We got the lunch buffet and it was amazing. It was truly just great food. Everything we had tasted good and was full of flavor. Beautiful inside and dining areas. The service was great as well. I would highly recommend

Chicken biryani, and other yummy dishes!

Amazing food and portion sizes. Entrees were large enough to share with a friend. Beautiful decor and atmosphere in downtown! Service was a little slow but very friendly staff.

So Delicious! Happy to know there's great Indian around. The inside atmosphere is beautiful! Decor is top notch perfect for a date night! We ordered to go but I regretted not staying there to eat when I came to pick up my food lol. Food was so good and service was great. Definitely coming back.

But I would rather drive out to Morrisville or Raleigh to get Indian food. I bought chicken tandoori (didn't come with any rice) and the chicken tikka masala. Chicken tikka masala is my go to dish. But I felt like I was eating dessert... it was heavy on the sugar! Never have I tasted it like this. Also the portions are small! The take out rice was what I normally have left over when I eat Indian food. It was almost $40 for my order. The wait was long I waited 50+ mins to order and wait for the food. Service was lacking. There was only one server. I had to wait for 2 tables to order before I could. Every time I would come in to check and see if my food was ready the waitress kept going to the back to wait for food to be ready, and I just wanted to get an idea of how much longer I'd be waiting. And finally when the food was ready as I walked to the car and got in something was dripping from the bottom of the bag. It was poorly packed. The tandoori chicken lemon sauce had soaked and spilled through the paper bag. It burned my hand. I had to take the items out of the bag.

Delicious Indian food in Wake Forest!…read more Super kind staff and quick service. Our favorites here are the chicken Korma, the paneer palak, and the garlic naan. They do a 1-10 spice level which I love. I think a 5 has a good building heat and there are plenty of options to go hotter or more mild from there. Great for takeout or in person.

Instead, a very kind man greeted me and escorted me to a table. The restaurant is very bright inside and a little industrial, but decorated in standard well-worn Indian fare. Their menu is filled with familiar favorites and a couple surprise stand-outs like momo and some Afghani dishes. And to my very pleasant surprise, they offer goat as an option in several dishes. I love goat meat, and can't get it very often, since hardly anyone offers it. So I delighted ordered goat curry, 7 on the spicy scale, and a side of raita, in case the kitchen has a sense of humor. As it turns out, I thought the 7 was fairly med-mild, but my spice level in near super-human. But the kind waitress brought me "Spicy Sauce@ which added a delightful kick!! The curry came with rice and a nice papadaam/chutney set-up. And portions were large enough that I took half home and enjoyed it the next day (when it was even better!!). So definitely an A+ experience. Highly recommended!! Will definitely be back!!!

"Nepalese and Indian food in downtown Raleigh, near Marriott"…read more With a great location, this is VERY close to the Raleigh Convention Center. We arrived on a Thursday night at 6pm with a group of 5. The dining area didn't really accommodate a group that size, but they made it work by moving tables around, which was nice. The place was not very large, but there was maybe only one other family eating inside. The bathroom was clean. I split two dishes with my son-- salmon tikka masala and shrimp (prawn) saag, both coming with rice. We were given some papadum, I think, as a snack as we waited on the food, along with some spicy dips. Food came in maybe 10 minutes or so, which was great timing. However, I have to say, both dishes we tried were underwhelming. The shrimp was oddly translucent and not very flavorful in its dish, and the spinach in the saag wasn't especially tasty (though it did have a nice spiciness). The tikka masala sauce was great, but the salmon also was pretty underwhelming. We both said we'd probably just get chicken next time and not splurge the extra for the salmon. No dish was "bad", but just we expected them to be delicious and they were just OK. I'm just really surprised given how many people said this was the "best Indian" they'd had. The staff were friendly-- refilled drinks well and were good at answering questions. And the price was reasonable. Altogether, I'll give it 4 stars given the great location, good service, good price, but not 5 given the food was "just OK". Realistically, I probably wouldn't go back-- we have lots of great Indian in Durham and Chapel Hill, so I'd rather wait and get that.

The staff could not have been more accommodating. Our waitress, Katie, was incredibly friendly and attentive, and the manager, Sammy, went out of her way to make us feel welcome. The chef even came over to introduce himself, which was a really nice touch. We also learned during our visit that the restaurant has recently been recognized by Michelin, very well deserved. Won't be surprised if they get their first star in the coming months. Definitely save room for the desserts, I've never tasted anything like it. A perfect place for a special night, and it'll always mean a lot to us since it's where our story started. We'll be back soon.

Instead, we were met at the host stand and immediately informed of a "no children under five" policy. This was presented not as an unfortunate misunderstanding, but as an oversight on our part, with staff insisting we should have known because it appears on their website. The issue, however, is that the reservation was made through OpenTable, where no such policy is disclosed. Even after the fact, I checked the restaurant's website and found the policy buried under a separate "policies" tab--not exactly front-and-center, and difficult to miss unless you were actively searching for it. Expecting guests to intuit or independently verify hidden policies, especially when booking through a third-party platform, feels unreasonable. More disappointing than the policy itself was the tone with which it was communicated. The interaction felt cold, dismissive, and entirely lacking in hospitality. We were told that the manager could be asked, but by that point, we already felt quite unwelcome. Restaurants are, of course, entitled to set their own policies--but how those policies are communicated matters just as much. Unfortunately, this experience left us feeling unwelcome and chastised rather than valued as guests. We will not be returning.
