The food, amazing and the portions are perfect. The prices, though, are out of control. First off, we have to talk about the staff. The wait staff is friendly and helpful. They do their best to accommodate you and any questions you may have. They'll help you with menu options as well. For instance, the menu is extremely limited and it has no sign of a kid's menu. However, there is a kid's menu and they will take you through it, just ask. Btw, the kids menu is a drink, chicken strips or burger with fries, and a small dessert, which is different flavors of ice cream. The restaurant is gorgeous. With an atmosphere that not only relaxes you but makes you excited to be transported to a large pseudo speakeasy, the restaurant is perfectly decorated and staged. Plentiful seating throughout this enchanted, multilevel tavern exist, so I don't think you'll need to worry about a reservation. Also, just know that the bathrooms are on the top floor and they are very clean. Unlike the food menu, the drink menu is huge. I had an old fashion and it was good just not the best I've had. There was no cherry and I couldn't taste the bitters. My wife had a Les blues which just tasted like strong grapefruit juice. The drinks were my least favorite thing about this place. The food was good but not €108 good. We had the kid's menu burger, two fish and chips, and a pulled pork burger. All was delicious and filling. Fries come with all we had. The fish and chips are just fries and one large piece of fish (no bones, thank God!). The good news is that even though expensive, the food came out fast and hot. Overall, this isn't a bad place, but know you're going to spend at least around €100 on lunch for four people. Enjoy.

We actually approached this little pub via the back alley and I didn't realize how trendy and cool it was until I saw the front of it. As it was, we walked in the back entrance and were seated in that small area, which worked out perfectly since it was a little more quiet back there. The main floor of the pub, which I presume connects with the front entrance, seemed a little more lively. But I actually really liked the more quiet area in the back. We were seated at a nice table and had a great view of the really beautiful bar back there too. The restaurant itself is really fun, with some neon and some "cool" flare. It's a fun space to look at. Foodwise, we started with the salmon gravelax, which is like salmon sushi or crudo. It came with some cream and some orange zest and was pretty tasty with the bread provided. Like bagel and lox but European. I got the fish and chips, which was a bit of a flyer but I kind of just felt like fish and chips (even though we were in London on this trip and I didn't get them there lol). The fish was fine - nice thick batter and crispy hot, just what you want. The fish was white and flaky. and cooked well. It did need salt, but I tend to think everything needs salt. The fries were actually really delicious. And my husband got some Asian fusion noodle thing that he said was fine. Our service was decent but not exceptional. Still it was a nice little gastropub type meal and a nice break from all the super rich French food! We would return.

Stopped in for dinner touring the latin quarter. Wife and I just wanted a good burger, some fries, and to rest a while. We got what we wanted. Burger was delicious. For appetizers we also had fried risotto balls and a baked Camembert served with crusty bread for scooping it up. All were good. Wine selection was not good. They had no, zero, french red wines in stock. Had something else I don't even remember that was just so so.

Cool vibe, clean, good drink menu. Several different spaces across a few floors. Nice bathrooms but you've gotta climb and climb! Didn't try food. I'd come back for the vibe. It was nice and chill at 17h.

Can't beat the atmosphere of sitting outside having a drink in a Paris version of Diagonal Alley.

Came 06/03/25, drinks were great. Got the Mai Tai and the Pornstar Martini. The pub is visually just as great.

Food and service were great! And the ambiance for taking in a Roland Garros match was perfect!

Don't come here for pizza - no flavor and quite expensive. Very cool decor and drinks were ok.

On my first day in Paris, I was dying for a nap after not sleeping on my overnight flight but 'how…read moreto beat jet lag' tutorials advocate staying awake until local bedtime. I knew I wouldn't be able to make it until my usual bedtime of midnight-ish (that's a liberal ish), but 9pm seemed reasonable. It was a chilly fall night and a pint of Guinness or two sounded like the ideal nightcap, err, sleep inducer. A quick search on my Yelp app and a brisk 10-minute walk later, I arrived at The Quiet Man. Like most bars in Paris, the Quiet Man is tiny... especially tiny, even. However, the diminutive size was far less intimidating than walking into a bar filled with loud, jovial men and only one stool to be snagged. I never took my eyes off it while waiting for my perfectly-poured Guinness and stealthily made my way over before pouncing: all mine! Over the next 2 hours, I 'met' the guys next to me several times (close proximity is a powerful instigator of friendship), pretended like I understood everyone's Fast french while nodding and smiling, was gifted a Guinness from one of my elbow-mates, and embarked on a deep and lengthy political conversation in English with a 60-ish Frenchman who had previously lived in London and Dublin (sidenote: this convo took place right before the U.S. presidential election and everyone and their far-removed cousin expressed interest in hearing my opinion). A couple of Guinness later, I was sufficiently spent. And this cool unassuming dive, like its friendly patrons, won't be soon forgotten. PS: There's nothing quiet about the Quiet Man ;)

Unbelievably awesome bar... Music downstairs, meat & guinness on top. Best bar in Paris...fact!read more

Yes, go check this place out--even if you're jet lagged. Is that straightforward enough? I hope so…read more This was my first stop in the Marais after noticing Cambridge Public House earned a respectable spot on "The World's 50 Best Bars" list. Will it clear up your jet lag? Who cares. Will you be satisfied even if it doesn't? I think so. Beverages: 5/5. Cocktails are on rotation and beautifully chilled (which helps with the jet-lag). Cigarette After Sex. Memorial Story. Last Chance. Stars Align. All were stellar selections, with the Cigarette After Sex capturing the essence of that unique feeling--before vapes flooded the world. I even returned 48 hours later to help numb my feet after a day spent meandering through the Marais and Musee Carnavalet. Cuisine: You're here for the cocktails, not for the food. That said, the meat pie and the sausage roll were decent. That's the move. Service: 5/5. My fellow Americans... The staff here is hella cool. They made me feel at home despite not knowing any words beyond, "Bonjour," and they were generous with refilling my glass of water. Say less. Actually, the only minor annoyance was other Americans babbling loud AF next to me at the bar. Ambiance: 5/5. Chill. Solid playlist. Dope interior. I look forward to stopping in again. Buen provecho.

The drinks are not only fun but having half size allowed us to try a few things. While the food was more "snack" size it was still plenty for us. As expected it was a loud bar style atmosphere but not so loud that we couldn't have a good conversation. Great place, highly recommend!
