Beware. We gave this place one too many chances. We took our boys here a couple of times and things were okay when we wanted to get their hair trimmed. Nothing special. We even gave them a second chance after they completely over booked and skipped us on one visit. I was never sold on the cuts but my wife thought the barbers kind and givien they were local, I went along. Bad mistake. On our last visit our son wanted a fade. Okay simple enough. That is what we requested. But what we got was this freakish bowl cut where she used the zero clipper on the sides and I don't know what on the top. Horrible. My son was so traumatized that he wore a hood at school for two weeks. Have you seen that Jack In the Box commercial? Then you seen my son. Never again. Love this place. The girls are great, and give you the cut you ask for! I used to go in and ask for a particular style, which always worked out well- but now I just give them vague parameters and let them to whatever they like! I've always been pleased, and don't go anywhere else for a haircut anymore. They're very reasonably priced, accommodating, and do a good job. You can walk-in and usually not have to wait long (I've gone in and waited for anywhere from 1-4 people to go before me) I usually call ahead and make an appointment for later that day. I was going to Galaxy Nails on Clayton Road to get my eyebrows done but the lady JACKED me up the last time I went there. She made my eyebrows totally uneven and I was forced to let them grow out and find someone who could fix the mess. I was recommended to Le Cuts and told I HAD to ask for Trina. Now I know why! TRINA SAVED MY EYEBROWS! I went in there and showed her a picture of the shape I wanted. She looked it it quickly and said she could do that. At first, I was nervous because it didn't seem like she even took the time to look at the picture and I wasn't sure if she really understood what I wanted. Boy was I wrong. When she handed me the mirror and asked me if they looked okay, I was speechless. They look amazing and I am so happy with the job she did. She took her time and I felt like I was a piece of art being worked on. Made sure every detail was on point and you can tell when you look at the end result. I walked in without an appointment and even though each of the ladies were finishing up appointments they got to me pretty quickly. Normally I avoid haircuts because I get very shy and uncomfortable but the younger lady (not the famous Trina) made me feel so at ease! I often have trouble explaining what I want too (again, nervousness) but with my minimal request of "um, very short" she clarified if I wanted the top short as well, how much hair off, and even asked if it was short enough when she was done. Overall it was one of the most satisfying hair cuts I've ever had. The shop is spacious and clean, and I only paid $25 (without tip) for a wash, cut, and blow dry! Will be my new go to. This place is awesome! I took my 2 year old daughter here and was really nervous they were just going to give her a crappy haircut because "she's two and who cares?" But the guy there did a FABULOUS job!!! He cut a perfect a-line and took so much care to make sure it looked absolutely wonderful. This said so much to me that if they're going to put that much care into my toddler's little haircut, they will for mine. Definitely going there again! The first time I came here for a haircut it was fine. The second time I had the same gal cut it and she must have had a bad day, which in turn made it a bad day for me. She layered it using a razor and as a result it turned out to be a frizzy mess on my ends. Many months later was my final visit. I thought since I had time before my nail appointment next door, I would get a trim. The only person available was the male. I asked him to trim my outgrown layers and not to use a razor. I told him what happened last time. So instead he proceeded to use the shears cutting upwards on the ends. OMG, the worse cut ever in my life! I normally don't have frizzy hair and even after he styled it the end result was a frizzy mess! It looks as though the only one there that knows how to cut hair is Trina. Will use an anonymous name, but I used to be a regular at this business. Always came in and gave good tips because they were really good about hair cuts. However, I received a haircut twice from a very recent person that started working there. (Not going to say names) The first time, you could tell it was her first time too, she wanted me to inform everything that she cut and was very hesitant about cutting hair. I realized it was her first time and didnt say anything about the haircut, but it was gawd awful. The other hair cutter realized she needed help, and ended up cutting my hair so i was fine with it. The second time I came, the same person came out, but I thought why not, maybe she was having a bad day. It took her about an hour just to cut my hair, and she spent a very long time cutting it. It hadnt been thinned out, she even removed the hair collector collar so all the hair fell inside my shirt, and it was just a very bad time. Im sorry to inform to Le Cuts, although it has been more than ten years since I became a regular, Im very disappointed to say it is not worth the business. read more

I have taken my daughter to this place a few times to get hair cuts. It's close to my home, they're cheap and they have "walk-ins welcome" posted on their window so I thought it was really convenient. The first time I took her the lady that cut her hair seemed intimidated by my daughter's curly hair. We just wanted a trim so I figured it was no big deal. How could you mess it up, right? Well, she trimmed very little of it, sent her home with damp, frizzy hair and I ended up having to take my daughter somewhere else a week later to get a real trim. A couple of years later we decide to try it again because of the convenience. Now my daughter is 12 and she wants a cut. I know they advertise kids cuts for $11.00 but I paid $30 including a tip. I just figured she no longer fell into that category. No big deal...$30 for a haircut is still pretty inexpensive. Then we get home and after she dries her own hair and styles it we realize there's not much of a difference in the way it looks. I could have done it myself and had a better outcome but my daughter is okay with it so I let it go. Fast forward a few months and we decide to go back for one more try...maybe we'll get this Trina person that other people seem to like. We walk in and receive unwelcoming greetings by the same lady that we saw before and Trina. Then we sit for about five minutes until Trina asks if we have an appointment. I say, "No, we don't. Do you have...". Before I could even finish getting my words out this Trina person cuts me off by simply saying, "No" without making any eye contact, no apology , not even an offer to make an appointment...just the rolling of the eyes. This place has had more chances than they deserved from me. I'm shocked that they have the rating that they do. I will never go back and I will continue to tell other people about the HORRIBLE experiences I've had there. I wish I could give them 0 stars. read more
