Great place with a unique feel and awesome views. Most burrito places either make good or big burritos, but this place does both. Cheers!

Very happy that we ate lunch here at this cute traditional Mexican place. Decent size inside,…read morelooked like about 6 tables and 6 booths. Good Latin music playing, helps to keep the vibes positive, very colorful with parrots and art as well. The food is VERY fresh and VERY good. Chips and tortillas came out steaming hot, I love that. You can taste the difference. I tried Sergio's platter which has many items (carne asada chile relleno, taquitos, enchilada), as well as some carnitas, all of which was delicious. Service was efficient and very friendly. Nice people who work here. We got everything pretty fast and we were checked on often.

There are meals you remember for exceptional food, and others for the people who make you feel…read moretruly welcome. This restaurant delivered both. My wife and I arrived just as the restaurant was closing. The last guests were finishing up, chairs were being moved, and the staff was preparing to head home after a long day. We offered to return another time, but instead were greeted with warmth and generosity that exceeded all expectations. From the moment we walked in, we felt less like customers and more like honored guests. The owners' pride in their craft was unmistakable. Despite closing time, they graciously prepared a full meal and cared for us with a level of hospitality that was genuinely moving. While we waited, we took in an atmosphere that transported us to Mexico. A large map of the country covered one wall, highlighting cities and regions rich in history and culture. As aromas of freshly prepared food filled the air, we found ourselves planning future travels through Mexico. The setting, anticipation, and sense of welcome combined into something memorable. Then came the food. The Carne Asada plate was outstanding. The beef was perfectly grilled--tender, deeply flavorful, and expertly seasoned. Every element felt purposeful and balanced, proving how skill and care can elevate simple ingredients into something remarkable. And then there were the churros. Perfectly crisp on the outside, light and airy within, and dusted with just the right amount of cinnamon sugar, they were among the best desserts I have ever had. Every bite was warm, comforting, and unforgettable. Even the smallest details reflected the restaurant's commitment to hospitality. Our waitress was attentive and kind, and an ice-cold Coca-Cola served in a classic glass bottle added an authentic touch to the experience. Many restaurants pursue excellence through technique and presentation. What this place achieves is rarer: outstanding food paired with genuine human kindness. The flavors were unforgettable, but it was the generosity, warmth, and heart of the people behind them that made this one of the most memorable dining experiences my wife and I have shared. If you're alooking for authentic Mexican cuisine crafted with care and served by people who truly love what they do, this restaurant is extraordinary.

The pork was out of this world, best pork tacos I've ever had. Fish and shrimp tacos were good as well. This could be the best Mexican restaurant in Canada and it's just sitting out here in the middle of nowhere. Friendly staff too, appears to be family run. If you live in Victoria it's worth the drive to check this spot out

This is about the worst Mexican food I've eaten, and I've eaten in many Mexican restaurants,…read moreincluding in Mexico. I got chicken quesadillas. The chicken inside was ok. They arrived on a paper in a plastic basket and were drenched in grease. The sour cream on the side was very watery. The salsa fresca was mostly just diced up flavorless tomatoes; very bland. Plus there was just a tiny cup of each, so not much to cut the greasiness. Waitress never came out to see if I wanted anything more. The horchata (rice drink) was also at least twice as watery as normal. Are they cutting costs by watering things down? The outside eating area could have been nice, but it is very neglected. The pots held mostly weeds and the seats and ground had lots of old dead leaves. It's summer now, not Fall, so those leaves have been there a while. The food was very slow in coming even though there was just one other table. (Folks at that table were also complaining of the long wait). The reggae music was nice (but a further indication this is not a real Mexican place). This place needs some serious attention from someone who cares.
