They found a spot and let us set our suitcases to the side out of the way. The server checked on us to see if he could bring us anything else after lunch. ***PRICE*** Not to expensive for Paris! The lunch was around 10€ and a glass of rosé is only 4€! Coffee is just 1€ or 2. ***FOOD*** I got the croque madame but without meat. Basically a grilled cheese with an egg on top. It came with fries or a salad. I also had an espresso and a glass of rosé! Everything was delicious! ***CONCLUSION*** Great little brasserie with friendly and welcoming staff & great food- French as well as things like fish and chips and other dishes. I tried the French onion soup, which was delicious, perfectly rich and comforting, and the duck confit, cooked beautifully with tender meat and crisp skin. One of the best meals I've had in Paris! As for my steak with foie gras, well the steak was once again tough and the foie gras was weirdly stringy. It was soft for the most part but there were parts that were tough and stringy. Maybe that's a section that's generally separated in the preparation process and it was missed? In any case it was disappointing.
