Peanut Chicken Crepe
Hesper W.

Not too crowded on a Thursday dinner so we were quickly seated. I order the peanut chicken crepe with the pasta salad and it was delicious and very filling. Would love to come back again to try the other crepes.

Pad Kee Mao (Drunken Noodles)

My friends brought me here saying this was a must try spot. It was my first time here and everything we got was delicious! We started with the ROTI WITH PEANUT SAUCE- 11.50 (pan-fried Roti canai served with our homemade peanut sauce). It was their first time getting roti here and it's safe to say this is now in their list of go to items The DUCK CURRY - 22.00(D) (roasted duck with pineapple, bell pepper, tomato and thai basil in red curry and coconut milk) was also a table favorite. It was creamy yet smooth. The duck had skin on it that was soft. Order a side or two of coconut rice to pair with it. PAD KEE MAO (DRUNKEN NOODLES) (pan fried flat rice noodle with your choice of meat, eggs, chili, onion, basil, bell pepper, tomato, zucchini, cabbage and carrot). Was also delicious. It wasn't too sweet. The noodles were soft and it came with plenty of vegetables. The menu is large. You're bound to find something you like. The lot is also big so there's no need to worry about parking.

One of the best Thai places in Fremont! Their menu is so extensive and has so many good options. My favorite dish from there so far is the pad see-ew. Their noodles and sauce just hit the spot, flavor and taste wise are both excellent. Their curries tend to be on the spicier side and also you have to order rice separately (comes in a heart shape sometimes) - but still so so good! 10/10 great place to take family or friends.

Mango Fried Fish

This is the third visit. We did not want to miss out the signature dishes of this place. So we started with the Papaya Salad, followed by Mango Fried Fish and Pad Thai. Sure enough, two out of three were impressive. The salad was as fresh as you could imagine. The fried tilapia was topped with ripe mango, red onion, basil, cilantro, and cashews. They produced a wonderful savory in your mouth. The serving was pretty fast, probably because we arrived earlier than last time. The Pad Thai was on the west side and the noodles were a little bit tangled up. The waitress explained the numbers written on the board were the lucky numbers(the rest wordings were in Thai). So it was very exotic in a sense that you don't know what they're good for. Anyway, price is reasonably on the high side. IMHO, it's worthy the re-visit.

The BEST Thai food in town! I have gone to every single Thai restaurants since moving to Union City in the last 10 years and Le Moose is #1. They have your savory and sweet with delicious crepes. Today's trip I had pan-gang curry fish, pad Thai noodles, Le Moose fried rice. The food is flavorful and the portions are generous. The music playing sets the ambiance with the cute decor. The service is amazing and attentive.

My delicious Penang chicken lunch special always has me going back for more. Lunch made with their love

I've been here one too may times now and I never do a review. I have to say this is one of the best Thai food I have ever been to. Each time I come here I order the same lunch menu. The Penang chicken lunch special and their roti. Every bite is always just right, not too spicy. The service is great as well, I always tend to order over the phone since I'm about 6 min away from the place from where I work and once I sit the food is served to me in less than 5 min. Fast service, great food and nice workers and the cleanliness of the restaurant what more can a customer ask for?! Definitely wouid and will recommend this place!

Le Moose is definitely a hidden gem! I'm obsessed with their potato curry puff--crispy, flavorful, and totally addictive. It comes with fish sauce, but I personally wish it came with curry sauce to match the filling. Still delicious! We also ordered the crab fried rice, which was packed with generous lumps of crab and sautéed onion--simple, satisfying, and full of flavor. Don't skip the coconut juice served in a real coconut shell--it's incredibly refreshing and adds a tropical touch to the meal. And the desserts? Absolutely to die for. We indulged in the brownie cheesecake crepe with ice cream and the roti with ice cream. Both were heavenly--warm, creamy, and just the right amount of sweet. Service was quick and courteous, server always check to refill water, food comes out hot and fast. Love the causal ambiance, and love the purple wall with their restaurant name. Everything we tried was bursting with flavor. Le Moose is definitely a spot I'll be coming back to!

Savory and dessert crepes made fresh and packed with goodness sure to fill you up at a reasonable price. Le Moose Crepe Cafe has held this spot in central Fremont for years now and renowned for their crepes and Thai fusion dishes. Conveniently located in a mall accessible to seemingly everything from groceries and craft/hobby store to cafes and bakeries. This mall has quite a bit of churn and plenty of parking so it's always been easy to come in and out anytime of the day. Although they're best for lunch due to the lunch specials and combos (most items come with rice; otherwise it's only a la carte), their dinner service is just as good. We came in for dinner on a weekend and it wasn't too busy and were seated promptly, which worked out great since we were in a rush to head home for the kids' nightly routine. We were all craving some crepe and ordered quickly after looking through their extensive menu of a variety of crepe filling combinations and other Thai staples like noodle and curry dishes. Duck roll - crispy exterior yet fluffy and meaty interior made for a great bite. The bits of duck meat aren't too plentiful but it was paired with vegetables and had a good balance overall. The sweet garlic sauce that is meant for dipping is delicious and easily steals the spotlight. Chicken green curry crepe - with a small bowl of curry on the side, this pocket full of meat and leafy greens filled me up! With cheese and curry also coated on the inside, each bite is meant to be smothered in the delicious green curry. My tongue couldn't get enough of this but my stomach had to keep things in check. Sunrise - this beauty of a crepe has a fried egg on top and was another hearty meal. Bacon, eggs and cheese can never go wrong! Three amigos - chicken, ham, and turkey come together in this protein rich crepe. The pesto and cheese really helps it all gel together in flavor! With each crepe came a side of cold pasta salad and it pairs really well with the dish. The balance of the sauce and ingredients provide a nice palate cleanser in between bites of crepe and protein. The service here is exceptional. From the time we were seated to departure, the staff gave us their attention and served us quickly with smiles all around. Waters were provided and refilled without prompting and for the kids, they even provided capped cups and straws. Overall, Le Moose Crepe Cafe is nice gem for a meal that is quick, filling, and good value. Savory crepes is abundant in selection here and although we didn't try their dessert crepes this time, our previous experience has been pleasant consuming the variety of fresh fruits and sweets packed in those dishes. The excellent service complements the delicious food and the spacious seating arrangement makes for a very comfortable dining experience. With prices rising everywhere, shrinkflation hasn't yet truly impacted Le Moose and as frequent customers, we are so glad to have such a resilient local business being a strong foundation for the food scene here in Fremont!

Green Curry, chipped bowl
Alyssa M.

Average Thai food at best. The papaya salad was not spicy at all, didn't have the small dried shrimp nor any chilli flakes. The Thai green curry was decent and somewhat spicy but was served to me in a chipped bowl and was kind of ridiculous after paying $18 for it that it does not come with rice and a small heart shaped serving of rice costs around $3.25. My partner's pad thai was disappointing and off putting since it was overloaded with fish sauce and that was all you could taste pretty much. I will have to commend the service and quickness of the food coming out. I'm not sure why there are so many rave reviews for this place since the food does not seem to be authentic.

Great service and waiters. They kept refilling our waters for us. The food was so delicious. Absolutely packed with flavors. Try their crepe! So good. Nicely decorated too.

Excellent ambiance as soon as we entered it lifted our spirits. So chic, instagramable, vibrant, floral walls. Food was amazing. For a Wednesday evening it was so packed, that shows how good the food is. We ordered the chef's special katsu chicken noodle in rich coconut curry broth. Omg I loved each and every bite of it. Piping hot broth, soft and crunchy noodles, perfectly cooked chicken katsu, delicious curry broth. It was a flavor bomb in my mouth. Tom yum chicken soup wasn't good. It was too sour for anyone's pallet. Green curry with coconut rice is smooth delicious and tasty. The final highlight of our meal is absolutely the banana strawberry Nutella crepe. Wow each and every bite is heavenly. Served with ice cream and whipped cream. I am really looking forward to try the Thai style crepes. Interesting combination am sure it's gonna be a hit. Service is fast, our server could have been a little more hospitable and less grumpy. Nevertheless we enjoyed our dinner and will visit again.

khao soi
Anna H.

I met up with a friend here after seeing this restaurant on Instagram during Fremont restaurant week a while back? The chicken satay and fish cake leaned more salty than sweet -- definitely up to personal preference. Our favorite appetizer that we tried was the fried tofu, since it was absolute crisp perfection. The khao soi smelled so coconutty and fragrant from the next table over and all of us were literally trying to convince each other to ask them what dish it was. The chicken was supremely and unbelievably tender, but the panko was still so crispy on the outside. The broth was a little bit like laksa? It doesn't feel spicy at first but it does start to have a little kick the more you eat it. The pad see ew was very standard, no notes. The chicken curry crepe was crispy but flavorful with the curry and it was a pretty large quantity.

Pineapple Fried Rice (with Chicken)

Le Moose Crepe Cafe & Thai Restaurant located in the Mowry East Shopping Center, close to Starbucks, Menchie's Frozen Yogurt, and next to Von's Chicken. There is plenty of parking in this center. As you walk up, you notice a few outside tables and a lot of windows facing the street for natural lighting. It's a small restaurant that could probably hold a party of 10 at most. It's geared more for smaller groups of 2-4. We did family style of: Pra Ram: choice of meat (chicken) served with mixed vegetables topped with peanut sauce (3/5). The chicken was tender and the peanut sauce was good. I was expecting it to be on a bed of spinach, but it clearly says on the menu "...mixed vegetables". Pineapple Fried Rice: Fried rice with choice of meat (chicken), pineapple, onion, egg, cashew nut, tomato, & raisin (3/5). Deluxe Set: served with deep fried whole Tilapia, Pad Thai Shrimp, Garlic Pork, Mango Salad, Spring Rolls, and steamed jasmine rice. The set came with 3 dipping sauces which were mild, spicy/vinegar based, and hot soy/fish sauce with chilis *deep fried Tilapia (3.5/5) - This was pleasantly good. All of us said, "we usually don't eat tilapia." Glad we tried it and it wasn't bad at all. *pad Thai with shrimp (4/5) - It was flavorful, saucy, and sweet. The shrimp were cooked perfectly. *Garlic Pork - full of flavor and my favorite. *Mango Salad (4/5). Crunchy, balanced with sweet and sour and refreshing. *spring rolls (3.5/5) - decent and ok. We'll be back.

My mom and I came in on a Monday around 5:30PM and ordered a few dishes and a dessert to share. We had the yellow curry plate, Pad Kee Mao, & Spicy Eggplant plate. The Spicy Eggplant & Pad Kee Mao were great as well, but similar to other places I've tried. The Yellow Curry still stood out to me the most. We then had the Mango Sticky Rice for dessert. The lady told us that their mangos aren't that ripe right now, but I thought it was still solid. Nothing crazy but still good. Prices here are much cheaper than the average Thai restaurant in the Bay, but the tiny portions reflect the price point. Still plenty enough food for one leftover meal! Place was basically empty the entire time aside from 1 or 2 takeout orders. Makes me sad because I really think they serve up some good Thai food! As far as ambiance goes, it was particularly warm when we dined in which was a bit uncomfortable. Otherwise, it's just a casual restaurant; nothing fancy.
