Even my Lyft driver said I wouldn't even pay for that. That's how bad the nails look. This is just one of the issues of my nails. Everything I ask for her to fix she found it funny and would not fix. Then turned around very loudly and said how you wanna tip?! I said tip required how you want to come to the front! So I left my AirPods in there in the other clients and also nail people decided to have a conversation about me. It wasn't about the tip. I'm from another state here working so the money was not the issue. It was the issue that every time I said something was wrong. She would not fix it and she found it funny. She literally found it funny that she was drilling on my nails and broke it after I kindly said please be careful. I asked for a totally different length, but she kept drilling and violent and I have literally no nails left. I will not tip you. Nowhere ever come back again. This is literally right after I left the nail shop. I have the receipt in the Lyft driver, so they cannot say that they did not do my nails here. just checked my car since I refuse to tip her she told me $60. I checked my credit card and it's $66 on there so you took six dollars from me. Call back to the nail shop. The lady said what you say, you tip her 2 to 3 dollars I told you no! It was like they was trying to force me to tip her! She said she worked two hours on my nails. She did not work two hours on my nails. They open up at 9:30. This is the time I got to there. It was about an hour or less she worked on my nails.

Reflections offers many specials for first-time clients for all of their different services. I have used many of them and the service was great, so I kept coming back. The shop is small but cozy. I really started going here because pedicures were the same price as going down the road to Walmart, and I prefer to not get my nails done there if I can avoid it. I have had many pedicures here that were all fantastic (including for my wedding, where the shop actually purchased a specific color I had requested). The only exception was the last pedicure I got in the beginning of December with someone who told me she was new to doing pedicures, and it was painfully obvious. Oh well, I will still go back for pedicures, just will request someone else. I have also had many waxing services done here with Dawn. She is awesome and really good at what she does. She is very pleasant and the atmosphere of the room upstairs is comfortable. I have had one massage here. The atmosphere in the massage room was also very cozy. Currently, I am going on a weekly basis for electrolysis. The experience has been great so far and I will continue going even after my 3 sessions for $70 deal runs out. Joanne really knows what she is doing and I feel very comfortable in her office. I have never gotten my hair done here because I have another stylist I have been going to for a while, so I cannot comment on that. I have also never had a manicure because when I get my nails done I often do gels at another salon, as reflections does not do artificial nails. Im extremely disappointed with my experience here. I came in with long, healthy, strong natural…read morenails and specifically explained that I wanted to keep my natural length and simply have builder gel applied over them so I could avoid extensions. Unfortunately, my nails were filed down drastically shorter than what I asked for. During the appointment, I specifically told the technician that I wanted to keep the length . However, the filing was so aggressive that at points she was essentially filing against my skin. I walked in with natural nails that I had spent months growing and taking care of, and walked out with extremely short, boxy nails that don't even look like mine. The entire reason I requested builder gel was to preserve and protect the natural length I already had--not remove it. What makes this particularly upsetting is that I'm expecting to get engaged very soon and had intentionally been growing and strengthening my natural nails for that reason. Now I have to wait weeks for them to grow back to where they were. I also paid cash, so unfortunately I don't even have the option of disputing the charge for a service that was completely different from what I requested. I rarely leave negative reviews, but I'm genuinely so disappointed. I clearly communicated what I wanted before and during the service, and my request was ignored. Had I known I would leave with my natural nails filed down this drastically, I absolutely would not have had the service done. It was chair #8
