Best Haircut and Strawberry Blonde Color! Sylvie has been my stylist for the past 5 years now. She does a fabulous job on my color, which is a very finicky strawberry blonde. Reds are notoriously difficult to get right and maintain, and Sylvie gets it perfect every time. She recommended balayage when I wanted to go a couple of shades lighter a few months ago, and the result was gorgeous! I had one stranger stop and tell me that if she gets reincarnated she wants to come back with my color. I love that Sylvie keeps up with current hair trends and recommends them for me. It was time to go back to blonde and I'm naturally a dark brown/black with Asian hair so I wasn't sure who in town would be up to the task but after reading reviews online - I took my chances with Redhead Studio and was paired with Lisa. No regrets here! She was very in tune with what I was asking and very honest and had open communication the entire time - so there was never a moment of panic that this balayage would go wrong. I highly recommend this place - their methodology and products used were more than I was expecting from a local salon. Went in this afternoon for an hair cut appointment. I left the happiest, most satisfied customer. Angie was easy going, professional, and listened carefully to what I wanted out of my hair cut. Seeing all the other happy faces in there, I have no doubt other customers felt the same way. I've consistently had troubles getting a good haircut because I didn't know the right lingo to connect what I wanted, nor did I know the styles that would look good with my hair type and face. Redhead Studio is by far the best salon in Portsmouth and surrounding area! The whole team at the salon is super professional and friendly. Very kind owner, as well. Great vibe and beautiful salon right in the heart of Portsmouth. Street parking right on front of salon is also a bonus. Angie is my hairstylist and she's amazing!! Been going to her for over 15+ years and she's the best! I even have my husband and two young sons go to her. She's amazing and so patient with kids and does a perfect job every time!
