We only came for drinks but the staff were super friendly helped us by speaking English and they were dog friendly. Would recommend for a drink and some people watching :)

Our first meal in Paris, 2019. Arrived Gare du Nord from Amsterdam Central and we were famished. The Thalys dining car reminded me of Amtrak. The offerings were not so good. Anyway - this was round the corner from our place, had a correct menu and friendly faces, so of course. Escargot, Foie Gras pate, Salmon Tartare, Pizza, they got all of that. And of course some Prosecco (for 34EU, which I found later around the corner grocery for 13EU LOL). Price of service. Good stuff, nothing too fancy but very satisfying.

The brunch is to die for! The terrace is pretty nice (covered in the winter and open in the sun in summer)

Apparently breakfast isn't much of a thing in France. Came in wanting a sit down nice breakfast but the selection was extremely limited. They don't acommodate egg white only here--must be an American thing-- but the three egg breakfast was so overpriced at €8,5 and was sopping with oil. I had to use two napkins to blot away the wetness. Despite that, the eggs were perfectly cooked and the yolks were so orange you could tell they were free range. The juice was delicious and fresh pressed. The croissant in the basket were nice and it also came with apricot jam. Very simple but pretty expensive. Service was just okay.

I was in town for a few days, and we were walking around looking for restaurants, at the end we ended choosing this restaurant because the prices were good and the food sounded good!! Let me tell you that the food I had here was the best food I ever had in my life. I had the chicken with lemon and It was very enjoyable that I could've have eaten another plate!! My entire family had great things to say about the food too!! I recommend it! and out waiter was very nice and helpful!

Great service, staff spoke English, my wife had a custom egg omelette and I had the bacon cheeseburger. Both were excellent. Staff offered free Wi-Fi and the prices were very reasonable, great place for a casual quick bite.

So the little red door has a cute red door but the bouncer lets you in through another door (novelty observed haha). The man takes your jacket and umbrella (what a gentleman!) and sat us on the second floor. While the space between the couch and the seats were rather small, we were able to manage. I got the permaculture and resilience. The resilience is a club favorite and my favorite too! The way the sorghum, pineapple sage (syrup), pasquet cognac, and savanna rum all tied together was a blessing. I was going to get a third but I was tipsy by my second drink. My first drink was the permaculture and while I was considered it would be strong, it didn't seem strong to me. I love clarified dairy in alcohol so this was a win in my book. It consists of chestnut, butter, wakaze umeshu, avallen Calvados. The bar let's you stay for an hour but if you sit elsewhere, you can stay as long as you want. 5 stars and I hope to come back someday!

The bar exudes an old world charm with oak paneled walls adorned with vintage Hemingway photos and memorabilia. They had an impressive lineup of signature cocktails, but in a rare flash of memory from English Lit 101, I felt compelled to channel Hemingway's Jake Barnes in The Sun Also Rises, and chose Champagne instead. As expected the service was flawless. Immediately upon being seated, a young lady brought us olives and mix nuts in a divided dish. The waiter soon followed to take our initial order. Pro tip- They open at 5 pm so get there 10-15 minutes before to stand in line. We got there at 4:45 and there were several people ahead of us. It's a small intimate bar that only seats about 20 something people and it filled up within minutes after we were seated. We saw multiple people getting turned away and when we left, there was a long line at the door. Cheers!!
