I never do reviews and this is my first Yelp review. Lol I went before Covid hit to get a few manicures and gel polish and they were good. I just went almost three weeks ago before NYE for acrylic nails and my nails are still looking fabulous! I am impressed with the quality and how long lasting they are. I'm having fill-ins done this week but I really could go much longer. And I found out the people working there are new owners that bought the salon last March or April 2022. I hope to try a pedicure soon but do recommend an appointment. There were several people getting pedicures and manicures done so the salon was pretty busy. This is the salon on Independence Blvd near Kohl's and Outback Steakhouse. I said that because every time I try to look up the one in Matthews a different one pops up. read more

Horrible service! When I walked in, I very specifically asked if they knew how to marble nails and I was assured they did. The lady obviously did not as she started to watch YouTube videos on how to do it. My nails are the worst the have looked in the 15 years I've been getting them done. I was very unhappy, she didn't even apologize for not knowing what she was doing and they still made me pay $31 for this garbage. I got my nails done a light purple on July 16th. It's almost been 2 weeks and I have multiple cracks, two nails that are lifted, and not to mention the color has faded from purple to pink and some nails have a yellowing to them. By far the worst nail experience I've had in a long time. I normally go somewhere else but decided to give this place one more chance. Got sns nails with tips that were supposed to be almond shaped but came out round and none of them look the same. The man who did my nails made a random phone call in the middle of the service which was extremely unprofessional. Then he began pushing around my cuticles and it hurt so i was making faces and he asked if it hurt so of course I responded that it did then laughed and kept doing it. Paid $50 for a service that I wasn't satisfied with I shouldn't have paid for or tipped on. I will never go here again. read more

I got my nails done here a long time ago. They have a lot of colors to choose from and the paint job was ok, nothing spectacular, but not bad. I got gel and it lasted about a week and a half. I was ok with that. I always get my eyebrows done here. The only reason is Leann. She does them perfectly. The shop is ok, I think they could use an update and sort of wish they would. The eyebrow room is kind of shabby and not up to date. If Leann wasn't there, I would never go there. My three stars to her, because she does the best job for the price. read more

Have gotten my nails done here a few times and every time I am pleased with them. Really nice staff who and quick and friendly. One of my nails even broke at practice and I came in the same day and they redid it for free. I think even the owner came over and spoke to me about it and is extremely kind. I got my nails done with hologram gel on Thursday and it's already beginning to chip and it's Saturday That's not even the initial problem I had... I walked in Le Nails a week prior to setting up my appointment with KATHY! I showed Kathy my nails which were done by another nail tech at another salon. They were coffin nails with faded French tip done with a pink powder and white powder by the brand Kiara sky. I loved how They were done by the previous nail tech, but she's really overbooked and my nails needed attention. Kathy said she can do my fill in. So the day of my appointment, she told me to pick a pink that matched my nails. I told her I didn't see it, or I wasn't able to tell. She experimented with about 5 pinks. Found one I guess. She is terrible with filing, she doesn't use her muscles, way too gentle which means not gonna last. Then one of them were visibly crooked. She started putting on the pink powder and a purple squiggly line appeared separating the previous pink and the pink she chose. She screwed up my nails!!!! I came to get a fill not a change of Polish. At this point, my only option was to get my Polish changed bc my nails looked hideous. When I asked her to do my feelings she should have just said she cannot do it because of what will happen if she picked the wrong color. She obviously was not experienced with using the products because a purple line appeared across all of my nails between both pinks and it looks very bad. She applied hologram gel to cover this mistake and charge me for it that was not my mistake that was her mistake and I should not have been charged for the cover up I'm going to call the labor board and Bbb. I was very upset but I didn't want to act ugly and I didn't like that she covered up her mistake but the fact that she charge me for it is what I have a problem with and she's a manager. She told me it wasn't my fault and it wasn't hers, but clearly it was her fault.. I will be uploading the original picture of my house once this hologram gel comes off. I have been going to this nail salon for the past 5 months and despite an initially great perception, my experiences have gradually gone downhill with my last visit hitting a steep decline in service. I have always requested a very short acrylic nail with a sleeve slightly different rounded square/"squoval" shape to keep them low maintenance and simple. After my last few visits, I had several nails pop off randomly within less than a week. I blamed it on myself, thinking that I might have inadvertently been too rough on them while typing on my computer. My most recent visit (Sunday), I had a whole new set put on my nails and have gone out of my way to be extra gentle with them. Today is Tuesday, and I have already had one nail fall off again. Again, they are very short and I work a desk job which involves very little physical activity. There is no reason that this brand new full set should not last at least 48 hours. In addition to this, I have very visible lines/streaks along several of my nails where the full set was placed. I understand this can happen with fill-in's, but for a brand new set to look this trashy is really upsetting. I also had a major issue with them overcharging me/my debit card. An update, I am now 8 days into this brand new full set; I have had to get three repairs made at another salon because I do not trust this salon. Between the original set, repairs, and tips, I have now spent almost $100 on a full setthat lasted less than 2 weeks. In addition to this, a friend that went to this salon just informed me that her doctor told her that she probably contracted a fungal infection from her pedicure there. read more

I came to this place on a whim after another nail salon could not work with my time constraints...not only were the staff extremely accommodating and professional, but my nails looks GREAT, they did not make me feel rushed, AND they finished 15 minutes faster than what I asked for. Buyer beware: Many salons are saying gel powder is the same as gel nails. This is not true and they are charging gel nail prices for this acrylic based powder. Google it...... Today I asked for gel nails and got acrylic with a gel polish. I questioned them and they told me they used gel powder, which was the same as gel nails. NOT! I had been coming here for years and feel totally misled and taken advantage of. I got acrylic and paid gel prices. read more

About a month ago my sister and I went there and got our nails and toe's done. I got the same as my sister. We both paid $50.00. It was gel. Long story short, my finger nails started buckling and peeling up after about two weeks! My sister's on the other hand looked fine. The only thing hers had started doing was receding from the cuticle. That as far as I can see is the way it is supposed to happen. But I think I was given plain nail polish and was charged for the gel. The process that she had for removing her nail polish was intense. They have to put chemicals and wrap her nails in foil. My sister washes her hands a lot just like I do. I will not be back there! I think I was ripped off! read more
