Love this salon!!! If you're looking for stylists who LISTEN, you'll find it here. I went one my first visit last week with Loretta after purchasing the Groupon for the highlight, cut, and style. She was amazing, really took the time to listen to what I wanted & my concerns. She gave a great consult and gave me options and really made sure I understood what would work best for me. I loved my results and she really took her time with everything from the consult to the cut to the styling. She fixed my uneven cut and made me feel fabulous! I booked another appointment for an eyebrow wax before I left. I had Ingrid today and she did a great job shaping them and really took her time. I have extremely sensitive skin and my swelling and redness cleared up within half an hour!! (Which usually takes 1-2 hours) Definitely worth it if you're looking for a new salon! read more

DO NOT GO TO THIS SALON Wife left her appointment in actual tears. She hadn't gone to have her hari done in a really long time , she had major medical issues and we have 3 small children. So when she did have the time to pamper herself she went to this salon. The girl was nice but took 6 hours to cut and dye her hair ( not even how she wanted it) charged her 280$ and made the comment "well that didn't really work" you will have to come back for more high lights...... My wife left that night upset Nd disappointed given she paid so much . For the next week she tried to contact the salon with no luck. She even had her mother leave voice mails just to express to the owner how terrible it was.. Anyway another week went by and the girl who did it private messages my wife saying she is charging her another 100$ because she did not show up for another appointment that the girl had made to " fix her mistakes" ....wich is bull because my wife didn't make such appointment. We reported it as fraud as we never authorized a charge on our acct. They littleraly just took her card info from before ( very shady) We reached out to the owner who was rude in the sense she was very defensive on saying well if you missed an appointment tment thags policy... bla bla bla and then went to say she was going to look into it.. we have tried to make contact and we have tried to resolve but we are now blocked and ignored. The owner went as far as making all of her friends on Facebook leave positive reviews the night and days after off of this... very obvious they had no review 3-6 months prior. . This place in downtown Dover is the one for you f you want good hair & such. I got to the place & the hair stylist got me for a short hair cut which I called for. Lady was nice & talkative & when the hair was cut got me a shampoo. Price was maybe a bit higher than the place I go but least it was worth it. read more

Not sure what constitutes a hair color specialist but Lorretta is as far from a professional as possible both in ability and attitude. Loretta was friendly at first, but then as soon as I expressed knowledge about my own hair and communicated it in a straightforward professional manner to her, I could tell there was issues. My experience with Lorretta left me angry about the interaction and feeling horrible regarding my bright orange roots. I went for my second appointment with Lorretta to get my hair colored red. When she was done my hair was three-tones of red and brown and orange. Turns out that she changed the formula without consulting with me after we decided on a formula during the appointment. While she listened to my complaints she was uncooperative concerning the poor color job. I wanted to confront her about this but, I was concerned that she was already ignoring my needs and that she might not correct my hair because I found her to be very manipulative. Finally, after much discussion she said she would fix it four days later...FOUR DAYS!! Oh, she was also kind enough (sarcasm) to send me home with some hair dye to try and fix it myself. Wrong dye and made it worse!. Bottom line: not professional and way too much of an ego to work with me on my hair. And, in the end she, after five days and a couple of messages left for her via phone and text, we spoke and she told me I have to trust hairdressers more and that she was too booked up to correct her mistake. She never apologized for nor took responsibility for all of the unpleasantness I had to endure. read more
