This is a hidden gem! It was a big surprise to find the restaurant was in a pretty plain looking exterior building. Then when you go inside it has a very nice interior, to inclement a bar. It's like stepping into a different and fun world. Since we were a bit sceptic we ordered the safe butter chicken, masala, samosa and plain naan. The food tasted authentic and delicious! We enjoyed every single dish. The server was friendly and attentive. If we had more time we would have ordered more drinks and dishes.

We got the lunch buffet and it was amazing. It was truly just great food. Everything we had tasted good and was full of flavor. Beautiful inside and dining areas. The service was great as well. I would highly recommend

So Delicious! Happy to know there's great Indian around. The inside atmosphere is beautiful! Decor is top notch perfect for a date night! We ordered to go but I regretted not staying there to eat when I came to pick up my food lol. Food was so good and service was great. Definitely coming back.

Chicken biryani, and other yummy dishes!

Amazing food and portion sizes. Entrees were large enough to share with a friend. Beautiful decor and atmosphere in downtown! Service was a little slow but very friendly staff.

Very poor service. And the food was not good at all. Initially when it was open it was good but now they lack services.

But I would rather drive out to Morrisville or Raleigh to get Indian food. I bought chicken tandoori (didn't come with any rice) and the chicken tikka masala. Chicken tikka masala is my go to dish. But I felt like I was eating dessert... it was heavy on the sugar! Never have I tasted it like this. Also the portions are small! The take out rice was what I normally have left over when I eat Indian food. It was almost $40 for my order. The wait was long I waited 50+ mins to order and wait for the food. Service was lacking. There was only one server. I had to wait for 2 tables to order before I could. Every time I would come in to check and see if my food was ready the waitress kept going to the back to wait for food to be ready, and I just wanted to get an idea of how much longer I'd be waiting. And finally when the food was ready as I walked to the car and got in something was dripping from the bottom of the bag. It was poorly packed. The tandoori chicken lemon sauce had soaked and spilled through the paper bag. It burned my hand. I had to take the items out of the bag.

Delicious Indian food in Wake Forest!…read more Super kind staff and quick service. Our favorites here are the chicken Korma, the paneer palak, and the garlic naan. They do a 1-10 spice level which I love. I think a 5 has a good building heat and there are plenty of options to go hotter or more mild from there. Great for takeout or in person.

Instead, a very kind man greeted me and escorted me to a table. The restaurant is very bright inside and a little industrial, but decorated in standard well-worn Indian fare. Their menu is filled with familiar favorites and a couple surprise stand-outs like momo and some Afghani dishes. And to my very pleasant surprise, they offer goat as an option in several dishes. I love goat meat, and can't get it very often, since hardly anyone offers it. So I delighted ordered goat curry, 7 on the spicy scale, and a side of raita, in case the kitchen has a sense of humor. As it turns out, I thought the 7 was fairly med-mild, but my spice level in near super-human. But the kind waitress brought me "Spicy Sauce@ which added a delightful kick!! The curry came with rice and a nice papadaam/chutney set-up. And portions were large enough that I took half home and enjoyed it the next day (when it was even better!!). So definitely an A+ experience. Highly recommended!! Will definitely be back!!!

"Nepalese and Indian food in downtown Raleigh, near Marriott"…read more With a great location, this is VERY close to the Raleigh Convention Center. We arrived on a Thursday night at 6pm with a group of 5. The dining area didn't really accommodate a group that size, but they made it work by moving tables around, which was nice. The place was not very large, but there was maybe only one other family eating inside. The bathroom was clean. I split two dishes with my son-- salmon tikka masala and shrimp (prawn) saag, both coming with rice. We were given some papadum, I think, as a snack as we waited on the food, along with some spicy dips. Food came in maybe 10 minutes or so, which was great timing. However, I have to say, both dishes we tried were underwhelming. The shrimp was oddly translucent and not very flavorful in its dish, and the spinach in the saag wasn't especially tasty (though it did have a nice spiciness). The tikka masala sauce was great, but the salmon also was pretty underwhelming. We both said we'd probably just get chicken next time and not splurge the extra for the salmon. No dish was "bad", but just we expected them to be delicious and they were just OK. I'm just really surprised given how many people said this was the "best Indian" they'd had. The staff were friendly-- refilled drinks well and were good at answering questions. And the price was reasonable. Altogether, I'll give it 4 stars given the great location, good service, good price, but not 5 given the food was "just OK". Realistically, I probably wouldn't go back-- we have lots of great Indian in Durham and Chapel Hill, so I'd rather wait and get that.

What I appreciated the most was that everything was reminiscent of their original dishes, but with innovative and delicious twists- fusion perfection. We got the: - Four Cheese Truffle Kulcha (sharp cheddar, brie, asiago, chilli, black truffle dust, truffle butter, shishito pepper): Love a good bread moment- this one was cheesy, savory, and buttery; appreciated the contrast from the shishito. Added the roasted garlic and chilli dip upon the servor's rec for an extra cost; it was good, but not necessary- I'd probably skip this next time. - Chaat Mate (purple sweet potato & crunchy kale chaat, crispy okra & tuk aloo chat): Loved this! Such cool takes on chaat, which happens to be one of my favorite Indian dishes. Really appreciated all the elements, such good diversity of flavors and textures- crispy, sweet, tangy, earthy. - Nadru Malai Kofta (lotus stem dumplings, nut based sauce, plain butter naan or steam rice): First off, such a pretty dish! The gravy was rich and creamy; the dumplings were so interesting (strong spice essence). - Nigellaseeds Chilly Olive Naan: Got this because I thought the ingredients for this naan sounded unique- it was decent naan, but nothing mind blowing, would probably skip next time. - North Meets South (elaneer payasam, ghewar, rose, hibiscus, coconut jelly, young coconut): Maybe my favorite part of the whole meal! Loved every aspect of this dessert, which seemed so separate but all came together beautifully. Not too sweet, which was great too. I've never had anything like this before. Service was great. We mentioned to our server that we were rushing to catch a show in an hour, and he was so amenable! Ambiance is really nice, definitely one of the prettiest restaurants around. Orlando took great care of us, made thoughtful recommendations throughout the meal, and struck balance of being attentive without hovering. The food was outstanding. I especially loved the snapper entrée, and both the shrimp and pork belly appetizers were excellent. The biggest surprise, though, was the paneer. Instead of the firm texture you typically expect, it had an incredibly rich, almost ricotta-like quality that was a refreshing take on a staple. We finished with two desserts (I wish I could remember their names), and both were fantastic. Tamasha took familiar Indian flavors and present them in fresh and elevated way. I was really impressed.
