Lamb knuckle was amazing - well worth the visit. Good service and nice location in the sun.

Worth it a hundred times over. You cannot beat the quality and quantity at this establishment's…read moreprice point. We had an amazing waitress who was just on point with all our needs even after she was given a 25-person table once our group of 4 was seated. I can't even begin to describe the food as it was exactly what it looked like and what we wanted. In my mafaldine al tartufo avec jambon a la truffe d'ete, it had the perfect amount of truffle and saltiness - especially with the jambon topping. The moules a la creme and moules pasta was bountiful and fresh. The fresh brick-oven-cooked pizza was outstanding and also deserving of equal praise. The inside of the restaurant is warmly lit and inviting to any sized groups wanting to try out this place. Would recommend and come back again when shopping Champs-Elysées!

The steak was all right and my husband loved the mussels. I did like that they did have a great Belgian cherry beer...that was delicious. It was nice sitting outside and the waiter was fairly efficient although a little indifferent. If you are here for mussels, you'll probably like this a lot. Otherwise, you'll probably feel that it's okay, but not a standout compared to some other places we ate in Paris.

Subject: Formal Complaint -- Unprofessional Treatment of a Loyal Customer at Le Castel Café…read more Dear Owner of Le Castel Café, I am writing to complain about the rude and unprofessional treatment I received from your manager. My wife and I ate at Le Castel Café that day, as the attached photo confirms. After spending a couple of hours sightseeing, including visiting the Eiffel Tower, I returned and politely asked to use the restroom. The manager refused unless I purchased something again. This was especially disappointing because my family and I have been returning customers during our visits to Paris for years. I expected basic courtesy and professionalism toward a loyal customer and tourist. I would appreciate your response and clarification as to whether this reflects Le Castel Café's policy and standards. Sincerely, Dr. Jorge Piña Paris, September 6, 2026

The prices are ridiculous and the waiter will round up your bill to include a tip and ask if it's ok while he's holding out the machine to you. Not cool. The prices are high enough then milk customers for just a little more is awful. It's near the Eiffel Tower on the backside of another building so there's no view to justify the prices. Two coffees and a creme brûlée was €50 including the 'little extra' for 15-20 mins of a visit. No wonder it wasn't very busy.
