    Pork tenderloin

As always fantastic food and wine. we ordered the Shrimp appetizer , wedges with truffle aioli, and whipped goat cheese for appetizers. plenty to share. Our main course was seared red snapper and the pork tenderloin. I must say their fish dishes are out of this world! Our server Steven was very attentive.

Great service and great food! First time trying Le Ono. We tasted the small plates and especially loved the deviled eggs! Interesting drinks too!

Second visit to Le Ono and I'm officially obsessed. Came here to celebrate a friend's birthday and Le Ono delivered--again. The vibes are tropical lounge meets casual glam, and the food is every bit as memorable as the decor. Cocktails: I started with the Jade in Spades--Empress gin, kiwi cucumber cordial, lemon, and bubbles. It was crisp, refreshing, and as pretty as it was delicious. Followed it up with the Matcha Clarified Milk Punch which was creamy, unique, and wildly smooth. If you're into elevated cocktails with unexpected twists, this place gets it right. Apps: We split the Ahi Poke Nachos (crispy wonton chips, pineapple salsa, sriracha aioli) and the Squid Fritto Misto (tempura squid, broccolini, lemon aioli). Both were packed with flavor and totally devourable. If you don't order the nachos, I don't trust you. Mains: I had the Vietnamese Tiger Shrimp & Noodle Salad, and wow--bright, balanced, with the perfect crunch. Bonus: it somehow tasted even better the next day. My friend got the Prime Ribeye & Frites, served with kale butter and peppercorn sauce. It was rich, indulgent, and cooked to perfection. Dessert: Don't skip the Woods Bakery Donut Bread Pudding. It's drenched in rum butter sauce and topped with vanilla ice cream, and honestly? I'd come back just for this. Atmosphere: Le Ono has that "vacation in your own city" energy. Think warm lighting, lush plants, chic lounge furniture, and a patio that feels like a mini getaway. Friendly service, flawless presentation, and a menu that surprises in the best way. Already planning visit #3. Definitely worth the hype. ‍ Follow me for more honest recs, glam eats, and where to go when you want your meal to feel like an experience. #LeOnoSTL #FoodieFavorites #CocktailGoals #TheSassySaintApproved

My sister, brother-in-law, and I recently had a delightful dinner at this restaurant. I mentioned to our waitress, Heather, that I was visiting my sister and was originally from Virginia. I also shared that this would be my first vacation since retiring, and I was planning to visit Hawaii. Heather generously offered some fantastic food recommendations, which were absolutely amazing and have made me even more excited about my upcoming trip to Hawaii. This restaurant is a must-visit! The love and passion in the food and drinks are palpable. The ambiance was equally captivating, and the overall experience was simply incredible. A special shoutout to the chef for taking the time to chat with us. He made us feel like we were guests at his home, and he was genuinely friendly and welcoming. I can't wait to return in February for my mom's 90th birthday. I plan on visiting this amazing team every time I visit!!! Even if I have to sleep on the doorstep to wait for a seat, it would be worth it. If I could give it a 5 plus, I would definitely do so.

Le Ono is exactly what the Metro East needed! For those of us dying in this suburban wasteland of chain restaurants, Le Ono is a little slice of city dining. They have the whole package: a gorgeous interior, an incredible bar program, unique & delicious food, and seriously the kindest staff! Whether you're going on a date night, solo happy hour, or meeting a whole group, you will have the best time here. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu, but my husband and I's go to is splitting a bunch of appetizers. Their lobster rangoons are one of their signature dishes and a must order every time we go. Other favs are the watermelon sesame sashimi, any of the bao, and the crab cake! And you can't leave without trying a cocktail or mocktail. The bartenders are magic! Make a dinner reservation or swing by for happy hour and get ready for a great night!

I was very excited to try this new gem in O'Fallon, IL after reading rave reviews. I made a reservation for dinner on a Thursday and was promptly seated upon arrival. The space is small but the lounge/bar is separated from the main dining area by tall padded benches. The ambiance is lively but quiet, which we enjoyed. We started with the crab Rangoon and it did not disappoint. The appetizer is served with sweet and sour sauce and it's four rangoons per order. For my entree, I had the breaded red snapper. Honestly, I was a bit worried it had been overcooked when I cut into it but it was just fine. The fish was served with pineapple salsa on top as well as a coconut based sauce, all on a bed of wild rice. The flavors were tropical but I also loved the coconut sauce, which reminded of a Thai dish. My husband had the petit filet and it was cooked to perfection. The filet was served with a thick potato medallion that was very good. To close it off, we shared a bread pudding made with glazed donuts from a bakery down the street. Service was great! Street parking is available in the vicinity. This is a good place to celebrate a special occasion.

    Pork tenderloin with butternut squash

OMG. Amazing. The food we had was amazing and the service beyond wonderful. I had the pork tenderloin and it was the best I have ever had in my life. It was cooked sous vide! I loved butternut squash that came with it. I also tasted the filet with potato and I loved it as well. Be aware that the menu changes as to what is in season. Our server was incredible. She gave great suggestions and never rushed us. It was a wonderful relaxing meal with friends. I loved the decor - French Polynesian. One of the owners stopped by and she made sure everything was wonderful. I highly recommend this restaurant.

I had the fish of the day (halibut), and it was delicious. I particularly enjoyed the sauces. I was disappointed by the liquor selection. Service was good. We came on a Friday at about five PM, and it was loud but not enough to prevent conversation. Reservations are required, and it was lively but not too busy. My family enjoyed their salads, and the smash burger was delicious. Moreover, my brother enjoyed the Old Fashioned.

Le Ono but for brunch. It offers perfectly married French and Polynesian flavors with a unique and fresh vibe! It's a little outside St. Louis to the east, O'Fallon, IL. The fusion of high-quality ingredients and the creative touch of a Polynesian chef result in dishes that are not only delicious but also distinctively different from anything else in the area. The thoughtfully crafted cocktail menu, featuring tiki, Polynesian, and classic French options, adds an extra layer of gusto. Talani and Lisa's hospitality shines, drawing on their extensive restaurant background from Los Angeles, Chicago, and Hawaii. Le Ono is a must-visit for those seeking a tasteful journey. Ordered the seafood spread & everything bagel #stlouispescatarianapproved It was excellent! @stlouispescatarians on instagram.

Amazing food, ambiance, and staff! The chef and maitre d' are extremely personable and aren't afraid to come out front to engage with customers... I had a lentil salad and a lovely cocktail and sat at the bar... what a pleasant surprise!!

And the happy hour is crazy good! On a nice day there is nowhere nicer than the patio and tonight the happy hour was GLORIOUS. I do like sitting inside as well but with this weather you couldn't make me go inside. I have had brunch here quite a few times, dinner too, but as I said today was happy hour. That means the burger. It is absolutely one of the best I have had. I take it as offered but love that they always ask if I want modifications. Look at that burger! And the shoestring potatoes are marvelous too! We had the chips & cheese and olive appetizers to snack on as burgers were getting made and we each had a cocktail. Love that the service is attentive and friendly (Brian was great tonight). But also love that I never feel rushed to turn the table over. I love dirty martinis and got their black and blue martini. The spicy bitters are spicy for sure. As one that likes spicy, I thought it was weird in a martini. It was a strong drink though. Ordered the French onion soup, as this was the reason I came. Taste was great, but the soup had a thicker consistency than I was used to. As others have said, lots of cheese on top, which isn't necessarily bad.

After we paid (and tipped 30%), we were abruptly told by the hostess to leave the table and move outside to finish the drinks we had just ordered. We awkwardly gathered our belongings without protest and were rushed outside unassisted, with the other patrons staring at us. As we exited, we heard the server reappear and graciously apologize to the waiting party, offering them champagne. The table outside was set when we arrived but then actively cleared by the busser after we sat down. No one came back to check in. We felt unwelcome and quickly left. It was unnecessarily uncomfortable and put a damper on what was supposed to be a celebratory meal. This was a service failure. I understand the need to turn tables over quickly, but we should have been given at least 5 minutes notice, especially when the kitchen is running behind. Alternatively, the drinks could have been taken off the bill and we could have left outright. Even help moving or any involvement from our server or the manager would have been appreciated, but they were not present. Having had many great experiences at Vicia, I expected more from the take root hospitality group. We'll give Vicia another chance, but I'll be cautious about trying one of their sister restaurants again With the impending closure, this one may have already given up.

She shared interesting and incredible insight on each offering, making us feel valued and appreciated patrons, advising based on our interests and likes to help us make decisions. Each of us was pleased with our various selections. While the soups were tempting on a cold night, I was delighted with the French-inspired Lyonnaise salad complete with a perfectly prepared soft boiled egg. My panko-encrusted swordfish with burre Blanc sauce was light and tasty. The gooey butter beignets were light on the gooey butter custard-like filling, as promised by our server (and more special than the typical St. Louis dessert), sprinkled with powdered sugar and drizzled with chocolate. The ample dessert (3) provided take home leftovers for delicious breakfast treats. The cocktails I enjoyed included a Japanese Old Fashioned & an Espresso Martini, both very good. Initially upon arrival, an adjacent table of younger women was unusually loud (in a space that doesn't absorb noise well) that I feared would spoil our evening; rather than approach them (tempted) or engage management, I glared a few times at them and it seemed to have resolved.
