Absolutely the worst threading I've gotten in my life. I like my eye brows full as I always have. I went in today and Pretty made one of my eyebrows a considerable size smaller and shorter than the other. She said they looked good and she only cleaned them up. She took off pretty much half of my eyebrow. And then I leave. I get to my car and see that she only did the middle part of my chin neck area. I called back to see if she can take me and she said she was busy. I just really wanted her to finish up the poor job but she did from the beginning. I was always skeptical of getting my eyebrows done anywhere else but the one from home, but I could not stand having to wait about 2-3 months until my next trip home so I gave this place a try. The ladies there are always super nice when doing my eyebrows and try their best to even it out. One eyebrow is naturally way more arched than the other which is always hard to fix but they do a pretty good job of evening it out the best they can. Brows are sisters not twins am I right? She was not in and I took the chance with someone else thinking that they all do a wonderful job. I came out with one of my eye brows thinner and totally different shaped then the other. I was hesitant about trying this place but since my usual eyebrow threader was out of town I decided to give it a chance and I'm glad I did. Convenient hours and I'm happy with the shaping of my brows. I would definitely recommend Raj she always takes her time, is always thorough and never cuts. I have had another lady at this location do my brows when Raj was unavailable and I was not happy with results as she left me with many cuts and didn't take her time (do not know her name). Seriously I hate this place.. The lady left cuts on my left lid and in between my eyebrows. Did my eyebrows in under 5 min. Most painful threading I've ever experienced & threading never hurts?! (For me) one brow was super arched and he other one wasn't ) didn't take her time at all. If you want to get your eye brows threaded go to Amy's Skin Care on de la vina street by the daily grind. If I could give it zero stars, I would. Went to Michelle (a newer girl with glasses, black hair, and light skin), she ruined the shape for me and was clearly a beginner at threading. She dropped the thread itself multiple times and somehow managed to make my eyebrows look WORSE than when I came in. DO NOT RECOMMEND literally go anywhere else, she did not even seem apologetic for the experience. They should not be doing eyebrows on their customers as practice, but that is what it looked and felt like. Have never cried after getting my eyebrows done before this TERRIBLE experience. read more

The only reason I gave them 1 star is because you can't give them a BIG HUGE ZERO. I was specific and said I don't want my eyebrows thin and she said ok. I kept reminding her when I finally looked half my eyebrow was gone! If there was a way to sue them I would. I have never rated anyone for bad service. I went last night for the first time & I paid half of what I would usually pay at Benefit (without tip) a few blocks up, and I am OH SO HAPPY , my cousin had been nagging me to stop waxing and start threading but I've had past experiences at other malls that it hurt so bad that I didn't want to but I went in and the home girl Maritza made it such a sweet experience it didn't take too long and it was oh so gentle like I'm serious she has a soft but efficient hand, my eyebrows are alright since they're going through stuff thanks to benefit :-( but I'm going back and only seeing Maritza for sure! read more

I have been getting my eyebrows here for more than 4 years and I wouldn't change it for any other location. Pretty does an amazing job and is always making my eyebrows look amazing. Thank god for this place. Only $10 with coupon, which all the ladies hook me up with because I often lose the one they give me between trips to this salon. I've been getting my brows done here for the last three years, since I moved to SB. Every time I have gone in, its been great, but the last time especially! I have really thick eye brows that can look like insane catepillars or amazing archs for my face, depending on how well they are done. I usually come here to get my upper lip threaded, and it's always really fast and cheap. This past visit I came to get my eyebrows cleaned up. Good service, can't beat the price! Eyebrow clean up: $10 Upper lip: $6 I've searched for a long time for a place for eyebrow threading and I couldn't find a place with a better price! First time I went, I had small cuts on my eyelid. On the second time the service was perfect! Too bad I forgot to ask for the lady's name. On the third time Siya did my eyebrown. Very good service but not as good as the second time (or so it seems). Yesterday I went there and Sapna did my eyebrows. Once more, very good service (but again I wasn't as impressed as the second time, which makes me think that I had an impression of a perfect service on my second visit because my expectations were low due to my experience on my first visit). I always go on a walking basis. Yesterday was the only time I had to wait for about 10min because there were 4/5 ppl in front of me. But if your schedule is tight, you can call and schedule an appointment. Oh, they offer free eyebrow clean up service on your birthday (or a couple of days before or after!). They do a good job. My eyebrows always end up well shaped and polished. The price is right. I use Retin-a so I can't wax or I risk tearing my face off. Threading works great for me. You sign in on a clipboard at the unattended desk and the women just call the next customer's name from that list. Don't sit down, expecting them to ask you what service you're looking for. You'll be there a long time and lose your place in "line". They also never answer the phone, so don't call to get an appt. Just go, but be prepared to wait a little bit. read more

First time going here and definitely my last. Decent brows for 10 bucks. I asked if she could do my brows with a pointy arch and define my arch. She said no because she would have to "completely" reshape my brow and told me it looked it "fine". She didn't even tweeze the single hairs or trim them. My girlfriend does not have a Yelp account, so I'm posting this on her behalf. Walked in early today so I wouldn't catch a line, place was empty and I was helped right away. The girls were friendly, but one had an accent I could not completely understand. She ordered me to move my hands, but again not understanding what she said she repeated herself numerous times and then asking me "have u been here before?" making me feel insecure. I admit, I haven't been there in a while so I had forgot how it works, but it was not very friendly customer service. My eyebrows, as others had mentioned, came out pretty funky. That might be my bad, but they are different shapes and arches. I got to check them out and since its sensitive to your eyes, you look at yourself in a mirror with teary eyes and say thank you. As I'm paying, I got handed back a $5 and 5 ones. I work as a cashier and wouldn't usually do this, instead hand them back 2 $5...I guess she really wanted a tip. read more

I am so glad I found them! they moved about 4 months ago and I was so sad. I love to get my eyebrows/lip done here because it is so fast and cheap. I have been to there other locations as well and they are great but this one is close to my work so its easier for me. I love the girl who does me because she is so gentle with me. my eyebrows are also starting to get back to my natural shape which makes me excited. I've been coming here for years to get my eyebrows threaded and I just stopped in spontaneously because it had been over 2 weeks since the last time I got my eyebrows done, and I just received the worst service ever. First, the place was a mess. Pieces of old string hanging on the chairs, cotton balls and more string all over the floor and not even placed properly inside the trash can, and when I walked in, the woman was on her phone and pointed at a chair for me to sit in - no formal greeting, and then she walked into another room to finish her phone call. When I walked over to the chair she had indicated, I had to clean it myself because there was pieces of old string still hanging onto the part where you place your head. I had told her all I wanted was a clean up, and the woman rudely told me that the next time I decided to get my eyebrows done, to make sure I didn't have any make up on, which I then replied with the fact that has never been an issue before and with the years of me coming here, I had never been told that. Needless to say, she did a terrible job and then proceeded to blame the fact that it was because of my eyebrow powder. She went on to explain to me that natural appearing eyebrows is what I need to come in with so they can "evaluate and shape" them, even though that's NOT what I wanted, and she said all she did was a "clean-up" and she barely removed any hair, and she messed up the shape that was there. I will never come back to this place again, solely because of the rude and terrible customer service I received by this woman. read more
