My stepfather Mark went to this location, as he has many times before. The cashier Kristen was…read moreasked to put $40 on his pump. He only pumped $26 and some change that day, yet she had TWO additional charges on his card per his CC statement. One for $40.03 & another for $20.10. He has called and spoken to management and was told this would be looked into and he'd be contacted back. Absolutely nothing has been handled, never heard back. We've already made the CC company it was put on aware and they asked us to first try resolving it with the merchant. Since they haven't done so, we will be disputing the charges and maybe ought to have the PD check into the extra charges as well. How often is Kristen doing this on anyone else's card? How did his card get used for 2 additional purchases for such odd amounts? If I were customers, I'd double check charges at this location. TO MANAGEMENT- I highly suggest you refund these unexplained charges and make this right. Look into your cashier Kristen's transaction history because it seems shady!

An old fashion…read morepharmacy Colonial Pharmacy is one of those old fashion drugstores that use to be in every town before CVS and Walgreen's put most of them out of business. Of course there is a pharmacy and the usual assortment of over the counter medications and remedies. But the rest of the store is an explosion of toys, junk food, clothes, booze, beach thingies and souvenirs. Many things seem to be just randomly put where ever there is room but this method seems to work just fine. Just walk around and you will eventually find what you are looking for. Colonial is definitely a beast from the past that managers to survive in the world of modern, sanitized and organized drugstores, probably because of the beachy and touristy environment of Kennedbunkport. A pleasant and very cool place that will probably have what you are looking for.

Do not go in here with little kids - mean employees. Don't bother buying toys here. Or anything…read morereally. Terrible customer service. It's a nor'easter and we took our children in there because we saw all the toys from the window. It's pouring rain. My kids were looking at the toys, playing with a few cars, minding their own business and we were rudely told they couldn't play or touch the toys. What kind of store puts toys visible from the window and then gets mad when kids want to look at the toys? We thought Kennebunkport was a family friendly town. And this is our first impression. We've been in much nicer stores with toys where they didn't care if kids played with the toys. We were going to buy some essentials from this tote but as soon as they were rude to us we left. We will take our business elsewhere. If I was a store owner in the area, I'd want these owners/employees gone. Not a welcoming place.

Their shoe selection wasn't the greatest. I didn't go to the hardware department as I didn't need anything in there. The beauty product selection was skimpy. I've been to the Marden's in Biddeford (twice) & the one in Waterville and out of all 3 I have to say my favorite one is the Biddeford location. A lot of the stuff in here seemed like a lot of junk. No good bag/purse selection, clothes weren't that great & overpriced for a place like this. Their ladies room wasn't up to par either. Don't forget to bring your own bag as they don't have any. The cashier was nice but only after I made conversation with her, she didn't seem to happy to be working there. I only walked out with a couple of things. I definitely wouldn't want to come to this location again & would tell my Mom "let's go to the one in Biddeford!"

When I was a kid, this place was awesome. Today, it's just sad.
