I have been going here since they open and they are wonderful. I'm so glad they have build a business and been able to stay open for at least 12 years in the same location. I have gone to other places over the years and the manicure never stays as long or is in as well done. My pedicure last 6 weeks easy and my manicure have been lasting almost three weeks. The service was very rushed and could tell the woman doing it was trying to get it done as fast as possible. I've had acrylics done before and I'd rather sit in the chair an extra 20-30 minutes and have them take their time then rush like that. She cut my skin with the electric file a bunch of times and was filing so hard it was painful. Only scheduled for this place because my regular salon didn't have an appt available and I needed them done. I tipped her more than I should have when I was paying but definitely will not be going back. read more

I've lived in Lee for many years and frequent this nail salon. I occasionally go other places near my work but I prefer Cozy. They are all very nice, recognize me by name and they do take appts. if you call and honor them when you get there so you don't have to wait. I highly recommend this nail salon. read more

Stopped in for a pedicure on a rainy Saturday afternoon and was surprised that they were able to fit me in after about a 15 minute wait. The first thing to do is to wash their hands and then pick out a color. They definitely take cleanliness seriously, which I appreciated. I went in for a 2pm appointment. They had me wait for 45 minutes to just soak off my acrylics and that was all I was there for. When I finally sat down the guy shaved my nails down to almost nothing and when it hurt I pulled my hand away. These people have no idea what they're doing and do not care about your nails!! Honestly I've been going here for a while the people super nice, the prices fair. But someting changed. I went in for a routine fill and my nails seemed rushed. I paid a good amount for them and thought I would be ok for another 2-4 weeks. But then the nails kept braking and falling off. Now I work with my hands, but I used to do my own nails, and I know how acrylic works. They shouldn't jusy pop off. I go back to get them fixed and the vibe is different. It seemed like they were unhappy to help. I got told sometimes the nails just need to be re done but I had just got them re done 4 days prior. This shocked me and throughout, the rest of the appointment while my nails were being done, I kept getting told how I probably broke them or how the nails were to old. To then clearly being made fun of for it when I got up and went to wash my hands after being asked. I felt super uncomfortable, and I didn't really like it. Now I'm here one nail broken again and I took super good care of them this time. I just don't understand what changed and I especially didn't feel like I needed to pay for a whole new set. I'm upset and bothered by my nails one bad time turned into this. Out of all the good times I've gone. I'm just mostly confused. read more

I went to Cozy Salon with my two children. They were sitting quietly and once my two year old sat on the floor watching his iPad (keep in mind, they never offered him a seat so he was standing. The lady at the salon started shaking her head and told me that I could come back on a day where I did not have any children. I politely told her that I always have children as my husband works and I stayed home with them. She continued my nails and then made comments 2 to 3 more times about me having children in the salon. I finally asked her if she wanted us to leave, my children were sitting there quietly. She told me that she did not want children in the salon and that I was making other people feel uncomfortable. It Got to the point where it was so uncomfortable that people waiting ended up leaving. She ultimately refused to do my nails to completion and told me to come back when I don't have children. this is concerning very upsetting to me and any other mother that is trying to get their nails done. Not all people have family members that will help them or that are close enough to watch their children and everyone deserves to be pampered. I now have to go to my professional family photos and baptism this weekend with unfinished nails, I will only be telling people in the surrounding area about my experience, but I will never return to that nail salon. This was the most horrific experience that I've ever had. If I could give this a zero out of five stars I would. read more

My daughter and I visited the salon for a back to school pedicure about a week ago. When we left my daughter mentioned that her stylist cut her a bit and that her toe felt uncomfortable. I asked if the tools she used came out of a solution and my daughter said that they just came from a bin. We cleaned her feet and applied disenfectant when we got home. A few days later her toe began to look red and started to weep. We visited her doctor for antibiotics and were told that we should stay far away from this salon! read more

I went to cozy nails for a pedicure. I was disappointed. The woman I had skipped steps in the process. I know because my boyfriend was receiving more steps. It was $30 for a pedicure that was really short and not well done. My toe nails are different shapes, some circle some square. They did not treat my feet at all instead did a little sweep with the pumice stone for only 5 seconds. The massage given with the pedicure was not good either. Extremely disappointed and would not pay $30 for this ever again. Highly do not recommend. Update: 2 days later and my toes are chipped. Terrible read more

Covid procedure was great! They took temperatures at the door. Advised to use hand sanitizer then sign in then wash your hands. Brought the color options to me in the pedicure chair. Had one of the greatest pedicures I've ever had, very long leg massage which was great because I'm 8 months pregnant. Minimal Talking (which I kind of prefer) and just an all around good job. Will defy one back for a pedicure. I did not have any hand work done so can't speak to that. read more

Called and made an appointment for 3 pedicures. The 2 people I was with were almost finished while I person waited. In cold water. I had to ask for the water to be warmer and for them to even turn on the whirlpool while I waited. I would have been happier waiting in a chair with my shoes on than sitting in the cold water. When I finally said I was canceling my appointment someone was suddenly coming to take care of me. They skipped steps and did a terrible massage job. There is dead skin on my feet still and they did not cut my toenails. I finished right after the second person in my party... and I started 20 minutes after they did.. I would NEVER return. THE ABSOLUTE WORST. My pedicure was borderline violent. Hurt terribly. They were digging their nails into my skin while holding my foot. My gel manicure literally took 3 hours. She had no idea how to do it and was making it up. Had to be redone twice. Didn't last. The kicker? The place was so filthy it literally gave me toenail fungus. I love everyone at cozy nails. I live in Nottingham which is five minutes from cozy's which is very convient. I have been going to cozys for 7 years and have NEVER had an issue with my nails until now. Im not sure if they are forgetting to clean their implements correctly or are just simply not cleaning them at all but I can assure you they are most definetly doing something incorrectly in the disinfecting stage in between clients, as I am a licensed aesthetician and Cosmetologist in the state of NH I can confirm this. I went to the doctor yesterday hoping it was just a bacterial infection like people were telling me but turns out its a legit fungus infection from poorly cleaned tools/poor sealing techniques when applying the fake portion of the acrylic nail. Might be a little bit until I come back to this establishment atleast until they clean up their act. read more

I have never had an issue until recently, I got dip which was pricier and they said was supposed to be better but came off in a week. I had recently gone back to just get a regular full set and it turned out fine, but by the next day one of my nails fell off so I went back and they redid it. They grinded down my real nail until I had almost nothing left and the day after that my real nail fell off with the fake. I now have no nail and a bacterial infection from non clean tools. My last two visits were great but this one was terrible. I had a guy who I told him I wanted gel and he thought I said acrylic, I was trying to let my nails grow because I was getting ready to go to a event and he cut all my nails up. I've had probably definitely over 50 mani/pedi's in my lifetime and by far this was the worst. They might as well be a drive-thru. I'm all about getting in and out sometime, but this was ridiculous. Especially after calling for an appt, not a walk-in and telling them that I was flexible, I could come at anytime. My complaints - I have never seen this at another nail salon, but apparently they save time by not using a base coat (even tho I was getting deep red polish)? During the pedi my heels were not even touched. Isn't that a major point of getting a pedi? I got a regular mani (not gel) and nails on both hands were completely chipped the next day (less than 24 hrs). I was away with friends in NH for the weekend and I had to leave and go to Walgreens down the street to buy remover/polish to redo them myself. My nails were a chipped mess (and stained pink from the red polish) This was a complete waste of my time and money. I visit Barrington often and needless to say, I will not be returning to Cozy Nails. read more

I usually go here because eternal nails in Durham is far worse. Salon Cozy does a good job but do not have the older man do your nails!! I walked in at 2:00pm and left the salon at 2:20pm. I got a gel manicure and had my previous gel polish removed. This man did not spend any time on my cuticles and did not moisturize my skin after. He also did not wait the full minute for my gel to set while in the UV light. He rushed everything and did not say a word to me. It's been 3 days and my gel polish is already rising and peeling off my nail. I spent $25 and gave the man a $5 tip but he did not deserve a penny of it. I am very disappointed with this manicure. All of the other employees do a great job but try to avoid this man!!! read more

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. Went in for a pedi today. I should have left shortly after I sat down. It was not very crowded and I was seated at the tubs right away. The woman turned on the water and then walked away. I sat with my feet in the tub as the water was getting hotter and hotter. Finally, the woman giving a pedicure in the next chair over looked at me pulling my feet out and she turned off the water. Eventually the woman doing my pedi came back. She rushed through every step in the process. My old polish was not removed completely. The tools she used were not taken out of any kind of sealed plastic bag or even out of a disenfectant solution. She just reached in to the drawer and took them out. The tools she used on me were RINSED off in the sink in the middle of my pedi and put right back in to her drawer. Not disenfected in any way. She never wore gloves at all. She only put one coat of colored polish on my nails. There was polish on my skin. I am angry at myself for risking my health and not getting up and walking out at the first sign of a problem. When I walked up to pay, I did tell the woman taking my money that this was the worst pedi I've ever had. She said "sorry" but that was all. I will not return. read more

I've had 2 pedicures here and really enjoyed them. They've renovated the space from the old salon that was here, and the pedicure area is very relaxing. Really nice massage chairs, tons of magazines, and they offer wine or water with the pedicure. The staff is really friendly, and at $25, you can't beat it! read more

Walked in to get a mani and pedi. The place looked kind of dirty and old, but whatever. The woman doing my mani ended up cutting me with one of her tools until I was bleeding. She didn't seem to properly take off my old polish (didn't follow the same procedure as all other salons do with soaking) she just machine filed the old polish off, totally damaging my nails in the process. Regardless, I still left a 20% tip and the woman had the nerve to ask for more because she has to split it with the one who did my pedi. I don't understand why they couldn't split the 20% since it was 20% of the total price, which includes both jobs?! The worst part is that 3 days later my new gel polish is already peeling and cracking! I feel like I completely overpaid for an awful job and was treated rudely while doing it. Never coming back here again. The only reason this place gets any stars from me is because the woman who did my pedi was actually nice and did a decent job. read more
