We stumbled in after landing and no sleep. It made an impression and we decided to return a week later for our last supper. And what a meal it was!
We started with the white asparagus, which was far too complex to describe. I'll call it amazing and leave it at that.
The flat gnocchi with mushrooms and peas in butter sauce was amazing, as was the beef filet with potato round and asparagus.
The cherries jubilee with yuzu and a black pepper meringue disc was a perfect ending.
Tasty wine, a fabulous sever, a visit from the chef, and I must say that I could not have asked for more. If you're in the 11th, I highly recommend Le Quartier Libre. read more
