I saw it get poured out and put right back in the cabinet drawer with the others. Very clean! Gel nails look great and last for 3 weeks every time. The pedicures last for a long time, too.

The one star is because I had a pedicure here a few months ago and it was done well. Yesterday was a different story. I made an appointment two days in advance, said what service I wanted, and gave my name and phone number. When I arrived I reiterated my appointment and service. I was told "pick a color". I bring my own. 20 minutes later no one had said anything to me, so I left. Obviously, they don't honor appointments. Maybe try as a walk in and hope for the best! read more

I recently went for a simple pedicure, and what should have taken 45 minutes to an hour took 2 hours. Very pushy woman constantly tried to talk me into things I repeatedly said no to, and she wasn't the one doing my pedicure. The person doing it must have been new because he was so slow that she finally came over and finished the polish then someone else came over to do the top coat. . Stopped in for a pedicure to get some tlc on my toes. After asking the pedicurist to go easy because she was hurting my toes, she kept up digging with her tool under my big toe. I told her to stop because now my toe is bleeding. A week later, I have a full blown toe infection that I am now on antibiotics and missed work because I waitress part time at night. I went back to Ivy to show mngr "Kenneth" my Dr note and my toe/swollen foot all the way up my ankle and he denied giving me his Ins Cos name and did not want to be at fault and shrugged it off. I showed him a pic of my toes drying because I sent it to my friend as shown. Then these next pics are of my infected toe. I had a follow up appt with my Dr and she extended my antibiotics for another 2 days because it's still red. I would never get a Mani/pedi from this place again. It's not worth my health and they are so rude. He didn't even offer a refund!!!! Just wanted to add to this. Just last week, my toenail finally grew off so the new one underneath is visible. I walked in without an appointment for a polish change. While the technician is removing the polish, I looked down at the towel spread across the table and there were fingernail clippings all over it! I have to question the cleanliness of this facility. Would not recommend it to anyone read more

My nails were fine until the color. The color I chose was on the lighter side meaning it needed more than one coat. After three coats my nails were still translucent so I simply asked for another coat. Rather than adding another one, the women doing my nails said no. I went home with mediocre nails that I wasn't to happy with. Shaping and tips were done well. read more

I recently had the pedicure from hell from an inexperienced young woman who spoke no english and understood even less. Her ineptitude left me with an infected toenail. I wound up in Urgent Care" in California a couple of days later. I hate to think what the bills for all of that will amount to. I've patronized this nail salon since it opened, but since Tyler moved on and there are new managers and nail technicians, is has gone downhill fast. This salon just sold at the end of April 2014. I had never been there before that so I can't say anything about the previous owners. But I was a customer of the new owner at a different salon. I love her work. She does an excellent job and is very fluent in English. Everyone is friendly, it's clean and they provide an excellent service. The new owner is working hard to increase the products and services offered too. I highly recommend them. I get a pedicure every 2 to 3 weeks and I've had shellac manicures there as well as gel. Amy is wonderful on nails or pedicures and Tony does amazing gels. read more

I got acrylics and I had them do a design I don't think they have done before, it came out a little sloppy but other than that the place was fantastic. While there, six of my fingers were sliced open by the nail filer and left bleeding. There was no apology. I went to get dip, and they wanted to put my fingers, now with open cuts into the container they use for every customer. That can cause infection not only for me, but can cause issues for future clients. I refused, saying I did not want to do any polish as I was concerned about health and safety. I'm not sure if it was just the nail tech I got, but I had a dip manicure done and was very unhappy with the end result. The polish does not look smooth on my nails (it's very uneven and lumpy looking) and the nail color is much lighter towards the top of the nails. :( He also didn't really do much with my cuticles. When he filed my nails he clipped some of my skin on my pointer finger which stung and still does the next day. He was very nice, but I would not go there again, or if I did I would make sure not to get him. read more
