I recently came here to get my hair done by one of my old coworkers (Shelby)! I really love the ambiance of the salon, it's very cute! While I was getting my hair done, I noticed everyone else who was also getting their's done as well. I believe all the girls that work there do a really good job. I really wanted to love this place but this place was nothing special based on my visit. I think the only good thing that came from this place was that I was able to book a last minute appointment but based on my experience I could above waited. The place is located in the Martinez area and thankfully there was lots of parking (as this can be tricky sometimes). I was told to text prior to going inside and my total wait time was about 5 minutes. There was one other person getting their hair done at the time so it was pretty. The person that did my hair was alright with her customer service but wasn't at all too friendly, which sort of sucks but it is what it is. My hair looked fine and the price was a bit higher than usual but all in all, I won't be back here. read more

Just had my hair done at blush salon with Amy and I couldn't be more thrilled. It had been about 8 or so months since I last had my hair done and I was not sure how it would go. You never know what you get when you walk into a new place and you never know how a person will be doing your hair, but Amy was more than accommodating. I showed her a picture of my last hairdo and said i would like it as blonde as she could get it and short. She was very friendly and gentle and got me in and out in a few hours. She did a fantastic job and the price was great. Will definitely be coming back. read more

Ive been going to her since she started at blush, from being platinum blonde, deep brown, chopped short hair, tape in extensions, and literally dying my hair every color in the rainbow, i have never left her without feeling absolutely beautiful. Its like hanging out with an old best friend every-time i come in!! She is so caring and you can just tell she wants to do the best she can. I dont think I could ever trust anyone with my hair again!! Oh, wait dont even get me started on the hair washes, GOD DAMN. Brought my daughter to this place yesterday in hopes they could give her an appointment as soon as possible since the other place wouldn't be able to see her for another two weeks. Blush was able to squeeze her in today. I don't now much about hair, but to me it looks like they did an awesome job. From the beginning, they asked what look was she wanting, they talked her through the whole thing making sure it was exactly what she wanted. Let me tell you, a smiling 16yr old after anything these days, is a job well done. They now have a customer for life. Thank you to the ladies at blush for not sending me home with a pissed off teenager, and special thanks to Gianna for working on Alana's hair. Sorry for the amount of tip, Alana didn't hear me when I said I transferred extra $$$ into her account, she was afraid her card would get declined. She'll make it up next time. read more

I was so excited to get me hair cut here because reviews and pictures are great and price doesn't seem ridiculous. Called and emailed multiple times. They say they will call me back but don't. Even gave me a time frame of when they would call back and it's been over an hour since they were supposed to call. I wish they would just tell me nothing is available rather than ignore me. I made an appt with Gianna after not having a professional stylist cut my hair for over 4 years (trying to cut my own hair at home,) so I finally decided to get a new look and I'm very happy I did it. I have been going to Kailin for a little over a year and she does an amazing job with cut, trim, touching up my blonde, and styling! We have been talking about tape-in extensions for some time and I recently decided to have her do them. After they were put in and trimmed I noticed that they were about an inch shorter than my actual hair in the back on each side. I asked Kae about it in person and she just said that is how it is supposed to be and to sleep on it and wash it. I did just that and then reached out to her the next morning asking if we could fix it because it looked very off and I got no response. Here we are 5 weeks later, I reached out again asking if we could move them up or take them out and she said she no longer wants to do my hair. Her reasoning was because I was unhappy with the extensions (which I was). I think she is great at all things hair outside of tape in extensions. I went to another salon to get my extensions fixed, the stylist is an educator for tape in extensions, she said they were put in completely wrong, they aren't supposed to be cut, and the placement made it impossible for me to put my hair up. I hope that Kae continues to work on her client communication and take an extension class or re-education moving forward. She should not be practicing tape ins. read more
