Such a lovely experience in Paris--the food was absolutely delicious and fresh!! The ribeye, shrimp and escargot were all cooked to perfection. The escargot was especially delicious and creative. The wine--so many cheap yet wonderful options. Needless to say, I don't remember how much we paid for the meal but I'm sure it wasn't too expensive. The service was also friendly--given that this is not in such a touristy area, they still spoke English and provided an English menu. Highly recommend folks coming here if you're in the area to see Sacre Coeur, Montmartre, and the Moulin Rouge.

Originally, I wanted to dine at their other restaurant (Sacrée Fleur). I emailed that establishment to find they were fully booked, but they just opened another restaurant not too far away (this little gem). I discovered the two restaurants had very similar menus, but this restaurant had less options. Not a huge deal, though options are always nice. I was able to book my reservations online with ease. This was probably the best if not second best meal I had in Paris. The service was attentive and I didn't have to ask for water here. At every other place I visited, I had to ask for water and more water. The complimentary bread was delicious btw! I love bread. This night, I ordered the snails in cream sauce to start and the pork tenderloin over carrots. My boyfriend and everyone else got the entrecôte steak so I opted to try a different dish even though that was my first option. The snails were so good and the bread tasted even better dipped in the sauce. My dish was okay. I really should have just went for the steak because that was the star. It was so good, I was happy my boyfriend shared the amount he did with me. It also came with a basket of fries. I got their creme brûlée for dessert and it was the best I have ever had. I opt for creme brûlée at most places I visit, if given the option, and omg the one here is killer. If I'm ever back in Paris, I'm making it a priority to get a seat at their other restaurant for sure! And if all else fails, this is a great option. *They speak English and have an English menu.

Had a stupendous meal here last night, enjoying both the friendly service and the excellent dishes we ordered. The place is very intimate, and you can see the goings on in the kitchen from your table, but the atmosphere is convivial and the menu varied enough to offer some interesting options suited to a wide range of tastes. The escargots normands, onglet and duck were particular standouts and the wine list is well priced and offers some interesting bottles that are well suited to the menu.

Luca was my server and he was very welcoming in hospitable to this weary traveler. I sat on the patio towards the end of the row so I could take in the atmosphere and people watch a bit. Luca Recommended a meal with a mashed potatoes and sausage with French bread and salad and it sounded tasty so I gave it a go! All the flavors went well together; mashed potatoes were well seasoned the sausage had a good flavor, and the salad with the vinaigrette added a crunch in an extra flavor as well. I drank a French hard cider while I gobbled up my meal, which also was new for me and tasted great after I was done my meal. Luke brought me a shot with rum and some other ingredients, including lemon that definitely hit the spot after a good meal.I recommend Brasserie Belanger for anyone near GDN Train Station that enjoys great food and patio dining. Cheers!

The restaurant itself isn't small, but really not big, so it's definitely worthwhile to make a reservation at least a week or so on advance, otherwise you're pushing your luck. Everyone ordered steak frites (2 rump steak, 2 flank) and no one was disappointed. Steaks were cooked to order, although medium here in France is more like medium rare in the States, just be advised. The restaurant itself is lively and fun with lots of chatting, laughing and good times being shared. Desserts were Crème Brûlée and Apple Crumble, neither of which were disappointing. We definitely enjoyed our dinner and would likely return again. This time with a reservation made well in advance.

The food was served tapas style, and they have deals such as getting 5 (or 10!) plates at a discounted price. We ordered 5 for the two of us, but the tapas here are much larger than they are in the states, so we were STUFFED and didn't even finish three fourths of it! Well worth the money. Because it is a more authentic place, most waiters didn't speak English. They were helpful to the best of their ability, and I would highly suggest giving them a try even if you're not overly confident in your French!

Unfortunately, it was past 10 pm so a lot of places were closed. We were getting frantic trying to find a restaurant that was still open. We finally pinged this place on GoogleMaps. I have to say, this place is the definition of a hidden gem. It's a small French tapas place off on a side street that unless you were really searching, you would probably walk by it in favor of larger restaurants. I don't know if our waiter was also the owner or the sommelier, but either way, his English was limited. Luckily, my fiancee's sister speaks French so she was able to translate the menu (to an extent). As such, this was a tapas restaurant so everything was small plates and meant to be shared. I don't remember the exact name of everything we ordered, but I remember a Pad Thai, a beef dish, smoked salmon, octopus, and a fried dish (maybe calamari, but I don't remember). The food is excellent and packed with flavor. You'd be surprised how filling these little dishes can be. If you ever come to Paris, I recommend going off the beaten path for this little piece of heaven.

Unfortunately, it was too early for the tartare as they only serve that during lunch/dinner hours. So we ordered an onion soup, a dozen snails, and a cheese plate. The onion soup was really good. The cheese was nice and melty and slightly charred in some spots. I shared this with my husband but I probably could have eaten two of these on my own. The snails were great as well. But I feel like 12 is a little too much for two people, but 6 wouldn't be enough. For the cheese plate, I don't remember what was on it but I remember not liking the harder cheeses and really liking the gorgonzola. I wish we found out about this place sooner so we could have tried a proper meal. If anyone gets a chance to try the beef tartare, let me know!
