    Beef bourguignon

After a tour nearby, the tour guide recommended this place as a little bistro for French food and it didn't disappoint! It's located in a very unassuming street away from all the busy area. I ordered the beef bourguignon and it tasted amazing. I saw the table next to me got the lamb shank and would definitely come back just to try that! Highly recommend this place as a dinner place after a busy day in Montmarte

This restaurant was recommended to us by one of our tour guides. It's off the beaten path in Monmatre. What an amazing meal in this cozy little restaurant! They do take reservations, we didn't have one but got there when they opened and we were there in August so it wasn't busy. We split the escargot for an appetizer. It was delicious, not chewy, and make sure you soak up the juice with your baguette. Our entrees were the lamb shank, which I got to blow out like a birthday candle (see picture) and the traditional French dish of beef Bourguignon. Just perfection! Do yourself a favor and make sure you eat here, you will not be disappointed!

Escargots, baguettes, vin rouge et ma femme!

Escargots, baguettes, vin rouge et ma femme! My wife and I went here on the last day of our honeymoon visit in Paris and this was easily our best meal. The food and ambiance were extraordinary and we had a great experience sampling the menu and speaking with the owner and chef who really made our last night memorable!

My wife and I went here at recommendation of our hotel for our final night in Paris. It was our best meal of the trip BY FAR! The service was excellent (our server was patient with us being first timers and Americans), ambiance was cozy & local-feeling on small side street tucked away from the touristy areas near Sacre Coeur, and the food was delicious. I ordered the fish of the day (a light white fish with great sauce & sides) and my wife ordered the lamb shank. The shank came out with flare...literally! They lit it up and the taste lived up to the experience. Super moist. The wine was also a great pairing - we had the recommended pours of white, rosy, and red. Finally, the flaming crème brûlée capped it with a delicious finale. Lightly sugared and flavorful to share

Restaurant was recommended by a friend in San Francisco where we are from. We took our son and two friends (who were visiting from Berlin) to dinner to celebrate all three of them graduating from high school. Small restaurant with great service, great food, great ambience. We highly recommended it. Wish I could post the video of the staff making the crème brûlée.

I keep saying all my previous dinners were the best I've had in Paris until we had our final meal in Paris. It was so delicious. We started off with a delicious Bordeaux wine and we liked it so much we got a second bottle. We shared the crispy cheese and escargot. It was my first time having escargot and it was so tasty! I had the duck for dinner. It was cooked perfectly and a huge portion. It had sweet potatoes and a honey glaze. Hands down the best meal! For dessert we had the cheesecake which was kind of a deconstructed cheesecake. Again, excellent. Our waiter was also the manager of the restaurant and very friendly. I'd highly recommend stopping by here!

    Bone marrow

Small restaurant in a great neighborhood in Paris. I did the bone marrow and ribs. Bone marrow was good, but it was real heavy on seasoning - from salt, parsley and garlic. But everything else was good, especially the meat.

Let's start with the wait, there wasn't one, I had just got done drinking an Absinthe cocktail down the street and they weren't even open yet... my bad lol. I love thé staff here and vibe it was friendly, inviting, even to a drunkard as I was in this moment. Going to the bathroom, I was just like, "standup with purpose, try not to use your hands to stabilise yourself". The crevettes (ravioli) came quickly and was cheesy delicious. I honestly don't know if I ordered a main meal, I was trying to get back to meet this girl I like and I might have left it in the taxi lol. I think it was lamb shank but I'm not exactly sure, I hope someone at it.

Great food, very good value and good friendly service. Waiter patiently explained meals to us due to our very limited knowledge of French. This place is a gem!

Great food, ambiance and customer service. The food was phenomenal, so was the crème brûlée (not pictured) don't pass this place up, you'll regret it!!

One of the best meals I've had in Montemarte. The place wasn't as over-flowing with patrons like some of the Bistros on busier streets but the atmosphere was cozy. I had a starter of mini raviolis, followed by leg of lamb and finished with creme brûlée. The starter and main were both excellent, the desert was just ok. The waiter (owner?) also suggested a wine to go with my meal that was really excellent. Overall this is one of the best value meals I had in Paris.

If I could give it more stars I would. I am writing this at my table because it's so good and I really hope someone else can come enjoy the steak with foie gras sauce and shiitake mushrooms. I cleared my plate with no shame. My husband had the salmon and it was pretty amazing. The top was crisped beautifully and the rice dish that accompanied it was wonderful! Their service was fast and friendly. We never felt rushed. The food came out in a good amount of time. The creme Brûlée was good and the french toast with caramel sauce was to die for!

The service we experienced was exactly what you want... our server had plenty of suggestions based on the offerings of the day. The service was attentive and responsive... not much more than you could ask for. I had the duck breast being offered... it was served alongside crispy potatoes, green beans, and a salad. Adding in the onion soup and a glass of wine... it quickly became a King's dinner at a very reasonable price. I would be more than happy to eat here again and look forward to exploring the rest of the menu offering many local and classic French options.

Like others have said, it's super small inside, so you'll get to know your neighbors really well. But your attention will be more focused on the food they bring out. I had the lamb with thyme sauce and my wife had the confit duck leg. Don't be afraid to pick the sauce of the day over the regular honey sauce. The sauce of the day on the day we went was a blackberry sauce which was crazy good. With a bottle of wine at 24 euros and both entrees under 20 euros, you couldn't really beat a meal of that quality in many places around Paris for that price. It was only after I ate at Le Potager did I see it had a bunch of great reviews on Yelp. It's definitely earned all those stars.

Making a reservation isn't hard but you do need to email them and there's no online booking system. You also have to confirm again 1-2 days before. I understand they are small with a limited number of tables so that's fair and it seemed like everyone showed up even though they don't require a deposit. On a Friday night, it didn't appear there was much chance or walking in although there were like 2 open seats at what would have been a shared table. The menu is small and includes some typical French starters, steaks, 3 non steak entrees, cheeses, and dessert. All steaks come with potatoes, 3 sauces, salad. Service was a highlight. The waiter was personable and funny, had solid recommendations, and made sure leftovers were taken home. Also had a solid wine recommendation after asking some questions. They probably get a lot of people who don't speak French and they had no problem speaking English. The food- ordered a ribeye medium rare. The steak was so so charred on the outside and it almost ruined the whole thing. I really wish they would have charred it way less especially when it was ordered medium rare. There is seared and then there is burnt; this was sadly the latter. The steak itself was fine, honestly nowhere near the best meat I have had but the price is quite reasonable for how much you get. I would say the steak was maybe 6/10 for me, largely due to the cooking. The fries were phenomenal. Definitely a highlight and really tasty and with a great texture. Salad was good, pretty typical. I wanted to like the sauces more but found them just okay. The best by far for me was the blue cheese sauce but even this one I thought the flavors could have popped a little more. Atmosphere was fun, there were a few bigger groups (6-8 which is the biggest they accommodate) but it never got unreasonably loud. Overall I wanted to love it but was a bit disappointed even though the service and fries were both great.

It's a tiny restaurant, so if you're a party of two, you might share a table with others, but they have spacers so you don't feel like you're eating together. Reservations were easy to make. You email in your requested sitting and someone will get back to you shortly. We were able to get in a little ahead of schedule and start the adventure. Wines were reasonably priced and they had a good variety of cocktails. We hadn't had French onion soup on our trip, so we ordered it as an appetizer. Sometimes it can get a little salty, but these were very well blended. Sacree Fleur seems to be known for their steak and frites, so we ordered the steak for two. Steak comes out on a sizzling platter. You can turn the pieces over to keep cooking until your preferred temperature. It was quite succulent and the fries were well prepared. There are two dipping sauces and some salt to season your meal. We hadn't a great time and way too much food :)

The menu looked nothing like the ones on this website and featured Italian food items, like spaghetti, arroz con pollo or mozarella. I asked him about frog legs or the onion soup.
