I went to this salon with great hesitation. My son uses a regular priced barber that is hard to get Into because the school time. I met Amy at the door very pleasant and signed me right in. I am extremely nervous about a new person and she did an amazing job( I can be really picky with my sons hair not on purpose) she was so fast talked with my son and he felt looking amazing She is a keeper Great Clips. read more

Do you want a fast and inexpensive haircut? Great Clips is an option. But expect that as soon as you start brushing a comb through your hair, you're going to find several imperfections that you're going to have to trim yourself. Normally I don't fuss if this happens here or there... but I'm finally admitting to myself it's EVERY TIME. And the staff always seems as though they're hurrying to get you out the door, even if you're the only customer in the shop. Perhaps if they took a few moments more, they would notice that they left a patch in the back a full two inches longer than anywhere else. I've tried going on the weekends, I've tried going on the weekdays, and regardless of the staff the outcome is displeasing. read more

Checking in and being told you may still have a wait, when that wait entails two haircutters; one just gabbing with the other sweeping the floor for a full 5 minutes and no "I'll be right with you." I am usually a monthly customer here and today I felt a certain dismissive snide. There are actually plenty of places to not get treated this way. Thanks ladies! read more

The stylist ignored my verbal instructions and the note on file in the computer. Destroyed me hair and left is drastically shorter than I had asked for and incredibly uneven. This was a cut in preparation for a week of business meetings. The stylist was unapologetic even after noting that he had ignored the verbal instructions and the written notes. I will opt be returning and I will be encouraging my family and friends to no longer patronize the business as well. read more

I recently went to Great Clips and I do not understand your policy. I got there about an hour after they had opened. There were two people waiting for someone to cut their hair. I sat down, they never asked for my name. I am a regular customer ! After about 10 minutes they finally asked. Questionable ! So, they called the two people that were there to get a haircut, understandable ! A man walked in and the schedule changed. He was before me! I am confused. Then a lady came in but decided she could not wait and left! Then a young girl came in and they took her right away! I am confused now. I was there roughly about 45 minutes waiting. Being a regular customer, I do not like that. What happened was I called before I went to Great Clips and the lady on the phone said no need to call. I am very angry that I had to wait while two people who came in after me got service. read more

I would give 0 stars if I could. I honestly can't believe the level of unprofessionalism of the people working here. I took my mixed son in from a TRIM so his hair could grow LONGER, with a month before his birthday just incase it didn't come out well. By the end my sons hair went from 6-7 inches to 1.5-2 inches, as well as none of the hairs being even on his head! To which I said hey this isn't what I asked for all his hair is gone, and the lady starting arguing with me! DO NOT TAKE YOUR CURLY HAIRED KIDS HERE! DO NOT TAKE YOUR KIDS HERE! read more

They have very limited hours, and desperately need more barbers. My biggest complaint is that they make you select a "suggested" tip on a computer screen when you are paying; with the stylist who cut your hair 2 feet from your face watching your decision. I'm tempted to not go back there just because of that. I mentioned this to the stylist, and she thought it was unusual to do that in a barber shop, as well. read more

Do Not go here. They butchered my son's hair and he wasn't even moving around or anything. Sat there quietly and she still butchered it. There are sections and patches on my son's head. My wife been cutting my son's hairs and it came out more professional than here. I just thought it would be nice to have a professional stylist cut my son's hairs but definitely did not find a professional there. One of the worst if not the worst hair cut I've ever seen. read more

I don't like this one. It's annoying the girl there was friendly but she dug into my hair with her clippers so hard she was pulling my hair and making bald spots all over my scalp. It hairy like a bastard. I didn't say anything but you think she be like am I hurting you. When you wear a mask it's hard to see expression from customers, but during this crazy time you have to. Regardless she was really hurting me. The last time I came here the owner accused me of ruining his clippers because my hair was so coarse. Who says that shit to a customer? So damn rude. Think I'm not coming here for awhile. read more

Staff was nice. But jacked up my hair so bad I had to call another salon to fix it. Repeatedly called my she and ma'am, I'm a 30 year old dude with a beard read more

The staff was not friendly. Two of the stylist openly seemed annoyed that I wanted to get my two sons a hair cut. They are 5 and 6.

Super friendly staff, I love that I'm able to check in online or while using the Great Clips app on my phone. The girl at the front desk can be a little snippy with customers sometimes, but the stylists, especially Kat and Keith, are amazing. Kat is the only one that I let cut my hair, Keith is my wife's favorite. read more

Sorry - had to change my mind on this one. The staff does a great job, from a technical perspective. From a service perspective, however (I mean, they ARE in the service industry, right?) I'm just no longer impressed. I was in the area on business.. and stopped in after having been in a couple of weeks prior. Since you can't just walk in anymore you must make arrangements on line for service. When I arrived, someone greeted me at the door and called me by name - I assume from the reservation. I requested the person I'd had before and the person who greeted me winced... (odd reaction).. "Ooooohhh... not sure if that's possible. Don't know if he's taking 'requests' today or not." (All I could think of was.. well, he must be on his way out ..or to a funeral.. or something. How many people in the salon business don't LOVE to have repeat clientele, right? What am I missing here... Isn't it all about revenue? Isn't it all about tips in this business?) So sure enough, the same person came back to the door and said.. I'm sorry, he's not doing requests this afternoon. No explanation .. nuthin. So I said.. ok - best of luck to you.. and left. In my own business I move heaven and earth for my clients if I can. If I can't I have a good explanation as to why. It's simply 'good business'.. to explain to people why you can't cut hair.. ESPECIALLY if you're working under a sign that says.. "WE CUT HAIR". So I found another professional.. left them my usual 70% gratuity .. and went on. read more

Brought my 6yo son to get his hair cut, and a Grey haired woman (large in size) stood up and said he needs to put a mask on, when I asked why he is 6yo she said because he cannot get vaccinated. Very simulator to how someone would talk to a dog and their master entering a store. When I politely asked another question on the topic she said in a loud voice HAVE A NICE DAY! don't care about who or why these rules are being initiated, this isn't how you do business period. When your scaring kids and it isn't a Halloween show or something to that effect. Than it isn't right. read more

I went to Great Clips to have my hair all cut off. I had just found out I was to have my leg amputated. They were wonderful to me and very supportive. I also found out that I could donate my hair to Wigs for Kids. My hair cut was free. I could feel better about what was happening to me and be able to know I still could make a difference. The whole experience was wonderful. Thanks to the great hairdresser's there. A very happy customer. Leanne read more

Keith was incredibly kind and charmed my shy, anxious kids. He listened to what they needed and gave them exactly the cuts they asked for ... AND had them smiling and laughing. Always fantastic service at the Dover great clips! Thank you! read more
