We stumbled in here accidentally. What a fantastic accident! First, the people that work here couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating. The food was delicious. I had a cheeseburger that was on the best bun ever, came medium rare, with salad and fries. My friend had a buckwheat chèvre crepe that was as scrumptious. For desert Zi had an apple crepe with chantilly crème. I licked the plate. My friend had casis sorbet. We couldn't have been happier and the price was reasonable.

Was so looking forward to lunch here after a few years. Memories are sometimes best left as memories. Remembered a wonderful croque madam. But three years later it unfortunately fell short. Seemed like a lot less ham and cheese. And I swear the fries were frozen. Still it is Paris.

    Smoked salmon on toast

The wife wanted to try crepes for breakfast so we found this place and decided to try it (after our first three choices indicated by Yelp were closed on a Friday!). it turned out well although service was spotty. We started with smoked salmon on toast and it was excellent, a great start to the meal. I got La Bleu crepe--tons of cheese, blue cheese, some ham, and a few cherry tomatoes. It was rather heavy from all the cheese but the flavors came together and I was absolutely stuffed. The wife got the "complete" which came with everything and a barely cooked egg on top for flavor. She liked it a lot, and we definitely got our fill of crepes. My only complaints are twofold. First, 9.10 Euro for a pint of 1664 beer? Really? Second, service was questionable. We noted that at least 3-4 tables that were seated after us got their food before us while we sat there quite a long time. Can't really explain why because crepes do not take that long to make. The place was not cheap. It came to almost 50 Euro for breakfast, which is close to $70 USD. Overall, though, it was a good experience and the wife was happy with her crepes.

Group of 11 went here. It's more of a diner/breakfast place. We had to force the kids to not get sweet crepes but dinner crepes. I had the potato/cheese crepe which was very good. In France, wine is the same price as a Coke. That means soda is super expensive and wine is really cheap. Luckily, I'm on the wine side. Service was good. Prices were reasonable. All the kids found something to eat.

My favorite restaurant in Paris, hands down. Every time I am in Paris, I always make the trip to eat here, whether it's outside or inside on the second floor overlooking the street. Everything I tried there has always been the best, whether it was a special steak hache with legumes (veggies) and/or potato balls, savory crepes, or sweet crepes. Everything there is good. They give you a lot of food, so make sure you save up the room. The sweet chocolate and banana crepes are a great finishing touch to dinner (and they definitely load it up with either chocolate or nutella!). I personally love the ham, cheese, and egg savory crepe, whether for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. A definite must if you want a taste of French crepes.

Great service, really friendly. Tried the typical tourist food Snails for entree, which were delicious by the way (garlic, butter and parsley)! With Moules A la Creme and Moules Marinaire for mains, servings were big and mussels were ok, flavours could have better but on the whole. Very good.

Soup à l'ognon / onion soup - not the best one I've eaten, but still SO good.

Found this place by chance, and fell in love with it. The food was very good, everyone was so friendly and helpful and the area around it is so, so nice!

I would not go here if you have other options. We tried 5 dishes and only the entrecôte from the today's special was ok. The recommended mussels by the staff were awful, this is the 1 time I had so bad mussels, really sad. The crepes was also not good.

For food, I would rate this place 3, but because the great wine prices, giving it 4 stars. Ate here twice and had 2 bottles of wine the first time (25 eur for Mouton Cadet) and ordered cured meat (menu had as "cooked" meat) and mussels. Very nice portion size, so very happy. The first night, the waiter was very friendly and even brought more basket of baguette for us to enjoy with our 2nd bottle of wine. The second time, went for lunch and another bottle of wine. Had steak des boeuf with egg and found myself staring, instead of a steak, but hamburger meat. Probably was my fault. The meat had no real flavor. But, the egg was amazing and fresh.

Perfect late night dinner. Mussels were amazing! Crepes superb! Friendly staff. Highly recommend.

Delicious Mussels with French Fries for 12.90 €

Lovely attentive staff, great ambiance (sitting outside in a very vibrant cute avenue ;) and delicious reasonable food. I had mussels (they gave me a huge pot full of mussels) and French fries. The mussels were amazingly well seasoned and super fresh! The fries were typical French and were quite yummy. All in all I paid for my meal: 12.90 €. Pricey but that's Paris :) Tip: Definitely try the mussels!

Don't eat pasta here. Craving for something other than duck and mussels in Paris I saw penne on the menu and dashed in. While our waiter was super nice the food he recommended did not measure up. The penne with tomato and basil sauce was probably the single most horrible meal I've ever had in my entire life. It was penne with the blendest smallest quantity of some mushed tomatos. I had to dump 2 packets of salt on it to eat like 5 pieces. The prego sauce from target would taste 100x better. WTF?! On a Sunday afternoon the place is packed with drinkers and smokers and their cheese platters looks decent but let me repeat -don't get their pasta.

On my first day in Paris, I was dying for a nap after not sleeping on my overnight flight but 'how…read moreto beat jet lag' tutorials advocate staying awake until local bedtime. I knew I wouldn't be able to make it until my usual bedtime of midnight-ish (that's a liberal ish), but 9pm seemed reasonable. It was a chilly fall night and a pint of Guinness or two sounded like the ideal nightcap, err, sleep inducer. A quick search on my Yelp app and a brisk 10-minute walk later, I arrived at The Quiet Man. Like most bars in Paris, the Quiet Man is tiny... especially tiny, even. However, the diminutive size was far less intimidating than walking into a bar filled with loud, jovial men and only one stool to be snagged. I never took my eyes off it while waiting for my perfectly-poured Guinness and stealthily made my way over before pouncing: all mine! Over the next 2 hours, I 'met' the guys next to me several times (close proximity is a powerful instigator of friendship), pretended like I understood everyone's Fast french while nodding and smiling, was gifted a Guinness from one of my elbow-mates, and embarked on a deep and lengthy political conversation in English with a 60-ish Frenchman who had previously lived in London and Dublin (sidenote: this convo took place right before the U.S. presidential election and everyone and their far-removed cousin expressed interest in hearing my opinion). A couple of Guinness later, I was sufficiently spent. And this cool unassuming dive, like its friendly patrons, won't be soon forgotten. PS: There's nothing quiet about the Quiet Man ;)

Unbelievably awesome bar... Music downstairs, meat & guinness on top. Best bar in Paris...fact!read more

I hope so…read more This was my first stop in the Marais after noticing Cambridge Public House earned a respectable spot on "The World's 50 Best Bars" list. Will it clear up your jet lag? Who cares. Will you be satisfied even if it doesn't? I think so. Beverages: 5/5. Cocktails are on rotation and beautifully chilled (which helps with the jet-lag). Cigarette After Sex. Memorial Story. Last Chance. Stars Align. All were stellar selections, with the Cigarette After Sex capturing the essence of that unique feeling--before vapes flooded the world. I even returned 48 hours later to help numb my feet after a day spent meandering through the Marais and Musee Carnavalet. Cuisine: You're here for the cocktails, not for the food. That said, the meat pie and the sausage roll were decent. That's the move. Service: 5/5. My fellow Americans... The staff here is hella cool. They made me feel at home despite not knowing any words beyond, "Bonjour," and they were generous with refilling my glass of water. Say less. Actually, the only minor annoyance was other Americans babbling loud AF next to me at the bar. Ambiance: 5/5. Chill. Solid playlist. Dope interior. I look forward to stopping in again.
