I had an appointment with Amy this morning @9AM, and I always have an AWESOME experience with her, when she does my nails, getting my Gel Manicure's done here @Trish's. I usually make my appointments every 3-4 weeks. They are very nice, friendly, & warm, they always make me feel welcome --always greet me with a smile. The salon is very clean, and they are very prompt! And the parking is never a problem! I HIGHLY recommend!!! I have been to many nail salons in the past, but, for a year now, Trish's has always been my "go to" place to have my gel manicure nails done! Amy is my preferred Nail Tech, & VERY SWEET and she does a terrific beautiful job, and I like that she takes her time and is very professional. If I could give 0 stars, I would. Save yourself the time and money and go somewhere that actually stands behind their work. I paid for a gel pedicure, and every single toenail lifted within two hours of leaving the salon. That is completely unacceptable for a professional service. I've had gel pedicures for years and have never experienced anything like this. My nails were also cut far shorter than I wanted, and I was never asked about my preferred length or shape before they started cutting. The service itself felt rushed. One of the best parts of a pedicure is the massage, but mine lasted only a couple of minutes before it was over. Meanwhile, I ended up waiting 30 minutes for my friend, who received the full pedicure experience that we both paid for. It was obvious our services were not performed with the same level of care. What made this even more frustrating is that this wasn't the first time my family experienced this issue. The last time my mom and I got pedicures here, her gel polish also lifted shortly after her appointment. Because of that previous experience, I had no confidence in returning for another repair. I contacted the salon immediately and requested a refund because the service had clearly failed. Instead of taking responsibility, I was offered discounts, vouchers, and another appointment but not a refund. During a phone call, the owner even told me I was "ruining her day off," despite the fact that I had spent my own day off paying for a pedicure that hardly even lasted the drive home. The owner also told me she had "never heard of this happening before," but after my experience I found other customer reviews describing similar lifting issues. A business's true character is shown by how it handles mistakes. Rather than standing behind their work, they refused to refund a defective service and expected me to come back and spend more time there. I ultimately disputed the charge with my bank. I cannot recommend a business that delivers poor-quality work and refuses to take accountability when that work fails almost immediately. read more

I really did not want to write this review, but I have had over 3 bad experiences at Trish's. I never make a fuss over things, but have felt to voice my expirence. I tried again and again hoping they were just having a bad day. I have made appointments well before the date, and I have waited at least 25 minutes for my appointment time. Recently I waited 40 minutes for someone to see me. My friend and I made an appointment almost 2 weeks in advance, and she waited 35 minutes until she was seen. A regular manicure shouldn't take over 2 hours when including the time waiting. This makes me upset because I fell in love with this salon with following appointments times and great service. But since then, it has shown me a disrespect for their clients time as we all have to work and complete other tasks. It seems as it has gone down hill in the last 6 months. Update: FROM 5 stars to 1 star (overdue review) My first experience at Trish's salon was wonderful (see below & pics). However, a few days after my manicure, one of my nails broke in half. I returned to the salon to have it fixed, but the experience was disappointing. When I arrived, I waited a while before being served. A gentleman began working on my nail, but he seemed unsure of how to fix it. Trish and another nail tech nearby had to guide him through the process. He unnecessarily cut my natural nail and applied a fake one, which I reluctantly agreed to because I was desperate to have it fixed. Once Trish finished with her other clients, she took over and used crazy glue to hold the two broken pieces of the nails together. However, she struggled to find a nail polish color that matched my other nails. Trish became visibly frustrated, telling me I should have come earlier. She explained they needed to close the salon and suggested I come back the next day. After spending 42 minutes there, I left with my nail still unfixed. Disappointed and short on time before a date, I went to Walgreens across the street to buy nail polish, thinking I could paint the nail myself since the fake nail was already applied. Unfortunately, my attempt was a disaster, and I ended up covering the broken nail with a bandage to get through the evening. Wanting to give the salon another chance, I returned to have the nail fixed again. This time, Trish was more attentive and considerate. She repaired the nail but was still unable to match the polish to my other nails. She assured me the color would blend after a few days, but that never happened. Eventually, I went to a different salon to have my nails redone properly. Since then, I haven't returned to Trish's salon and likely won't. I can't help but feel that my initial wonderful experience was only because I was a new customer and they were hoping for a five-star review. -------------------------------------- First experience: As a first-time customer, I had a wonderful experience! Scheduled a Trish's Pedicure for my 1st time at this salon. I won't be back. After reaching out to the owner and getting no response I cannot recommend this salon. The atmosphere was not inviting or relaxing. The staff was absolutely horrible to the brand new receptionist. My technician was bored and had no personality. The pedicure gel polish should have been thrown out as it was goopy and thick and looks really bad on my toenails. Worst pedicure of my life. My friend and I booked two appointments for 2 PM. From 2-3 we sat in the chair, with no water in the basin. Front row seats for the havoc taking place. No appointments were on schedule; triple the customers to the workers. At 3 PM scalding hot water was put into my basin and the pedicure begin. 10 painful minutes later, yes it hurt (for my friend as well), the pedicure was half way done and polish was added. The place is neat, Went for dipping on 1 day and the next day had appointment for pedicure with a friend for her dipping. My dipping was ok, but didn't cleaned up properly my previously color.. even I showed the guy, he was like ok.. but didn't cleaned it up. I'm writing this review after 4 days I still have my previous polish underneath my nails. On 2 day, we made appointment at 4:30pm, we were their by 4:25, I got my pedicure on time but for my friend she has to wait for an hour., and we selected a nail art which was in their collection., before our service got began we asked if they can do it and they told us YES, but at the end they were giving reasons like we can't do the same, the lady is busy.. the reason we went with that colors were for that nail art, and at last I even asked if they can do something similar, but they were like NO., the communication was really bad. When I walked in it wasn't awesome. It was As if I was a burden to get my nails done at 3PM on a Monday when they weren't busy. It's unclear what their specialty dip colors are so as soon as you grab a specialty one they tell you it's $10 more. I had a mani dip completed today. I'm a bit disappointed as the nails are uneven and the finish product was sloppy. Sometimes they do a hand massage and sometimes they don't so you're not always sure if you're done or if you can leave. It's confusing. This is my 3rd time there. This place is the rudest place with terrible service. They have one price on the wall and charge you something completely different at checkout. If they want to get to another customer, they don't even finish a pedicure. No foot massage or lotion, they just walk away. They don't speak any English and that's how they rip you off at the register. If you tell them the prices on their wall is not what they charged, they tell you their prices went up. They never come back to check if your toes are dry or put oil on them so they don't smudge before putting a shoe back on. If you get tips, they tell you every-time you need new ones. I came here with my bridal party the day before my wedding. They were very accommodating of my group (we had a reservation 2 weeks in advance). However I feel like they got overwhelmed with having a 5 person group as well as their other customers. My pedicure did not come out how I asked (I had wanted a design and it got lost in translation) I forgot about it and moved on to my manicure. The manicure came out how I asked, but they forgot to put a top coat on one hand. I asked and they said it was done. You could feel the glitter pieces on top of my nails on one hand, and smooth top coat on the other. It has been one week and now my gel nails are chipping. I've been coming here for 5 years, since they were in Walmart. I've never had a problem with the nails, always gotten what I've asked for. They may not be able to take you right away and you may have to wait, but other than waiting there are no issues. I dont mind waiting here either. After a recommendation from a friend, I made an appointment to get my nails done. When I made the appointment, before hanging up, I confirmed the time as 9:30. The day of my appointment, I was very excited to get my nails done, showed up on time, walked in and said that I had a 9:30 appointment, and was told to sit at Station 1. There was only 2 other clients in the shop at that time. Ten minutes went by, no one has addressed me since telling me to sit. I waited 23 minutes before someone came to me and tells me that my appointment was for 10. She then shows me the appointment book that had only "10" written and circled in the 8am slot and told me that was my appointment. I told her that "no, my appointment was scheduled for 9:30". She said something to a coworker that I didn't understand. I told her I couldn't wait because I had other appointments. She walked away with nothing else said. If you don't possess patience or are judgmental, then Trish's is not for you. My dip nail experience was superb. Dan did an amazing job and I was impressed by the cleanliness of the establishment. For all the negative reviews about appointments and time management, I've got to say this: my dip took approximately an hour & cost $38.00. How much of that do you think Dan actually takes home? All the technicians were very busy, but pleasant. There's a bit of a communication gap, but they're from Vietnam so it's expected. If you're a walk-in, be patient. If you have an appointment, be patient. These folks are working for tips and will do their best to accommodate everyone. read more

This is hands done the worst nail salon I have ever been to. Walked in and was told it would be a 15 minute wait for an acrylic fill. I am sat at a table and was not acknowledged for 30 minutes. Usually this nail place is my "go-to" when I am up at school. Well I went today and I got a young boy for my nail tech. I assume he was new beacuse I didn't recognize him and he also didn't know what he was doing and all I asked for was to get a couple tips put on my broken nails and a regular mani. Well another lady had to do the tips for me - fine, maybe he hasn't learned that yet (btw the girl who did them was great). After that, when putting regular polish on my nails he did it so thickly I had to even ask him to re do a couple nails because it was starting to almost pool at the edge of my nail when I held my finger to the side. Next he got a lot of the polish on the side of my finger which is whatever again but I expected him to clean it up with the brush afterwards which he didn't, I had to ask the same lady who did my tips to do it. So I'm not trying to be cruel but I think he needs a little more practice before doing nails on clients... again like I said normally love this place and it's employees I just had a sub par experience today. read more

I am extreme dissatisfied with my visit. I came in today with my close friend, her mom, and I. My friend and her mom both received dip, and I got an acrylic fill. My friend's mom got hers finished first and decided to pay for my friend's nails before they were done and left. The employees constantly kept leaving for long periods of time and kept reassuring us that we HAD to pay for the flower which we were aware of. It made us feel like they were only concerned with the money. My friend started getting hers done an hour after getting there and mine had been finished. After her mom paid the employees just kept leaving her and she sat there for 2 1/2 hours total. It just shows that they stopped caring once they received the money. The customer service was disappointing. When I went to leave because I had been there for an hour and a half, the employee kept telling that I didn't pay when I had over an hour ago and had to keep arguing. I saw on a review that someone got a nail infection from Trish's salon so I was very skeptical. I tried coming here anyway and they kept making me bleed and drilling my fingers too much. My nails lifted within 2 days, I have two infection fingers that are swollen and bloody. My nails are also destroyed and way over drilled.
