Being a licensed cosmetologist, I was skeptical. I asked Cassandra if she felt comfortable cutting short, S2 wavy/curly hair. I needed it cut badly, as I was leaving town the next morning. Cassandra listened as I explained what I wanted my hair to look like/do. I felt in very capable hands with her. I had not had a previous haircut since October '25. She gave me, probably the best haircut I have had in years. So much so, that I don't feel it necessary to seek out the stylist I originally booked with. A great haircut is one in which I don't have to go home and "tweak" with my own scissors. That is what Cassandra gave me. I will definitely return to Oomph with Cassandra. She is wonderful!

I'm on the 50+ side of life, but she keeps me looking young and in style. I love that it's an eco friendly salon. That means there are no harsh chemical smells from any of the products she uses on my hair, or from any treatments the other Stylists are giving to their clients. The salon is always kept clean and orderly and they follow all recommended cleaning guidelines and limited number of people in the salon at one time during this crazy pandemic. They offer eyebrow and lip waxing services too! I always feel like a million bucks when I leave. I would highly recommend Pin Up Hair Salon.

It's really important to separate the salon from the stylist when rating. I'm going to break this…read moreup into the two parts I think matter: First, and most important, stylist: Hannah is a real professional who genuinely cares about her clients and her work. I am not a good selfie taker, esp when I can't see what I'm doing, but I think you can at least appreciate the placement of the color. I asked for blunt ends with high-contrast and I'm extremely happy with the outcome. While I've just started going to Hannah in January 2022, I don't see myself going anywhere else. Salon: It's a small space, cute interior, metered parking, and a little hard to find because it's actually in the basement on a corner so be sure to ask for landmarks (I already forgot them, but i recognize them when I'm there). Hannah has much better pictures in better lighting on her instagram so I recommend you google and find her, or whoever it is you would like to work with. :)
