Just moved to the area and looking for my new nail salon - this will not be it. It should have been a red flag that there was a crowd outside when I arrived at 10 AM, when they open, because they weren't ready for their first appointments yet (which were at 10 AM, as was mine). Unprofessional to be walking into the building at the same time as your customers. Good callus treatment, but the rest of the pedi was underwhelming and rough, as other reviewers said. After that, I sat in the pedicure chair for 20+ minutes waiting for my manicure and watching other customers who arrived after me get their manicures first (including a walk-in!); after the second time that happened, I got up, asked to have the foil removed, paid for the pedicure, and left without the manicure. Tell me why, when my appointment was at 10 AM, I am still sitting with foil on my fingers at 11:20 AM? I should have been done and out the door by that time. It seems like their staff each only does very specific things, which creates a bottleneck. Unless you have endless amounts of time and patience, go elsewhere. read more

Beware! My friend and I got pedicures last weekend. It was very aggressive and painful. I had to yell "stop, too rough" during the massage. I also got a scratch in the arch of my foot. I was actually the lucky one. My friend got cut and her toe would not stop bleeding. She left bandaged up. I paid for my massage only and then we walked out. The owner came after us to get payment for her bloodied foot. I was shocked. Once they realize they would get a bad review, he came out to my car, gave me back the money, and begged me not to post about it. Horrible business and traumatic experience. read more

Went here a bit concerned due to the reviews but it ended up being a decent experience. I had Tiffany who was good and quiet which I liked-no unnecessary chat. I got a gel mani and regular pedi only $60 which was awesome as I just moved up from the Boston area and was paying $85. It's really a no frills salon...basic pedi here was less stuff than back home (no hot stones, not much buffing). Which isn't a big deal. Gel mani was fine no issues. Do not expect any fancy experience here. You go in and out with something decent but also nothing extremely fantastic either. read more

I just moved up here from MA and haven't gotten my nails done in almost a month. Despite the reviews, I popped into Lee's today and I'm glad I did. It was quiet so I sat right away. I got a gel/shellac manicure from Thai. She was great. A little on the quiet side, no small talk, which I actually appreciated. Water for pedicure was cold and manicure soaking was no soap and barely let them soak I was so disappointed but had never been but I'll never go back. Oh also. Usually I have a good experience here, the girls do a nice job. But I had the younger guy today and he did a TERRIBLE job. The finish is ridgy and bumpy and all textured, not smooth, because he wouldn't use the UV light to finish the top coat even when I asked. The edges of the nail were glued to my skin, my fingers are dyed with the color of the powder. Overall a horrendous job and I'm incredibly disappointment. There aren't many salons near me so I will go back but I will ask to only see the girls and NEVER have the guy again! read more

Went in as a walk in for a gel polish change, and I am so sorry that I took a chance on this place. The guy barely spoke to me and pretty much just grunted and gestured at me. He was also sniffling and kept wiping at his brow like he was too hot...very strange and awful customer service. The actual procedure was even worse. He filed my nails so hard and barely left them to soak the gel off before he was hacking away at my nails, even after I told him that he was hurting me. Now I can tolerate a little pain if the ends justify the means, but nope, my nails look horrible! My nails have ridges and bumps and are completely uneven. I am hoping that there was no permanent damage done to my nails. Overall, one of the top ten worst nail experiences in my life. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere, wish I had. read more

the worst nails ever. the guy cut my finger and all my nails are different lengths..my pinky fingers are so different in length. he didn't paint my whole nail so it looks like they're grown out and i asked him to fix a nail twice and he didn't. i'm beyond mad. not to mention, i waited like 30 minutes because they only have 4 people working. this place is honestly 0 stars, the acrylic nails are so bad. i really can't express enough how upset i am. the whole experience hurt, he was filing my skin and grinding my cuticles. the purple liquid they use for acrylic powder was being flung at me every time he would dip his brush into it, and it even hit me in the face a few times. read more

I've been coming here for years and they never disappoint. They always do an amazing job with my eyebrows, they always do walk ins and they're super quick. I try to get my toes done at-least once a month with the deluxe pedicure and I walk out with amazing feet. Which is definitely needed after working construction everyday. The last thing I love about this place is that they're super friendly and respectful, they always make sure you leave with a smile on your face. read more

I had a "me" day today and decided to get a manicure and a pedicure and try out a new place. I noticed the guy doing my nails didn't seem healthy as he was sweating and coughing etc. He was trying his hardest with my nails but had to keep taking the polish on and off because he couldn't draw the white line on my nail right for a gel french manicure. At the end I paid a lot of money for both my French gel manicure and pedicure and they are all different sizes and angles and not even cleaned up around the sides. I am disappointed because I really wanted to feel confident due to me being pregnant with my 3rd child etc. and wanted to do something special for myself. Got a fungus infection from having my pedicure here. It will take months to get rid of it and grow out. I posted a picture of this toenail that is infected Water was barely tepid. I kept trying to tell her, but she couldn't speak English. I heard the person next to me, complain about the same thing. She seemed timid and afraid of her supervisor. Made me think there was more going on than nail care. I Think the 3-5 star reviews are phony. I would never go back here again, nor would I recommend to anyone else. I can't disagree more with the negative reviews! I started going to Lee nails in 2016 and they are my go-to pedicure and gel manicure spot! I've never had acrylics done here so I can't speak to that, but this salon is incredibly clean, the pricing is very fair, they have a ton of color options (gel and regular), and they do an amazing job every time! I can understand how some people may feel the staff seems grumpy but every time I engage them they are more than happy to chat me up and they always seem pleased to greet their regulars! They're probably just used to people not wanting to talk to them the whole time. The place is really busy, so I always try and go first thing when they open because otherwise you'll have to wait quite some time. Also...the seats for the pedicure are massage chairs. Massage chairs! I would go here every day if I could. I love love love them. read more

I've been here a couple of times and honestly it's my new go-to nail salon! The first time I went I got a manicure and pedicure from Thi. She was fantastic and such a detail oriented person. It's been over a month and my polish still looks great. I just went and got a full-set of acrylics. I felt bad because I got there late but David was amazing. He made sure with every step that I liked them, from all angles. The prices are very affordable too, and that's coming from a college student. I would give this place ZERO stars if I could. I went in yesterday and got a pedi / mani dip. The young man who serviced me had ZERO experience! He made my toes bleed, the pedi was painful, water was ice cold, not enjoyable whatsoever! I asked for my toes to be rounded, some are rounded while others are square. To the nail part - I wanted my nails to match my toes. I picked out the toe color, and he showed me the swatch that matched for my nails. It did match perfectly, but when he brought the color over I pulled my hands away asking if it would match because the color looked off. He in a head shaking way said yes many times. He could speak no English, and the nodding told me that he couldn't understand a word I said. I just wanted this awful experience to be over and done with. So at this point it couldn't get worse, right?... I ended up leaving there with pink toes, and BRIGHT red nails, and it looked like a 1st grader did my toes and nails! No joke! My fingertips looked like I ate a bag of red pistachios! I had to go to dinner right after that. I must have been in the restroom bathroom scrubbing my fingertips for a good 15 mins - still dyed red. I love this nail salon. Clean, bright, hygienic -- I had tried two or three others in the surrounding area after moving here from out of state in late 2014 but they didn't have the cleanest practices and it worried me. I am a regular gel manicure and spa pedicure customer. After disatisfaction with the cleanliness practices of other salons in the area, I found Lee Nails and stopped in. They use one-use, hygienic pedicure tub liners for each pedicure, which I love. They also auto-clave their tools so you see a fresh pack opened before each gel manicure you get. They are friendly, pleasant and fair-priced. Good nail color selection. As I'm only 10 minutes away from their location, I usually call-ahead before I want to go to ensure I get in, or save myself the wait. The timeslots I want are never an issue. I went there being new to town and needing to find a regular place to get my nails done. When I went in I was told the wait was five minutes, without an appointment I agreed to wait. I wasn't impressed by the variety of nail polishes, ( may seem like a small thing and may not be important to some) I like to have newer polishes and a few to choose from. All of theirs seems to be mixed or have been watered down to make them last longer. Once I was told to have a seat, after ten minutes of waiting, I then waited another five minutes for someone to sit down and start working on my nails. It was a male who seemed to be a manager. He was friendly and polite but would keep getting up while doing my nails. He would take of my polish then get up to do something, sit back down buff one hand and get back up to do something. It went on like this throughout my appointment to get a fill. As he was shaping my nails I realized we was making them point inwards a lot. I asked him not to do this but even once he was completed they still all looked strange. It was also freezing in the building, it being in November it seemed that they had not put their heat on for the season yet. This salon is little bit more pricey and im still trying to figure out why. I would not mind paying a little extra for my fill if it was a nicer environment, better quality or really good technicians. It was not any of that. Staff was definitely rushing through my manicure, the woman messed up one nail and didn't go back and fix it. I waited for them to dry for a bit and the woman told me that they were done and I could leave, but the nails were definitely still wet. She checked them again and said they were done and I believed her because they seemed to be, but about 30 minutes after I touched one to check and it marked it up! Not sure if it was the type of polish or how they applied it but I will not be going back. My friend also got her nails done at the same time and they cut them down to stubs, without her asking, and the polish was streaky. read more

I usually go to a salon in Massachusetts but couldn't get in before my birthday. I always noticed Lee nails was busy every time I drove by so I assumed they were good. I was horribly mistaken. I got a manicure and pedicure. A young man was helping me he seemed nice till he started my pedicure, he had a sneer on his face and didn't seemed to pleased. He cut my nails too short and had trouble painting them. I admit I have short toenails and if you cut too much they're stubs. The polish job was all over the place. I just let it go, I could fix it at home. For my manicure I choose a color that looked opaque on the sample nail but when he started painting them the color seemed sheer. When he finished it looked like a five year old did it. It was a gel polish so I was stuck with it. Later that day, two hours later, it started lifting and peeling. I went the very next day, my birthday, and had made an appointment prior day to make sure I could be seen immediately. They had no record of the appointment and had the nerve to tell me my cuticles and nails were oily and that's why the polish had trouble sticking. I told them I have had dozens of gel manicures before and had never had this happen, ever. They said they would fix it for half price but I had to wait 2 hours since they were busy. No thank you. I went to another salon and had to pay, again, for another gel manicure. Horrible business with terrible customer service. I am assuming they water down their nail polish to make it last longer. I wish I could rate this a NO STAR. Very rude manager or owner, not sure who he is. The guy that runs the front desk has no personality at all and is incredibly rude. He was watching TV the entire time he was rubbing my 78 year old Mothers legs and we were trying to get his attention to be softer and I tried to wave him down (i was sitting right next to him) and he refused to look at me. My Mom was embarrassed as she didn't want to make a scene. He caused my Mom to yell out twice in pain while he was trimming her nails and he never even reacted.
