Had a wonderful pedicure done by Cindy. The salon is beautifully laid out, and all the nail colors are in order so the right color can be found. The pedi chairs are most comfortable (with massage built in), and I was offered something to drink (so I picked water). Cindy's workmanship is amazing -- she even did a flower on each of my big toes. Le Nails - Nail Salons Near Me - Bellingham, Washington

I have only been to Le Nails once, and that experience was sufficiently bad enough to make me decide to never return. To start, I was not greeted in a friendly manner. It almost seemed like they felt they were doing me a huge favor just by acknowledging me. I asked for a fill and polish and was gruffly told to pick a color. The selection at the time was lacking, but I found an appropriate color and sat down. The technician, an older lady, was disinterested and abrupt when speaking to me. The service itself was quite unpleasant. She caused the skin around three nails to bleed. She wiped the admittedly small amount of blood away with not so much as an apology. She was also unnecessarily rough when positioning my fingers; several were sore for the rest of the day due to the way she twisted them. As if that wasn't bad enough, the nails were noticeably different lengths. They were also poorly shaped, with the tips of some looking crooked. The polish was applied haphazardly and she didn't bother to remove the bits where she had inadvertently applied polish to my skin. To top it all off, one of my nails broke just two days later. Instead of returning to get it fixed, I opted to go elsewhere to have the nail fixed and the polish on all my nails redone. I definitely do not recommend Le Nails. read more

Talk about an unfriendly place. My mother in law and I wanted to go get our nails done together and she recommended this place as she had been there before. We walk in and all 5 workers looked at us and said nothing. We stood in the doorway looking at all of them waiting for someone to indicate who we would talk to when a women piped up, "yes- what can we do"... we simply indicated that we wanted two manicures and she looked at the clock and instructed us to come back in 1/2 an hour. We left- came back, and again experienced the same unfriendly non-welcome. My manicure took about ten minutes total and she appeared to really be rushing with me; all the while did not say a single word to me the whole time. I am sure their are MANY MANY other places to go that don't charge $15 for a bleak manicure. read more

This place is very clearly unsanitary. I watched an employee take the same grinder tool he just used on me and stretched it to the next station without even wiping it off. Besides the very obvious gross factor, the acrylics are done waaayyyy too thick and turn yellow almost immediately (very cheap product). Their prices aren't even cheaper than normal - go elsewhere. read more

No longer the place to go for a manicure - pedicure!! I have been to Le Nails many many times since moving to the area, and they were known for their long foot massages during pedicures. However, over the past years they have gone from 20 minutes each foot, to 10 minutes, to now about 5-6 minutes. Plus their manicures are the worst ever. The polish chips within one day, and they cannot even do straight lines with a white french-tip manicure. And they do not use any sort of base coat on the french manicure so it peels away from the nail the same day. While not rude, I do not find them overly friendly, as they spend most the time chattering between themselves in Vietnamese. I will look elsewhere!! read more

I go here all of the time for pedicures. It's not a luxury spa, so if you are looking to be pampered then you should go pay twice as much for that atmosphere somewhere else in town. Le Nails does do a really good job smoothing the rough parts off your feet, giving you a massage, and making your toes look great. There are a number of the girls who can paint a beautiful flower for an extra $5. Most of the workers here don't speak much English - but they are all hard-working and do a good job for not a lot of money. I have been to other places in town where the atmosphere is fancier (fruit plate anyone?), and you get a lot of friendly chit-chat, but the pedicure isn't as good, and they charge twice as much. Most of the time, I prefer the combination of inexpensive and nice looking pedi over the pampering - and that's why I choose Le Nails. read more

My husband and I both have been getting our nails done here for years. They are kind, professional and do a great job. They are meticulous with my cuticles and polish and I never feel rushed. I'm surprised they have such a low score - they do the best mani, pedi, or acrylics I've found in town. The service is fairly standard for a nail salon, the girls are nice - they may rush if its close to closing or its busy but that's been my experience with every nail salon I've ever been to. They don't try to push things on you, the biggest upsell I've ever gotten there is to add a $5 flower or something to my toes which I like but even when I haven't wanted it they don't push. I actually went to another local place with a co worker because she hadn't been to Le and was iffy and they pushed a service on both of us that we didn't ask for that added $10 to our bills so now I am faithful to Le only :-) read more

Overall...the prices were reasonable. They were running late on appointments, so I had to wait 15 extra minutes. I got a pedicure here, and it was quite good. However, the massage on the legs could have been longer and deeper. She was barely touching me! I looked over at my friend, and she was in heaven b/c the lady she had gave her a super long massage. After years of trying to talk my husband into having a pedi .I took him to a birch bay nail spa .They were very rude & were not gentle .It actually hurt .He was turned off immediately .Took me a long time to talk him into another pedi .I finally talked him into Le nails .He loved it they do a fabulous job .It's our once a month day date . Now he is bragging to all the guys how wonderful it feels .So glad he got passed the male ego of having a pedi.We really enjoy our time together having our pedis @ Le nails .Thank you for making our experience enjoyable . read more

I came as a walk-in, was promptly noticed and queried of what I wanted. The vibe was courteous and professional. I asked for "natural-looking" acrylics and left with some pretty thick, non-natural looking nails. It was partly my fault, I think, as this was my first experience getting acrylics and didn't speak up during the process. I thought maybe it was "me" thinking they were too thick but afterwards friends confirmed that, yeup, they were wayyyy too thick. The gentleman (owner perhaps?) did my acrylics and was a bit rough with my fingers, twisting them this way and that, poking at underneath my nails to keep the glue from sticking to my skin. He could have been a bit more gentle. I was surprised to not have my cuticles groomed or hands massaged with lotion, but maybe that's because it wasn't a manicure? read more

I am very surprised as I am reading these. I am a licensed manicurist and have been going to Natalie for years for acrylic nails. She does an exceptional job. The girls that work there do not have a real command of english and therefore can not carry on a conversation in a conventional manner. However they are very respectful and kind. They smile and do their best to communicate. I have never seen any of them being rude or disrespectful. I prefer a walk in style with my schedule but if you want to be able to walk in and be immediately waited on, they do take appointments. The decor could definitely use an update but other than that, I don't think you will find a nail salon that is more reasonably priced and gives that level of service. Also working on callous and cuticles is what makes the difference in a good pedicure, otherwise you could just ask for a polish change with a foot massage. read more

I hardly ever write bad reviews but this lady waxed off most of my eyebrawls and I like my brawls a little bigger. It's clear you can see when I go to get them waxed or cleaned up how they are shaped.. When I left I wanted to cry. They were not very chatty. I understand some nail salons have a hard time speaking english but they dont even try to communciate or smile. I had a gift certicate so I went here.. They did my nails to and it hurt like hell.. they grinded my skin the entire time and were really rough... I am sure they are great people but I wouldnt recommend going there..there is a great place down the road Phaze Two just across the street or even in the mall. read more

I have been getting a pedicure at Le Nails for several years. As far as I'm concerned they do the best job in town. They always spend the extra time on my feet and massaging my legs. They have always been very friendly and when making an appointment there is no waiting. I would recommend Le Nails above all others. Thank you Nina for doing such a good job. read more

I went in to get a gel manicure and it took him about 20 minutes. He didn't trim my cuticles, was really rough and seemed really irritated the entire time he did my nails. It was really uncomfortable. The place was filthy and I had no clue where he got the manicure tools from. I'm from the east coast and everything comes out of a sterilizer. read more

I recommend Le Nails to everyone, the massages are "ahhmazing", and lengthy. The prices are low, Iusually bring a few girls with me for manis and pedis, and we are always satisfied. the girls thrre are so sweet (of course i have my favorites!) hopefully I will make it into Bellingham again soon. read more

I phoned the salon around 1 PM and made an appointment with a specific person (Natalie, owners wife) for 4 p.m. same day. I arrived a half hour early, checked in and was told to come back in 30 minutes I was "too early and Natalie not here." I left and returned @ 3:55. I was told Natalie would be with me in a "little bit". Ten minutes later I was still waiting to be seated at a station. Finally a woman standing 10 feet away from me instructs me to sit at the first station and tells me to "take off your nail polish, I be right back." I nearly left then but I stayed and removed my polish. From there the experience only got worse and in a very short time. Long story short I left after the woman yelled at me for trying to let her know my nails were ready for her, after which she mean mugged me as she passed by to take someone's payment. I got up and left at that point. This was my first experience at this salon, I would not return to this salon if it were the LAST in the County! This salon's loss is another salon's gain. If you don't mind being treated disrespectfully, ignored, etc.then this is the salon for you! read more

I've read pretty tepid reviews of this place but I've always had courteous service. I only have pedicures there and they always work me in, without an appointment. They must be doing something right or they wouldn't be so busy. In their defense, English is not their first language for many who work there. And if anyone felt 'snubbed' or were not spoken to, that was most likely the reason. read more

This was the worst experience my sisters, mom and I had ever had. My sisters hands bled from the manicure, my moms legs were bruised from the calf massage and I got a fungus from the pedicure. They didn't clean any of their utensils which since my sister had blood on her hands, we found to be especially bothersome, not to mention the fact that I am going to get this fungus checked by my doctor.
