Got a Brazilian by Elizabeth, which also happened to be 20% off (yay) and it was the first time I have ever left a wax not feeling like my skin is raw.

I was so surprised by the 1.5 star rating I just made a yelp to leave a review. The Rochester…read moreWalgreens is great, even when I dont show up to get my scripts they call and let me know I have until X day to pick up before its returned to stock. Even then it just means I'd need to call ahead of time to get them filled. A place like Walgreens in rochester handles literally thousands of prescriptions a week if not more all these people "I had to wait 20 minutes boo-hoo 1 star" "they were a bit short with me and didn't smile 1 star" are annoying. I have worked many a manufacturing/shipping jobs so imagine every order you pick and prepare is now dependant on if people show up and if doctors are auto sending scripts you don't want or not sending what you do need i imagine its hell on earth on the other side of that counter I once saw them dealing with understaffing and like half the people in a 10-15 minute line were loudly complaining or getting aggressive could you imagine being the one dealing with that? They've been great for me. Sometimes you have to wait a few minutes and sometimes your doc or hospital or insurance or whatever mess things up for you. It's American Healthcare and its a S show, and the pharmacists are doing their best despite it all. Take a breath, consider having empathy for the human beings who are providing a service to you, it's gonna be ok. If you hate waiting so much get your boring meds delivered, though obviousoy be wary that your meds will be left at your door not in your mailbox if you aren't there to accept delivery. If you have issues with the broader health system well congratulations and welcome to the resistance but you're directing your frustrations and ire in the wrong place.

I had my…read moredoctor send my script to this pharmacy because it's listed as 24/7 and I work nights, so it's hard for my to get to a pharmacy during normal business hours - I call to check on my prescription and am left on hold for over an hour and a half. No one ever picked up as once the clock hit 1:30am, the system hung up on me for the pharmacy's scheduled meal break. When I called the store itself to see if the pharmacist was in, I was informed that they would not be 24/7 all week - but the answering machine and the store's website don't mention this at all, and still act as though the pharmacy is available. An hour and a half on hold, and not once did the machine mention that no one was there. Just update the machine if it's going to be a week long thing, I've seen other Walgreens locations do it before, this was beyond frustrating.

Let me make this *VERY CLEAR* Yes, in New Hampshire, a pharmacy can fax a prescription to a doctor's office. This is a common and accepted practice for various reasons, such as clarifying prescription details, requesting refills, or transferring prescriptions. Here's a more detailed explanation: Common Practice: Faxing prescriptions is a standard method for communication between pharmacies and prescribers in New Hampshire. Reasons for Faxing: Pharmacies may fax prescriptions to: Clarify prescription details with the prescriber. Request a refill authorization. Transfer a prescription from one pharmacy to another. Electronic Prescribing: While electronic prescribing (e-prescribing) is becoming more prevalent, faxing remains a valid method, particularly for controlled substances or in situations where electronic systems are not available. DEA Regulations: The DEA requires computer-generated prescriptions, including those transmitted by fax, to be manually signed by the prescriber. Original Prescription: For Schedule II controlled substances, the pharmacy must still receive the original, signed, written prescription before dispensing the medication. Confidentiality: Faxing prescriptions requires maintaining patient confidentiality, which is a crucial aspect of pharmacy practice THIS DOES NOT APPLY TO REQUESTING THE PRESCRIPTION. If you are requesting the original, signed, written prescription before dispensing the medication this is not a crime, nor a reason to harass, belittle, or gaslight your customers. It's almost like some of your pharmacists might be dipping into your Adderall stockpiles.

If I could give zero stars I would. I made excuses for the lousy pharmacy service here for a long…read moretime. First I blamed it on Covid, which was valid, and then I tried to understand that they were understaffed, which they were. So when I would try to reach the pharmacy by phone and all I got was hold messages followed by having my call disconnected, I was irritated but tried to remain understanding. When they were closed during regular business hours, it was an issue, but I continued to make excuses. I was hoping things would improve. The drive-up window is one of the big reasons I have stayed with Walgreens for my prescriptions. It made it much easier for me with my health issues, to pop by on a break from work and grab my prescriptions. Except it progressively keeps taking longer and longer to get waited on there, even when no one else is in the drive-up line. Today after the two cars in front of me got frustrated and took off, I pulled out of line and decided to go in, expecting a line inside as well. Nope. Not one customer. I walked up to the window and had my prescription in 2 minutes flat. I couldn't for the life of me figure out why neither of the people working behind the registers hadn't seen fit to give service to the drive-up, but as soon as I walked up to the registers inside both of them were ready to help me. Are drive-up customers not considered important? We still pay for our prescriptions. If you can't get your workers to service the drive-up window than discontinue it, rather than letting people sit in line out there forever wasting gas. I think I've about reached my limit of excuses at this point and will be looking for another pharmacy to fill my prescriptions.
