Well..., it happened again! I needed to renew on of my meds, and found that at another pharmacy near my home, the cost would be $24.00 for the 30 generic tablets I needed. For old times' sake I checked with Walgreens, in Lee, New Hampshire and their price (for the identical order) was $340.00! Be careful folks, and do some comparison shopping. This Walgreens is a wonderful drugstore and pharmacy. The pharmacy assistant is pleasant, polite and extremely helpful. The pharmacist has given me personal help many times. The store workers are there willing to give assistance finding items. Kudos to Lee Walgreens! read more

I'm only giving a star because I have to... I've had one issue after another... after another. Top two that stand out was the incredibly rude - heavy set pharmacist, middle aged with dark hair.. After hitting the call button I waited for 5 minutes before she came to the window, and proceeded to sit on the phone and computer - Not once acknowledging my presence nevermind asking me to wait or if I could come back in a half hour.. As much as I totally understand being busy; I also have worked customer service my entire working-life enough to know that she should have said something - even thrown up a finger telling me to wait a minute with an empathetic face. Nothing. She finally finds time out of her miserable life to ask for my info - again, rude and short the very brief time she was interacting with me. A young pharmacist then took over and everything was normal from that point on. Another time that I had gone inside I was waiting at the "Please wait here" sign and a manager sat at the computer staring blankly past me into the oblivion of Walgreens... Not offering assistance until I asked if I was supposed to approach? Another time my daughter had pink eye and was treated as if she had ebola. Rude under the breath comments, employees staring as if it's so far out for a child to have such a thing - It literally felt like they were some kind of dramatic middle school-ers. This instance was a month and a half ago. I DREAD that in moving I became too far from the Exeter Walgreen full of vibrant, happy, eager to please staff who treat you as a welcomed friend; Rather than someone disrupting their favorite cartoon. I know people have bad days; which is why negative reviews aren't something I take the time to put out there - But now months of bad experiences since moving to Lee in March - They need to clean house in that place. Not ALL but more often than not, the employees haven't just been unsatisfactory - but insulting. HERE is a review for you. Spend the extra few bucks in gas to use Epping or Exeter 110%!! read more
