When I arrived, I was the only customer there, and oddly enough, they still weren't ready to open on time. You'd expect faster service with no crowd, but that wasn't the case. I ordered shrimp, which you'd think would be their specialty. Instead, they came out overcooked and rubbery. At that point, I was starving, so I powered through it, but it wasn't enjoyable. The outdoor seating looks inviting at first--right on the water, with a breeze and a view--but don't expect to sip a beer slowly. The sun hits hard, and your drink will warm up quickly. Unless you're drinking fast or don't mind a warm beer, it's not the most comfortable spot to sit and relax. Overall, the location has promise, but the execution misses the mark. With better food and service, it could be a go-to spot. As it stands, I wouldn't recommend it--especially if you're coming for the shrimp or hoping to enjoy a slow drink in the sun.

The weather was beautiful, so we were able to sit outdoors. I ordered the coconut shrimp, and it came out in a coconut shell! That meal has lived rent free in my mind ever sense. They sell the fish by the kg and we were able to decide how we wanted each filet prepared. We decided to get one tempura, one garlic butter (my personal favorite) , one whole fish fried, and one other way which I forget. They even made a soup out of the head and tail left over from the filets. The best part was the price. It was surprisingly affordable. And came out to less than $10 per person even with drinks etc. This place is great when you want something delicious and not touristy. What a great treat.

We ordered a mango margarita and Tecate. The margarita came with a tehine rim. I just wiped it off. That is becoming so popular. I decided to indulge in the banana dessert and I am glad I did. It came with a show. That was fun and the dessert was delicious. We were there earlier in the evening and we saw many couples and families.
