The room was calming and comfortable. It smelled wonderful and the heated table was a lovely surprise. I initially went for the "Express Skin Treatment" but when my 45 minutes was up, there was no way I was getting off that table! Jamie graciously and easily continued my treatment (haha, awesome) into what is called the "Customized Skin Treatment.' Heaven the whole time...I'm still sighing from it. Before I left, I purchased some of the products she used from a line called "Dermalogica" and have been using them every since I left. My skin continues to feel silky and healthy. Counting down the days when I can visit again!

Best eyebrows ever! As an independent esthetician, you know she has to be good. Her facials are heavenly, and she truly works to ensure that she understands the needs of your skin type. (I swear she must have a background as an educator because I leave appointments feeling like I understand how and why certain products work on my skin. She is also incredible when it comes to waxing and hair removal. She uses a special French hard wax that makes the process practically painless and the results last much longer that other waxes I have. I strongly recommend her! I truly appreciated how I was able to communicate with Anna Leigh prior to let her know I am vegan and ask if she can accommodate with her products; when I arrived she reassured me that she identified which products she wouldn't be using. For anyone who is used to getting routine facials, you know that you really need to connect with your aesthetician. If I get a weird vibe or don't feel comfortable with my aesthetician, then I'm not going to continue to see them because I won't feel relaxed, and that is the whole reason why I get facials (other than to help with occasional skin issues). As soon as I met Anna I knew she was my girl! She is so friendly, approachable, and very available. She is a one woman show, so she is the only one you will deal with from start to finish. No secretaries, no ancillary staff, just Anna, and it makes it so much easier with regard to communication and booking of appointments. She has a website where she lists all of her available services, which in short include a variety of types facials, waxing of any kind, and she does perform an upper body massage as part of your facial experience as well. She has a Facebook page as well, and my primary method of communication with her has been through FB messenger, which she is very prompt with in general. The actual facial itself was extremely relaxing. Her studio is located in downtown Dover, so occasionally you will hear a car horn or people yelling, but overall she does a very good job making the environment relaxing and calm. Anna does a very good job at explaining what she is doing as she is doing it, but she also allows you to have your quiet relaxation time as well. I actually nodded off for a second the first visit because I was so relaxed! She does extractions if necessary free of charge, and has a variety of add ons such as LED light therapy or high frequency treatments. Her prices are very affordable and reasonable, well worth the price! What I really liked about this experience in general was how attentive Anna is. She messaged me the next day just to check in and see how my skin was feeling, since I was a new client. I have since been back to see her once more, and have another two appts on the books already for March and May; my best friend just booked her first appt with Anna as well based on my experience! Looking forward to my next appt!
