up servers who knew them, so it had the real feel of a fancy neighborhood place. I'd definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a meal after a visit to Les Invalides, if you want something fancier than the offerings on site there - and in a more relaxing environment as well.

Cafe au lait and pan chocolat. This is perfection.

Love love love this little cafe. As we were on a group tour we took a break here for some coffee and a snack. The inside is so fancy and just how you would imagine a cute little French cafe to look. We stepped right up to the bar to order cafe au lait and hot chocolate and the bartender was so friendly and gladly spoke a little English. They also had pastries set out so I couldn't resist grabbing a pan chocolat as well. All together the total was about 9 euros and I would definitely say it was worth it. We were able to sit by a large window and look out at the courtyard a few feet away in some heat (it was freezing out) and quiet. I would definitely recommend you to give this bar a try if you are in the area and don't skip the coffee, it is delicious!!

Our group of 25 was admirably served. Tasty food. Nice views of the final resting place of Napoleon.

Le Vauban has a great view of the dome of Les Invalides near the end of what in the evening is a fairly quiet street.

The richness of the flavor and the texture which is not reminiscent of the traditional roasted duck or foie gras, but rather a much more like a luxurious and indulgent version. We enjoyed our dinner on the outside of the restaurant after about a 20-30 minute wait. The bone marrow had the best flavor I've experienced for the dish. However, it is definitely overshadowed by the rich flavor of the foie gras. This experience was unforgettable, with our view of Parisian streets on a brisk, April night. We even came back on our last night, but didn't realize the hours on Google maps was for the deli. The restaurant closes earlier, before 9:00 PM. This meal got us thinking about Paris in a positive light, and we hope to be able to come back to eat the amazing dishes again!

This place was a huge letdown. They had a cute little artisanal market on the front left of the…read morerestaurant. They had a number of goods to choose from and I ended up buying a few things for souvenirs. As for the actual restaurant, they had a number of delicious sounding items on their menu. Our server was very attentive to us and helped us decide on our dinner orders. Similar to the other restaurants though. After our food was delivered, it was far in between when we were checked on again. And after dessert it took even longer for our server to bring the bill. Overall, the food was a letdown. I do not exaggerate when I say that the frog legs just tasted like slightly flavored water. My friend's ravioli had a fairly decent flavored sauce but the pasta was a bit chewy. My friend's duck breast was pretty tough; I had noticed the table next to us also ordered it and they seemed to have trouble finishing/cutting theirs as well. As for my steak with foie gras, well the steak was once again tough and the foie gras was weirdly stringy. It was soft for the most part but there were parts that were tough and stringy. Maybe that's a section that's generally separated in the preparation process and it was missed? In any case it was disappointing. What wasn't disappointing was dessert though; perfectly sweet and balanced.
