I came here today for the very first time. I had a 10am appointment with Lo. She is nice but seems to have not much experience. She kept asking me the same questions over and over after I had texted her exactly what I wanted a day before. I came in for highlights, color, and a haircut. I needed gray coverage. She takes a very long time talking when I just wanted her to start. She also burned my scalp with the straightener. She was doing a test with a strip of my hair and used a straightener for heat. I decided to cancel the hair dye and she only did a hair wash and haircut. I walked out at 11:25 with just a haircut. 1 hr and 25 mins waiting with just a haircut!! Btw none of the other hair dressers jumped in to help her or take over. (It seems like this is a family business).... It was so embarrassing Lo was speaking loud and we were going back and forth on the same topic. Other customers listening. Tbh I should have not even been charged $65 for a 5 min haircut. There's also a tip that is automatically calculated and it totaled $78! If I could no stars! read more

She was extremely attentive, listened to my requests and followed each one perfectly! She took her time and within a very reasonable timeline provided me the haircut I requested (I was on an 60 minute lunch break). Friendly, easy to hold a conversation with. Which in my case isn't essential to me personally, but made the experience even more enjoyable. Rate was reasonable for someone of her talent, so no complaints there. Although 3% credit card charge, vemo users could save that additional cost. I was fine with and understood the 3% charge so no issues there. No pressure or request to leave a review. She made sure the haircut was as requested, and made sure after washing my hair I had no hair itching me to death when I returned back to work. (MUCH appreciated) Attention to detail is on point. I use to go to this other salon and they always try to change my mind and I end up walking out with very damaged hair and sometimes-orange hair (when I wanted blond)! My hair was down to my waist but wanted to change things up. My sister-in-law recommended Candice. Probably the best Supercuts haircut I've had...if I went to Supercuts instead. I don't get my hair cut for like two years at a time because I can never find a stylist who can do anything right with my hair and this was no different. I spent an hour in a chair just to have my hair washed, trimmed, and straightened and spent $60 for it when I could have had the same quality service at Supercuts for way less. I was hoping for some actual style to be applied to my hair and asked for the stylist to do something different to my hair and explained all my troubled areas. I haven't been going to Jessica for that long but she has done amazing things to my hair. When I first went to her I had a nasty red/Orange color in my hair that I hated. I wanted to go blonde but I knew it was going to be a long process. 8 months later I'm finally to the blonde I want!! Jessica is the only person I trust with my hair. So I decided to get my hair a balayage but with baby highlights and so I gave the lady the picture of what I wanted and so when she was " done " it looked yellow and my whole head was blonde which was not what I wanted so I asked the hair stylist Christy if she could make it less yellow so she gave me another "toner"and it made it this light orange with blonde highlight and it had some green in it so recently when I went to get it fixed my new hair stylist noticed that she had put a permanent hair color instead of just a toner in my hair so now it's harder for me to go blonde she also advised me that the way she did my hair was hand done and wasn't professional I really wish I would've never gone to the mane gallery it was a huge waist of my money (195$). I highly recommend if you want any of the more modern hair colors like a balayage or highlights or something along those lines don't go here go somewhere like Vanity hair salon it's the same pricing and they do it so good at Vanity in downtown concord read more
